@dcproductions you aren't actually making the mixes just playing them. But you can set it in auto play to dj a party. I'm assuming they will come out with an actual soundtrack soon

It's really not complicated at all they don't let ou play any songs until you have finished the training. The only thing j don't like is that on the mixer it has a little click so it clicks to place in the center. I find this a bit too weak and often find myself overshooting the center on to the nxt track. Other than that, this game is amazing!

I have real instruments, 5 guitars, bass, keyboards, recording studio, etc... I would never touch guitar hero. The only thing even partially worthwhile in GH is the drumming and vocals.

I just thought that DJ Hero might be an interesting way of mixing your own MP3's and fun for friends that aren't musically inclined. Maybe even good for parties.

Building a record collection and a serious actual DJ setup is time consuming and expensive. I know this because I used to sell pro DJ rigs.

I don't know about the game (never played any of the "Hero" series), but this mix between Rick James' Give It to Me Baby and Gwen Stefani's Hollaback Girl was very good (and I hate Gwen Stefani's garbage.) Whichever DJ prepared this track did a good work.

Are the other tracks in the game as good as this one? If so, you could buy this game just to play the songs at a party or a club (maybe even start a competition on place to spice things up).
