Thanks Toon Boom! I got my training in Storyboard Pro on the Cleveland Show for Fox TV and have since used it on several projects including the New Ant and Aardvark show and Bob's Burgers.

I can't say enough great things about this software. I use it all the time when I'm working in house and its TERRIFIC! I'm definitely going to buy it for my home computer. Well, worth the money!!!

The storyboard artists job is to get into the director's head and illustrate the directors vision. The director always has input. In fact, a few of the directors I've worked with do their own rough thumbnails and then I add to it and redraw it. Others give me a detailed shot list. Some give me an idea, I do the shot breakdowns and then they give notes. Every project is different, which is what makes it so much fun.

I always wondered when you hire a storyboard artist do they just take your script and draw from that do you have any input on the scenes?

Its a Toshiba Tablet PC. I dont think that specific model is available. But there are many others one on the market.

I can draw though I'm not on a professional level that hasn't stopped me from improving and buying toonboom products. These products are awesome and are great for both PC and MAC users check 'em out!

Yes, works with Windows XP, Vista and Tablet PC as well as OSX PowerPC and Intel.

You need Storyboard Pro which enables you to export a QuickTimne movie.

They are drawing on a Wacom Cintiq tablet. You can use the smaller model also (Intuos).

I've just begun using the program, and it's very, very clean and surprising small on the hardrive and system processes for such a powerful program.

It's very intuitive, easy to use, and fun once you get over the shock of buttons everywhere!
