  • love it, they are great !

  • These guys are great, they do an amazing version of the old English sea shanty, Grey Funnel Line

  • Mandolin is played by Gordon Titcomb. Barry and Holly are fantastic performers. Check out their "Straw into Gold" It is one of my all time favorites.

  • Who is the mandolin player? Jimmy Gaudreau?

  • Wow!! This is excellent!! What great harmony, and guitar and mandolin pickin!!! Thanks so much for sharing this!!!5*****----Lee

  • Ah!!! Barry!!! Looking good!!! Though I am sad about this style of music.

  • Nice to see this old Ernest Tubb song revived.A superb version by these two.

  • Wow, I went to BU with this guy back in '60s. Back then he was basically a rock and roll guy and would play impromptu at the school. Even back then he was loaded with musical talent.

  • Barry has come a long way since the 6o's and Boston. He was the lead singer for the seminal rock band The Remains (they toured with the Beatles on the Beatles first tripto America) and Barry was instrumental in intoducing George Harrison to Buddhaism. He played as a rhythm guitarist in Emily Lou's Hot Band and he and Holly have been making graet music for a long time. They should be more widely known by the general public.

  • Well, I`m stunned, as a Country Music fan for over 50 years, i`m ashamed to say ,I have never heard of these two till now.i thought i knew them all..Radio in our Country only ever play trash. These two are absolutely awesome and deserve to be heard everywhere. Thank God for Youtube ! and thank you for posting.

  • @ageingtrucker I agree with you these two are great I just Love To Hear Them Thanks

  • Barry Tashian: Wow! What a performer!

  • What a great performance. I've loved you guys forever.

  • great melody and lovely play.

  • terrific - have been longtime Barry and Holly fan. Maybe this will get them back on the Opry? Hope so!

  • Fantastic! It's about time videos of this talented duo showed up here. They should have been members of the Opry years ago - they're that good.
