  • THE DRUMS!!!

  • I've been getting more and more into Doctor Who, and I find myself like it more as I watch it.

But... I STILL just can't take the Dalek's seriously. Even the new ones, the first time I saw them start to hover and fly I didn't shudder in fear, I laughed. Like I said, I still love the Doctor, but I have much more preferred villains of his.

  • @PTNLemay Well everyone is different. If its any consolation Jon Pertwee couldnt stand the Daleks either he preferred the human-like monsters. Me, I love them. (just not the brand new ones. (Shudder)) Glad you liked the trail and thanks for the comment.

  • I love these trailers. So cool

  • i was just thinking about what if this story never existed either. Like if they wiped it and it was still lost today. I'm sure this would be praised as the penultimate doctor who story of all time (because im sure if you just listened to it without watching it would be up there with Marco Polo etc. I think this story is fantastic but it seems to me nobody is really that fussed over it. Like its average. Does anyone disagree? This story needs for recognition IMO. Or does it have enough? :)

  • @MrClassicDoctorWho Have you been reading the latest DWM? They have the same discussion about the lost 108 episodes of the sixties. As a massive Troughton fan I am firmly in the camp of we have to find all these lost episodes somehow and enjoy them. I love this story its the second most important story in the whole of Doctor who history second only to The Unearthly Child. Its the story that put the series on the map and gave it the most important step to longtivity.

  • @cbatt91337 no i have not grabbed a copy yet. I'll get one tomorrow. Sounds interesting :)

  • I swear I posted a comment days ago when it just came out, but it's disapeared. It's really good. And is a Pro Level of Editing & Sound Engineering. Good work Cbatt. The Bit at the end was the icing on the Cake!

  • awsome work!! The music, sounds and editing just blew me away!

  • @biggerbaddaddy Thankyou i'm enjoying making them

  • Epic trailer for a truely epic story. A true 1960s classic and one of my many favs in the shows ongoing history in genral. Please tell me you have plans to do the Dalek Invasion of Earth next?

  • @TimelordTVRevolution I'm working on Revelation of the Daleks creepy trailer next, using the original music. One of the few stories whose music I would never change.

  • IT BLOODY WELL IS CREEPY!!! Its bloody terrifying. Great video battman

  • @drwhomasterfan Thankyou i'm sure the debate will go on and on.

  • blimey....looks the business. Just goes to show you dont need expensive editing suite to produce a polished edit. (mind you it helps if you know what you are doing! LOL!)

  • pretty good but i wouldent really call it creepy i mean its good but not the best maybe if i was a little kid i would be scared but watching this i not really scared atall

  • @FanboyD2 Fair enough next time i'll go creepier, even darker. I will make it my mission to creep you out LOL Thanks for the comment.

  • Hi Chris, the Daleks weird me out at the best of times but this makes them even more scary...! Great stuff..love the sound 'beats' especially! What do you use to cut this on? FCP or Avid?

  • @fergum10 Hi Mary Thanks for the comment. I don't have/cant afford Avid or FCP at home and am using Magix Movie Pro. Its a cheap and easy editing programme for around the £50 mark. I've used it for most of my vids on youtube.

  • very good. Really gives it a creepy atmosphere

  • @tardiselliot Thanks glad you enjoyed it
