when it comes down to it some people use their "average looks" as confidence, other people may have been brought up in a different upbringing thus causing low self esteem and low confidence and ability to go up to people and get out of their comfort zone. Phycologically some people get affected by sertain things differently, some people are sensitive others are not, its easy to say to someone that dose not have confidence just get up and do it, cause really they dont know how.
