Beautiful place to visit and stay. I have very fond memories of the Youth Hostel - I stayed there on a school trip when I was 12 - I got hit in the head with a cricket bat and ended up getting stiches lol. Falkland Castle and grounds are lovely. Great Post.

We were playing rounders in the car park and a big bruiser of a boy (who shall remain nameless), whacked the ball with such force the bat went up in the air and I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. LOL
