@Nawas7 - OK, so the Quran has verses about murder and terrorism, and, to my surprise, being kind to enemies. Is there anything in the New Testament about fighting or hurting or making war against people? There are verses in the New Testament about making war or fighting against SPIRITS, but anything in the New Testament about making war or fighting against PEOPLE, like there are in the Qur'an?

The Koran doesn't have verses about murder or terrorism. It surely support fighting evil when it's right to do so.
As for the New Testament & since it's only talk about kindness even with the enemy, why did the US go to war against Hitler? Why didn't they just turn to the other cheek as the NT commands?

Turn the other cheek is for person to person interactions. When soldiers ask what they should do, they are NOT told to quit being soldiers per Luke 3:14. God ordained government per Romans 13.

@NameCallingIsWeak You don't quote the Koran out of context. Before selecting 2 different seperated verses from Chapter 8 in the Koran, learn what chapter 8 is all about. It talks mainly about the 1st confrontation between Muslims & the pagans of Mecca who oppressed Muslims in many ways for 13 years.

@11younggun11 believe it or not, Bin Laden's belief is a combination of old Arab tribalism with some socialist influence & a great Baathi influence. Even though he denies it. Trust me, there are several factors & several ways that lead to extremism. But they have a lot in common when it comes to violence.
