  • I love the double-beat-thing in your song , "of all universes" etc!

  • Try this on;

2D objects, shadows, are created be the silhouette of a 3D object. Could then 3D objects be the shadows of the 4th D, Time? Could then, that 4th D called Time be a silhouette of the 5thD an so on? If so, Plato's Cave is even more profound than before.

  • @DrLeroyGreen Exactly! Have you watched my video Hypercubes and Plato's Cave yet? watch?v=uP_d14zi8jk

  • My wife has incorporated some of the ideas of quantum mechanics and holographic theory into her Doctoral dissertation. It was received very well by very notable Sociologists in Europe. We are now working on a book that will apply these ideas to our human condition. Your video blog has been invaluable to us! Thanks!

  • @supobostarman Thanks so much! I'd love to see the final result, please let me know when it's available. I'm also very pleased to see that Scientific American published an online blog about viral science videos, and they gave my project a very nice review. Exciting!

    Thanks for writing,

    Rob

  • @dieselboy87 Yes, and it was just yesterday that the popular idea was that the Sun revolves around the Earth and the Americas where largely unknown by a major part of so called civilized man.

  • No offense but I don't really care if the universe is holographic cuz it wont stop me from having to go to school and university and work..

  • god every body wants to be a rock star dont they lol

  • i do love you Rob ... lol you make my head hurt in a good way!

  • wow the intro part of that song is amazing i love it :D

  • @szivalj Thanks! :)

  • Perhaps we are just 2D information, every thing in the universe is designed from bits of information on this hologram. each universe seperated as they are different holograms within the multihologram realm. A brain is just bits of information in such an arrangment they become conscious and the bits of the brain describes the consciousness as experiencing the bits of information within the brain so that consicousness experiences the world in 3 dimensions only within the mind though.

  • thanks for sharing exciting new physics! I started out making holograms as an artist, and now im exploring the metaphysics of it.. check out my blog!

  • You ever smell yer body parts smell under yer arms... in tha armpits? Just put some vinegar on it, why didn't you think of that! For yer hulth.

  • I respect your ideas but without any proven evidence it sounds like string theorists do not make predictions, they make excuses for the universe.

  • Hello¡ could you make a video explaining the 4 dimesion please?

  • non-euclidean, non-newtonian blasphemy !! EEEK! I understand COMPLETELY - ROTF

  • Please Mr. Bryanton, tell me i can download this song somewhere! =D

  • @Cloakedsoar You can download the tenth dimension collection of 15 songs for five bucks at the tenth dimension digital items store. Google tenth dimension digital and it should come up as the first search result. Thanks!

  • I feel that in terms of being smart, I pretty low as I dont understand this. Basically I thick. He he

  • wow im just some random metal head who found this by lookin for Scar Symmetry's Holographic Universe album. now im really interested in this stuff XD

  • tripy..

  • WE LIVE IN A UNIVERSE PROJECTED BY OTHER PARALLEL UNIVERSES AND HIGHER DIMENSIONAL SPACE. SO WE MAY LIVE IN THE MATRIX AFTER ALL!!!!!!!!

  • I love starting with a point!

  • Are you on Acid?

  • i heard rob is worth over $10billion.... just for being smart

  • big bang and big crunch is gods dna its all just information and interferance holograpicaly take form with potentioal energy to gain more knowlege of its one wise eternal infinite mind.every part reflects the whole like a fractel. take a psilocyben mushroom and you will see all is information and light.

  • @monkeyjoe9 Thats so weird thats how i thnk of everything now as well...

  • instead of sayin i saw an error in your logic im a genius nerd why dont people just try and state there known facts or opinions and let people figure it out for them self.and even if there was a big bang there would have to be sum kind of giant crush because there always is somekind of oppisite and eually opposing force like yin and yang and a lot of things do that, like dna for example is a vortex wich hits a focal point then expands and repeats.dna is information maby the big ban and b

  • Rob you've got a lot of work to do to prove anything that you're saying. Now you're not behind any of the Quantum Jumping Advertisements on your blog are you? That's silly nonsense and fraud.

