  • I build a wooden box on mine after the origal rusted off, 4"x 6" posts acrossed the frame!

  • sounds beautiful mate. ive got a 3.9 rover v8 in my lux. some vids of it on my channel.

    gotta love the v8

  • I want to keep a Toyota in my Toyota. this 1UZ has me thinking....

I don't like chevys, and too many people put chevys in Fj40's

  • 1UZ's sound so good, cool truck. I have a 94 4Runner that will soon be 1UZ powered.

  • sweet

  • It wasnt too bad but the chevy is narrower and i would believe it would fit better. Had another hilux with a Holden 3.8 v6 in it, I think you guys call it a buick? They have shitloads more torque than the lexus v8. look at my other vids for it. the v6 would spin 33inch tyres all the way through 3rd gear on the road where the lexus would barely do it through 1st

  • @evow0n Our V8 lexus hilux spins the 33inch like its nothing even with its auto box

  • @evow0n therefore the lexus is better , just shows how good lexus is made it wont just sit there spinning tires like chevy. The lexus v8 is more powerful.

  • @evow0n I would personally prefer the Lexus still, because it's Toyota :)

  • how hard do you think the swap was compared to doing a chevy smallblock, me and my dad want to put a 2uz from a sequoia in my 91 excab v6 4x4 , for more power and better mileage but keep it toyota.

  • nicee m8

  • I'm surprised no one ever does this here in the US. Over here, anytime someone puts a V8 into one of these, it's usually a Chevy 350.

  • What box you running mate? Did you stick with the G52 or use the tuff R151 box?

  • @benlyons83 running the factory lexus box mated to a prado transfer case. Autos are good, one less pedal and it saves the cv's

  • what exaust are you running?

  • @Dry8Ice standard headers into 2.5 inch then both into one 3 inch then a 3 inch cherry bomb muffler

  • @evow0n very nice, ive been doing research because ive been considering putting the 1uz in my yoter.

  • I want a tacoma with the Tundra's 5.7 (idk engine code) i-FORCE motor in it. that would be bad ass!

  • @Motorfordtoyota holy shit man! great minds think alike! i have been wanting to do that since then 5.7 came out! i was even thinkin of a first gen tundra reg cab long bed and customize it to be a short bed from a ext cab do a little lightning to make it llighter and add the 5.7 with the TRD blower.lower it a lil on sum lightweight wheels! wow. or even a early 2000s reg cab short bed 2wd with the blown 505hp 5.7 with a 6speed clutch! lets put our money together and do it! lol

  • @BLACKLACDTS haha, that would be so bad ass. hahaha. sweet!

  • @Motorfordtoyota actually if you type in 5.7 tacoma you will see a beast!

  • @BLACKLACDTS cool. Ill try that.

  • 15x10 rockchesters and just some small road tyres 33 x 12.5 inch Goodyear MTR's

  • What are those rims n tires?

  • Wow, that really sounds nice. Can't believe how mellow at idle, then so healthy when you rev it.

  • gotta love the 1UZ-FE's :o)

  • Sounds great!

  • nice... looks great. Bet it goes well too :)
