Ed Marlo, I think, is the best card magician, or cardician, that has lived so far. Showing his secrets publicly through Youtube, or any form of public access media is a disgrace. His tricks should be kept as how they are: astonishing and should be his and only his' tricks that no one else should use.
First of All, to Ssakmonoske. Any sleight can be as amazing or as pathetic as the magician using it. Neither the back palm nor the double lift are any sort of amazing art. But almost all magicians use at least one of them. And to the people who are getting mad about "exposing tenkai," go yell at Dan and Dave Buck, they put it on youtube in their Jones Change tutorial. But it doesn't matter. Almost everybody knows what a palm is, but if you use it correctly it's still impossible to detect.
@Jesys1 Right on. Magic done well is all about entertaining your audience. Hobby magicians worry a bit too much about exposure online, because they tend to treat magic like a puzzle. If you challenge your audience to figure out the method, it's not magic. If you entertain them, they won't care so much about the method. Like most professions, the true secrets of magic are dedication and practice.
This is a bunch of absolute shit! You really need not to expose the Tenkai. I do this in my routines and I hate when people expose methods for nothing more than self-gain.
No offence dude but it is. Ed marlo is incredible but he still uses alotta basic sleight. Just because an incredible magician uses basic sleight doesn't mean the sleight is some amazing art. I learned that sleight in a day, three days tops and you can get it anywheres. Book from chapters or indigo, torrent, magic websites. My point is its hardly an elite and or secret trick so relax. I get pissed when I see the more obscure or advanced techniques being posted!

And yeah, people really need to stop posting solutions on sites like YouTube.