  • lol 8:18

  • bunch of nerds fighting to be no-it-alls when they are too stupid to jus enjoy a video. Wow. Btw this is sum relly gud stuff its interesting.

  • How do cameras manage to pick up images and colour if our brains are the instruments that decode wavelengths?

  • I've seen on your blog that you embrace particular ideas of Douglas Hofstadter from his book: "I Am a Strange Loop". Now my question to you is: do you also agree with him that consciousness or the "I" is merely an illusion?

  • Is Michael Talbot's book "The Holographic Universe" a reliable book, or does it mainly contain nonsense? Someone, please tell me.

  • So, you're basically saying that reality isn't real?

  • Is the idea of a holographic universe more plausible than the idea of a multiverse? There are still many discussions about it, but it's difficult to choose between these interpretations - which one of them is the best to accept?

I heard from a guy here on YT that the idea of multiverse (the Copenhagen interpretation) is the most accepted interpretation among scientists, which makes the whole interpretation the best one.

  • I think the edge of universe equals particles, and that space is opposite from trigonometri. There is no remote boundary, the universe is infinite. A simple algorithm called "Photon rendering" shows how the "grains" of the hologram can be build up from particles observing each other. Visit w w w . c u t o u t p r o . c o m / n e w p h y si c s

  • I seem to feel a force that constantly interrupts whenever I try to share information with people or when trying to be creative (an emergency phone call from a woman, the power dies, a drink spills, something is missing, a glass breaks, ect.) My brother calls this "Mr Smith". There seems to be a negative energy that has to manifest but especially when trying be creative or having a meaningful conversation about higher levels of thinking. Have you experienced this? I tend to see this a lot.

  • @emperorkang Hmm, "infractions"? That's not a word I used. Holograms are created by interference patterns. Lasers are one of the ways to create a hologram, but the New Scientist article I'm quoting from here suggests that the interference patterns are occurring as a result of coherent extra-dimensional patterns, not lasers.

And in that same magazine article, when they refer to "Einstein's theory of gravity": this is his general relativity idea that gravity is a bending of spacetime.

    Thanks!

    Rob

  • There was a horizon program on recently called "the nature of reality" that was really interesting and covered the same topics as here. I didn't understand their explanation of a holographic universe though because they were talking about black holes and their event horizon. They said information was "lost" in the black hole which is impossible, so the theory goes that the information isn't lost but stored in some way in the event horizon. E.g. 3d info has a 2d representation of that info. Cont>

  • @zedooncadhz stored in the event horizon so nothing is really lost. They then go on to say that our 3d universe is a representation of a 2d event horizon surrounding our universe... But our universe isn't a black hole so i don't understand how they are coming to the conclusion of a holographic universe based on their knowledge of a black hole. I love all this sort of stuff, things start to become worryingly mundane though when you start to see how amazing it is that anything exists at all

  • @10thdim I don't think gravity is a sort of "interference".....more so, it's a property of COHERENCE. In other words, gravity is a property of the ocean of the Universe. There is also the other properties like electro-magnetism and nuclear forces. Sigh.....no wonder I never became a scientist.......it's very draining in a brainworks aspect.

  • @emperorkang Fail. Einstein was responsible for The Special Theory of Relativity, the theory about the speed of light and time, and General Relativity, the theory that gravity was the bending and warping of the fabric of space-time. You clearly have no understanding of either theory.

  • @Kasu1917 just as this "10thdim" nutjob hasn't even the basic concept of lasers or holograms....

Einstein didn't discover gravity itself. that was sir Isaac Newton.

  • @emperorkang No one said Einstein discovered gravity. Newton's theory explained how objects affected by gravity move, and the rate at which they move, etc. Einstein explained WHY objects are attracted, that objects with mass bend and warp the fabric of spacetime like a trampoline and other objects roll in. What is the fabric of 4-dimensional spacetime warping into? The fifth dimension.

Do the research or take your elementary education elsewhere.

  • @Kasu1917 an elementary education, huh?....at least that's better than some crackpot spewing pseudoscience and making stupid videos.

