Everytime I see this vid, I get pumped! I would LOVE to have D. Howard on our team but if that means getting rid of Deng, Gibson and Korver,( which it probably will) he can keep his ass in Orlando. One question. If the Bulls were to get lucky dump Boozer's contract to another team, would that be enough to sign Dwight if he was willing to take what we offered Boozer? First of all, Deng was the second best player on the Bulls last season, secondly he doesn't have 7 years left on his contract, he only has 2 left on it and he's only 27. The Bulls have the assets to make it happen. They have Asik, Noah, Gibson,Deng, their draft picks plus the Bobcats first round pick to offer.

@MOISTTOWLETS Noah is not a good role player, we have a backup center right now in Omer Asik that would be starting on some teams. Noah is one of the best defending centers in the NBA and is still able to get 10-10 every night and is a much better offensive rebounder than Bynum. And you definitely didn't watch the the bulls season if you think Deng didn't earn his contract this year. And we have the 23rd pick and the 30th pick aswell as the Bobcats 1st round pick next year.

The description you just gave of him is the description of a very good role player, like Lamar Odom caliber player. Deng makes 12 mil a year with several years left of his deal for a 17 ppg very good defender. Odom makes 8 mil a year for 14 ppg 9 rpg. Orlando doesnt want Deng's money holding them back moving forward
@MOISTTOWLETS Noah is a very good center, probably top 10. He is also a very good passer and can guard 3 positions, I mean did you see him stuff Lebron? Noah is a starter in almost every team and could play PF with elite centers. Deng and Odom are completely different positions and to compare them isn't something to do. Deng is a much better ball dribbler and takes it to the basket harder than Odom, but Odom is a PF so you wouldn't expect him to do that. And Deng is a very good rebounding SF.

1) It all depends on Dwight. If he tells ORL he will leave no matter what, ORL will look to trade.
2) Then it still depends on Dwight, and where he tells them he wants to go. If he says he only wants to go to 1 place, ORL is screwed (like NY was).
3) But if Dwight gives ORL a wish-list of 5 or so teams, ORL can win big.
4) Assuming #3, ORL will look to package Gilbert with any deal they do (and there will be teams willing to take on Gilbert's contract) just to have Dwight.
What people fail to realize is Dwight has the power to invoke a trade. If this should happen and he so much as mentions Chicago as a destination, I believe that Otis would literally have to work with Chicago to get something done. That gives Chicago leverage and therefore we may be able to keep our solid roster to some extent. If the magic don't comply, then he can walk via free agency, or they can always piss everyone off and trade him to another team with similar options such as the nets.

I could see numbers 1 and 12 hanging from the rafters when it is all said and done, but what matters first is getting the tandem together. The Bulls have more to offer than the Nets, though it won't be the most attractive deal for the Magic.

First of all, Deng was the second best player on the Bulls last season, secondly he doesn't have 7 years left on his contract, he only has 2 left on it and he's only 27. Noah is one of the best defending centers in the NBA and is still able to get 10-10 every night and is a much better offensive rebounder than Bynum. And you definitely didn't watch the the bulls season if you think Deng didn't earn his contract this year. And we have the 23rd pick and the 30th pick aswell as the Bobcats 1st round pick next year.

The description you just gave of him is the description of a very good role player, like Lamar Odom caliber player. Deng makes 12 mil a year with several years left of his deal for a 17 ppg very good defender. Odom makes 8 mil a year for 14 ppg 9 rpg. Orlando doesnt want Deng's money holding them back moving forward

Noah is a starter in almost every team and could play PF with elite centers. Deng and Odom are completely different positions and to compare them isn't something to do. Deng is a much better ball dribbler and takes it to the basket harder than Odom, but Odom is a PF so you wouldn't expect him to do that. And Deng is a very good rebounding SF.

What people fail to realize is Dwight has the power to invoke a trade. If this should happen and he so much as mentions Chicago as a destination, I believe that Otis would literally have to work with Chicago to get something done. That gives Chicago leverage and therefore we may be able to keep our solid roster to some extent. If the magic don't comply, then he can walk via free agency, or they can always piss everyone off and trade him to another team with similar options such as the nets.
