  • Got here from Yrimir, lets just say you earned a subscriber :)

  • @Nougat341 Thanks!

  • Oh yea. Add some music in speed runs or at least leave the game music on

  • once you got your gold broadsword you should have gone to the corruption and gotten 30 rotten chunks, 60 powder and gotten shadowscale armor and lights bane

  • @Valdevon Or by that logic, just that early spear.

  • @Tuxlar or by that logic use that starter picaxe

  • @Tuxlar i see most do this in a speedrun, but why? I mean regarding the hook.. isnt it better to just buy it from the guy?

  • @peedera0 It would be if killing the goblin army to get the 'guy' was timely... or at least if the grapple wasn't able to save you a ton of time prior.

  • @Tuxlar What editing program do you use?

  • @Valdevon you could actually do it with 100 health, one potion and shurikens

  • Mad props to you. Any hardcore runs I've ever done never reached fighting the corruption. You, sir, are a pro.

  • yrimir owned your time lol...

  • beaten haha

  • I'm curious about two things:

    1) IIRC, you didn't upgrade your pick-axe from copper until you could make a nightmare one. Wouldn't upgraded pickaxes have helped you do it faster?

    2) You made some stone block bridges where you later destroyed the part behind you. If you were going to do that, wouldn't have sped things up if you'd gone to the trouble of mining some more dirt blocks?

  • @KhymChanur 1) Upgrading a pickaxe takes too much ore to be time efficient.

    2) Yes, there's a ton of little improvements I could have made. Moreso to the overall strategy than specific tactics like that, though, which I admittedly wasn't as concerned with at the time.

  • this is quite entertaining... YOU BETTER MAKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR THE 1.1 UPDATE :)

  • 2:06 Correction. That is a 4 foot pit. Each block is 2 feet. Or else your char would be a midget xD

  • i like your thin and tall house design :)

  • 13:00 wait, how did you go past that dirt block with the grapple???

  • @flibitybibitygibit Game glitch. You can also squeeze under 2 block horizontal gaps this way, too.

  • @Tuxlar I LOVE THAT GLITCH

  • oh my god you lucky, band of regen helps so much in the begining

  • Managed to barely beat your speed run with a speed of 3:17:52 and what was insane i fell into lava but managed to jump out and survive with 1 health left

  • @corellian254 I'd love to see a recording of that.

  • @Tuxlar Im gonna try to get a recording thing but i really dont have the money atm

  • @corellian254 Google up Taksi and then install the Xvid codec (also google).

  • @Tuxlar Uploading first video now proccesing y u take so long

  • Great vid subbed

  • Haha nice! Those texts are funny also:P

  • 6:50

    Emeralds.

  • Hey, I think you could have just sped up this end footage again? Take the file that you sped up, then speed it up x4 again? I think that may have worked. If it wouldn't have, then it may if you ran it through another editor like Windows Live Movie Maker. That lets you speed it up. I THINK that may work.

  • @legosharky Any faster and a lot of the events become incomprehensible, though.

  • @Tuxlar Ah, I just said that because you said: "Sony Vegas only lets me go up to 4x." I just posted the comment to say you COULD, if you had wanted to. I do know that the faster events go by, the harder they are to track.

  • @legosharky Understood.

  • Spears suck against slimes-Why else would I use spears against slimes?

  • You just earned a sub. Grats.

  • You did more in 30 minutes than I have in a week

  • 6:46 ..gems! ;D

  • Do you know how fast this was sped up to?

    3x 4x etc

  • @killbunny90210 Sony Vegas only lets me go up to 4x. I tend to adjust the speed according to the situation.

  • I'll like and subscribe... when I hear commentary!

  • WOw, thanks you for teaching me how to dig through bodies of water!

  • What size of the world is this run?

  • @Arkayer Small. Only logical size to use for speedrunning I think. :P

  • @Tuxlar Yea. I saw the size in part 3, I'm currently at part 4.

    Good stuff. :D

  • This is amazing.

  • What editing and recording program did you use?

  • @BlueTempz Taksi for recording (xvid codec), Sony Vegas for editing. Just started learning it earlier yesterday.

  • @Tuxlar First i thougt this was just another boring video, but i really liked your style of playing and sense of humer thumbs up for me :)