  • @emperorkang You don't know the difference between infraction and interference patterns, general relativity and universal gravitation, let alone quantum theory and higher dimensional geometry. Your problem is that you don't understand a word we are saying. It goes through one ear and out the other. You have no line.

  • @Kasu1917 its all crackpottery based off of real science and mathematics. a.k.a. pseudoscience. this guy has about as much credibility as "what the bleep do we know?"....which I'm sure you're a big fan of as well....

  • @emperorkang What's your point? You naively assume that the observed universe is "real" while everything you can't see is not "real" Where is the past and the future. Is everything happening within the dimensions of length, width, and depth, just a random interactions of particles that just happened to be governed by these specific natural laws that were so conveniently tuned to create our one, ultimate universe? You'd call it crackpottery even if science proves the 5th dimension beyond a doubt

  • @Kasu1917 i'm not calling well established mathmatics and science as scifi crap, i'm saying these wild theories of ten dimensions are about as valid as werewolves, ghost, and a magical shy daddy.

and the actual equations on a chalkboard or paper are real. the wild ideas about "buckaroo banzai in the 8th dimension" (and similar imaginations of what its like) are nothing but crazy talk.

  • @emperorkang lol Einstein had more than one theory bud. Most of which are related to gravity.

  • @Haseeebo so? this 10th dimension crap is nothing more than pseudoscience. anyways....

  • @emperorkang who are you to say what is and what isnt pseudoscience? Agreed its mostly speculation, but you can't argue the substanstiating amount of evidence FOR the big bang.

  • @Haseeebo we aren't talking about the big bang, numbnuts. this whole "what its like in the 10th dimension" is unproven pseudoscience.

    learn to read...derp.

  • @emperorkang Im not talking about the 10th dimension fagatron, im talkin about parrallel universes...besides, the big bang is unproven, so is the steady-state theory, so by your retarded logic, everything s pseudoscience.

  • @Haseeebo you misunderstand me. the big bang theory is backed by actual scientists with actual college degrees.

not some idiot youtuber with a floating head in his videos spouting psychobabble.

    see the difference?

  • @emperorkang Newton's Law of Gravity, not theory. A law is a verbal or mathematical statement of a relation that expresses a fundamental principle of science, a theory is a proposed explanation for the observed relation, which is what Einstein proposed with his general theory of relativity.

  • @xkateburnsx ok.

  • All that I'm going to say is listen to scar symmetry.

  • The song sucks, and I would sugest mental institution for you.

  • @mirfat200 lol that made me laugh but I think Mr. Bryanton's ideas are what many scientist are saying or thinking. I think as time goes by he will be one of the best internet personalities of all time. Bryanton isn't hollywood material and for that I'm greatful,Hhave you seen how discustiong hollywood has become and sci-fi and fantasy movies don't make you think like they use to.

  • love it big time

  • Love it!

    Kudos Rob!

Somewhere Carl Sagan and Frank Zappa are beaming with pride... ;-)

  • great song:)

  • You are a god. Thanks lol

  • OMG... Just amazing!

  • I've seen a few of your first videos around the internet. I didn't realize you had a whole channel of them! I need to find time to watch the rest.

  • this man is S A T A N !!

  • @weaselidiotu and im his false prophet mwhahaha!

  • every one of these videos just leads me to an even more interesting video

  • im guessing you are canadian and you need to stop saying "aboot" its so distracting! dont take this personal this just an advice for you, i dont mean to insult or make fun of you since i really love your videos! they are very descriptive.... thank you very much for these great videos hope you keep posting more and more! you are a great singer too :)

  • @Mac4ever101 You're mad, people have accents, get over it... You dont see me asking him to pronounce words in a British accent do you. I know you said you dont want to make fun or insult of him, but come on, as long as we can all understand then its great

  • Great vids! But I have an interesting question (unrelated to this vid though). In the many Worlds theory, when a new parallel universe is formed, does it continue on new region of spacetime, or does it stay on the same spacetime I'm on (or at least aware of), but separated by dimensions?

  • Now I've thought about my question (and watching your vids), all these timelines exist in the same spacetime, but separated along different paths in the fith dimension.

  • way to be proffesional. cheesy video. some good info lol

  • This is so fun ! I even love the song... But I have one suggestion, the song needs subtitles. I have always had a hard time following lyricks , and these words sound so profound that I might wish to learn them and play my guitar and sing this to children. Anyway, so glad I stumbled upon you. Now to see the rest of your work. I feel like I'm in a physics class in my own home. Thanks so much. Keep it up ! ***** MB

  • Thanks! In the description box here I've added a link to the blog entry which has lyrics and more discussion of the song. For some reason youtube's not showing the update for me yet, but it should be there soon.

The name of the song is The Unseen Eye: if you google unseen eye that blog entry should show up in the top few results.

Or... that blog title includes the words "song 4 of 26". If you google it that way, in quotes, it comes up as the number one search result.

    Hope that helps!

    Rob

  • Awesome video series, simply phenomenal. I really enjoy them, and had one question: is there any way to comprehend the non-integer dimensions in between each higher dimension? I am taking a university course on Fractals & Complexity, and objects can have fractal dimensions of any number. How could one visualize an object, of, say, dimensionality 3.25? Or 5.33333, etc? Or are we not at that level of analysis yet. Keep it up!

  • That's a great question. I think we see lots of evidence of fractal patterns that exist outside of spacetime that manifest themselves within our world. I've talked about fractal dimensions, Sierpinski Triangles, Koch Snowflakes etc in videos like these:

    Thanks for writing!

  • @EscapeDummy Interestingly enough, the quantum world works descretely and not as a continuum. We only measure whole numbers, whole steps of movements for particles. This is one of the evidences that we live in a digital universe because this is how movement occures in digital worlds that we build to run on PCs.

  • Why look for these stupid answers? What do you want to know for????

  • Why, are you scared of the implications these answers could lead to?

  • you know how they were talking about how if you zoom in on a newspaper, the lines would break up into dots (and so on as you zoom in on the newspaper the matter would break up into atoms and then strings)? well does the same apply to time? if you go from seconds to milliseconds and so on into a timeline, would the points from one unit of time become "grains" so you could see or feel what is between the units of time (or 4th, 5th and so on)?

  • According to quantum mechanics, spacetime is broken down into quanta, or "grains" as you call them. Likewise, loop quantum gravity theorists say that there are "atoms" of spacetime: same thing, planck length smallest-possible-units of space and time. I've talked about this in videos like Slices of Reality.

    watch?v=nheaNclVe2Y

So what happens when you zoom in so close that you're between these dots? You fall out into the underlying state: indeterminacy.

    Thanks for writing!

  • The first time I smoked I felt like my head was on a stick and going around the room with out my body. The second time I felt like I was being sliced into thin pieces like lunch meat. When I came around I could feel the cuts in my body

  • Clever song, i can see you know the truth. Feels good doesn't it.

  • I've never been as flabbergasted as now.....It's professional in a hilarious weird way.

  • Subbed! Sir u have some of the most fascinating thought imaginable, i envy you ;)

  • Your videos really are amazing and every one leaves me constantly in thought. Thank you for making your video blogs and releasing them as a DVD set. Do you have any recommendations for reading? I am currently reading Michio Kaku's Hyperspace and wonder if you may have read or formed an opinion on it. THANKS!

  • Yep, that's a great one. I keep coming back to Seth Lloyd's Programming the Universe because it fits so nicely with the "information equals reality" concept I keep talking about. And I'm actually just reading Talbot's book from 20 years ago, The Holographic Universe, which is a fascinating mixture of science and more "out there" concepts similar to the ones I keep delving into, it's an interesting book all right.

    Thanks for writing!

    Rob

  • mindrise666123....dude, so true! haha

  • He may be able to solve some of the most complex questions ever posed to mankind, but he cant make an aesthetically pleasing video for shit.

  • I've always(;)) wondered does it really take an psychedelics-experienced scientist to promote such ideas as above and make such a music for the end.

  • I love the idea that I can screwup now!!

    Plenty chances.

    I ain't doing sjit anymore.

  • I had an epiphany, If we think that any thing is impossible, we have already given up.

However, if we remove the limitation we have inherited and accepted, Any Thing is available to us, we just have to reach for it.

  • The Conscious Universe

The Universe as whole is Infinite/Energy/Vacuum

( Diracs sea ) T=0K. According to Quantum theory

the Vacuum gives birth to virtual/ energy particles who can change into real particles. And from these real particles were created everything in the World.

We are logical and conscious humans. Doesnt

it mean what the real particles and Vacuum also must be conscious ? ==========.

    Israel Sadovnik. Socratus

  • I remember reading that lol!

  • Damn! That song is funky!

  • Hey, thanks, I've always thought this would be a fun one to do live with a full band some day!

  • this guy needs to blink... he's a machine i knew it! skynet is taking over!!!!!

  • THIS IS GOING ON MY IPOD

  • This is bullshit, prove me wrong.

  • Prove that it is bullshit.

  • Stop accepting things just because 'experts' tell you its true. Think its wrong until its proved right!!

  • wouldnt it be better to be indifferent until it is proved true or untrue?

  • No. You wouldnt be 'indifferent' in a murder trial. In fact if you're 'indifferent' you're unlikely to find an answer

  • i think his point is, you could just as easily say its right until its proved wrong

  • i dont mean emotionally indifferent... i mean that to think something is wrong until it is proved right, is just as bad as thinking it is right until it is proved right (or wrong)... & it makes a lot more sense to be indifferent to its validity, acknowledging that it may be right or wrong, but taking neither side.

U seem to be suggesting that people are doing themselves a disservice by believing something to be true that isnt... but your alternative is potentially equally bad

  • accepting things wrong until its proven right, its the same as accepting things as right until proven wrong.

  • No, waldoistwisted, It's vice versa.

Think it's right until it's proved wrong. If you think it's wrong until its proved to be right, you don't believe in almost anything, because almost nothing is 100% proved.

  • Sorry but thats just stupid. Im the King of the universe, I suppose you'll have to assume I am until its proved wrong. "Watching TV cures cancer", with your logic we'll have to assume it does. Or maybe to say TV may cure cancer but until there is sufficient evidence we'll assume it doesnt, would make more sense.

  • This guy is an author, studies on the subject, has plenty of people cosigning his information and you still choose to whine about a youtube video? He is giving you the basics of quantum physics in kindergarden vocabulary/detail and yet you still manage to find a way to complain.

Sorry, what is your background on the subject again?

  • BSc in Physics from Edinburgh University

  • lol nice!

  • You knw nothing about scientific method. The maker of this vid will have to agree its purely theoretical and tht quantum physics is barely understood. If not he'll be laughed at by his peers. Oh and waldoistwisted just burned you...................

  • All I said was these videos are dumbed down completely and should not be taken as the final fact. He is giving you the bullet points of some research reports.

it's a 15 minute video that a highschool kid can understand, what is the point of arguing so hard about it?

  • Yeah I agree. My point isn't against the maker of this vid, its quite interesting and its pretty difficult to explain theoretical physics in a 15min video.

I just feel that it should almost carry an idiot warning at the start, not to make extreme assumptions about philosophy based on theoretical physics that people may briefly interpret.

My point was that people need to understand its not a fact and that they shouldnt base personal revelations on it...

  • Their simplicity does not detract from their validity.

  • So who told you the scientific method is perfect? Was created by humans is only a detrminated # of steps method, some things cant be explained by the scientific method, but doesnt means it is bullshit, they may be proven by another method still scientific not necesary your 8 steps bible.

  • the only reason we exist is because we are seperated from everything else ... when we become one with it - we know god and are all ... to imagine it ... is to go insane ... don't worry :P it's not easy - brains are not built to think about true infalible truth of nature

  • wtf are you talking abooot? these guys let there imaginations get the best of them. but i like it

  • This is bizarre. I'm not quite sure what to make of it all...

  • Damn Rob, you are a hoot! Keep up the good work!

  • fabulous thankyou

  • So you're stoned, watching YT, and eating pringles aswell, eh?

  • the song was really catchy

  • fud

  • Very nice work and creating a work that a semi-layman can jump into and enjoy. The music isn't bad either which was a nice surprise.

  • 10thdim, your voice is so suitable for public speaking :)

  • Wow, i love life. We have so much to learn!!!!

  • The Holographic Universe theory is quite compatible with a quantum gravity theory called Causal Dynamical Triangulation (see "Using Causality to Solve the Puzzle of Quantum Spacetime", Sci Am, June 25, 2008). A snippet: "Even those of us who specialize in quantum gravity can scarcely imagine how spacetime could smoothly change its dimension depending on the resolution of one's microscope. [from 4 down to 2 -- spacetime projected onto 2D. On the smallest scales things become fractal.]"

  • "can scarcely imagine" - in response to their shock and surprise that their own simulations of CDT revealed the smooth transition from 4D to 2D.

  • I think you've surpassed Bill Nine in terms of awesomeness. Don't tell Bill. :)

  • I have considered the idea of other dimensions and I find at least one more dimension necessary. My feeling is that one more dimension containing 'all possibility' would be enough, however it doesn't satisfy my desire for symmetry (who cares?) Another idea is our 3 dimensions mirrored by 3 other physical dimensions at right angles, along the asymptote of the time dimension - where time runs in reverse in those dimensions. Cause and effect and all physical laws are reversed - 7 dimensions.

  • Someone asked what you can do - I think I have an approach.

Begin to use the right side of your brain as much as possible - and alter your thinking to right side brain mechanics only.

That means - don't believe anything, and accept every piece of information as neither true nor false. I would love to see what impact this kind of thought process would have on a double slit experiment.

If your mind believes nothing you may be able to see more dimensions - but not using your eyes.

  • That's an interesting post. It is possible to see without the eyes by, in a sense, denying the environment as being true or false. I have a book called " A course in miracles", some of the lessons in the book are concerned with assigning no meaning to anything we normally view as tangible such as cups and tables etc. In essence, this is something we do everytime we sleep, consciousness logs out it's environment. When we sleep, the mind's eye sees things that the brain's eye doesn't.

  • That may sound contradictory but the mind's eye is what we visualise with, whereas the brain's eye is what we see with. It is possible to train yourself to achieve the 'log out' of consciousness while you're awake and enter a dream state of visualisation that allows you to see with the mind's eye, things that are not contained within the 3D sense of reality. It's impossible to believe nothing! No matter how hard we try and no matter how much we manage to deny/disbelieve, there is one thing

  • ... there is one thing that cannot be denied/disbelieved and that is the self. The self is the one thing you cannot escape from consciously. Consciousness can't deny it's own existence. So what are we left with to test your idea? My answer is meditaion and visualisation of the self separate from everything we know or believe to exist.Step outside of yourself mentally, practise it and see where it takes you.

  • the brain doesn't know which is reality and which is not, when you have something(a shape or so) in mind, the brain produces the same activity as we see the shape in real.

i gotta read that book :D

btw your opinion reminds me of the documentairy "What the bleep do we know"

  • You are somehow correct, but you don't need to say that the brain doesn't know what reality is.

If I see a tree, electrical impulses will travel to a specific part of my brain where they will be decoded and my Mind will perceive a tree. I can also imagine a tree and the same part of my brain will make me see the tree.

This means that reality is based on your own perception of reality and not what it is in itself. Reality expresses itself just because we are there to perceive it ;)

  • That means that we somehow could create our own dreamworld....maybe that's far down the rabbit hole :p

  • yup its called insanity. You should try to avoid doing that.

  • then what SHOULD we do?

  • work eat sleep have sex

  • No, reality is created specifically for us to perceive. A creator conciousness creates reality for us. We are individual parts of the creator, created to experience. Hence the creator can percieve his creation.

In the begining was the word and the word was with god, and god said let there be light. And there was light......

And god created the heavens and the earth etc.....

And when he was finished, he looked at his creation and called it good......

    Peace.....

  • True words brother! No matter what your 'belives; are you all cant deny this. I dont follow the 'mainstream' religions because most of it is Twisted truths and BS. But what you said here is simply the truth of our universe. We are all indeed a part of 'god' (i call it the life-force energy that connects everything together aka LOVE). We are all co creators and this universe is our stage to create our realities. Lets manifest a positive, peaceful future for this earth! our thoughts SHAPE reality!

  • We are all part of god and we are all god together. When we share everything then our true nature will be revealed to us. It will be acheived by peace and harmony between all concious beings.....

    Peace and Love......

  • What the hell are you babbling about? Did you write that while high?

  • Don't cast aspersions while babbling from a position of ignorance please....

When your personal revalation happens and you have the epiphany to end all epiphanies you will understand....

Or to put it simply, it's time for everyone to realise that we all share everything and everything is interdependent on this planet. We are all in the shit together, so what do you propose WE do about it.....

    Well?

  • I have been considering the nature of the vacuum - and have a theory it consists of plank length 'geometry' (not particles) that consist of 6 electron/positron (wave) pairs. This geometry is constantly collapsing - producing the noise described. Its alignment produces the electromagnetic fields, and it acts as a high pressure fluid (non uniform) creating gravity (buoyancy) and inertia (drag), wherein our particles are actually suspended singularities.

  • No CD, but the music can be downloaded as mp3s from the tenth dimension digital items store. Thanks!

    Rob

  • I wanted to unveil this theory as my first published work but it's hard to keep quiet. Dimensions aren't around eachother. The universes aren't round. The universe is. Everything is. It's all dimensional, right? Well as a number line is a dimension, our infinite and simultaneous dimensions are all at once infinite. There is no end of the universe and there is no end of life. Furthermore, there are no alternate universes outside of ours. They're in it. They're dimensions and dimensions just exist

  • This idea came from thinking of a videogame I played once. In the game, there were four dimensions. Length, width, depth, and another irrelevently named dimension. It doesn't matter what the name of the dimension is because it doesn't matter what any dimension is named. Dimensional names are only important to those of our league of existence. Anyway, you press a button to change the fourth value and as you do so, Other enemies are revealed. There is no change other than that. Just a difference

  • in dimension four. This is probably one of the clearest visualizations I can propose to you. The only other I think is a bit convoluted but simpler somehow. Imagine a three dimensional coordinate plane infinitely large. It is blue. Now, imagine it exists in a universe where objects can occupy the same space. Getting tougher now, there are also green, orange, pink, brown, black, white, gray, purple, burgundy and snickerdoodle versions of the imaginary plane in and of the blue one.

  • "...there are no alternate universes outside of ours. They're in it."

You mean all dimensions are interlaced, overlapping eachother? Kind of a superimposition in every direction? Like 3D fills the same space as 5D etc?

  • Thank you. That's precisely what I meant. I got a bad response when I posted it on ipower so I'm glad somebody got it.

  • well it does make sense that all dimensions should ultimately occupy the same space. Otherwise all dimensional planes would be separate, disconnected things. Analogy: The 10thDimension can't surely be like a set table where a fork represents 1D reality, a knife represents 2D reality, a spoon 3D, another fork 4D and so on. Surely they must all be as one but operating on different levels at once.

  • I'm no egg head, super phycisist but I try lol. If 3D reality occupies the same space as 5D, and 5D occupies the same space as 6D etc then maybe the lower dimensional plane has to stretch somehow to fit, as it were. Could this 'stretch to fit' be how we perceive the expansion of the Universe? Each dimensional reality expanding into the next? Maybe I'm overdoing this a little :P

  • Who knows. You may be on to something. There's really no way to tell from our point of view but we can still speculate.

  • since writing my last post I've seen 10thDim's hypercube animation, that stretches in a curious fashion, or it appears to anyway.

  • Nothing new here. Multi-dimensional theorists have this view: see "Calabi-Yau" on Wikipedia. Per the PHYSICAL multi-verse, there have been two modes of thinking for decades regarding superposition vs large-scale separation: see "Multiverse" on Wikipedia. Per the concept of universes from quantum probabilities, I've never heard it proposed otherwise than that they occupy the same multi-dimensional space yet are invisible to one another due to differences in physics. Welcome to quantum theory.
