  • These are great!

    Thanks a ton! ^^

  • haha I imagine myself (I'm a girl) yelling all over the Japanese restaurant with an angry face "IRA IRA SURUUUUUUU" xD

  • Thanks

  • waku waku suru

  • cool arigatou ^^

  • i thought desu meant am...

  • @Kingofprinces85 In classes they teach you that desu mean am but not technically. Desu is something used at the end of a statement to make it a fact. It is polite.

  • @Kingofprinces85 desu can mean- am, is , are.

  • Can someone help me? I'm not sure how to pronounce "suru" because it sounds like she's saying "sudu" and sometimes in different Japanese words, it sounds like they are saying "lu" instead of "ru". Any help? Arigauto ~

  • @urusai2baka the only thing you can do is try a mix between R and L. That's my opinion...

  • @urusai2baka yes this quite hard to pronounce to most people. It is like a combiniation of the L and R sound

  • i always wonder what does "chikaimotamishimini" means !!!

  • @SmallHarryaWatLang2

this was answered in the comment section of the previous video^^

  • @SmallHarryaWatLang2 次回も楽しみに (jikai mo tanoshimi ni) "I am looking forward to next time"

  • What does matane mean?

  • @ashcatash5

it basically means "see you (later)"

  • @ashcatash5 mata ne means "see you later"

  • I have a question, can these be used as verbs, (since they end in suru)? For example,

anata o dokidokishimasuka? (Are you nervous?)

  • @LightOfThePleiades yes correct however o is suppose to be wa

  • sugoi! so great videos! i learn japanese at the moment (;

  • heres a tip mix Japines whith your english

  • thank you teacher

  • so waku waku japanese means exciting japanese? or something like that?

  • So you dont pronounce the U's

  • Ok, Thanks. Looking forward to seeing more videos from Sensei Konomi. My son loves them so far (he is 3 and speaks better Japanese than I do).

  • Where do I find all the videos. These are excellent for myself and my 3 year old (he can speak better Japanese than I can now). I want all the vids? Doko desukaaaa?

  • @theosakadude Thanks for watching! So far we've only put up the first 3 lessons, but we intend to release a new lesson each week. Our main website, japan society, will have all the episodes and our youtube channel as well (japansocietynyc)

  • good video, "ira" is anger in spanish too

  • These aren't Onomatopeia lol. They don't represent real life sounds by any means.

  • @sweetfeat1 these concepts don't really exist in english but i guess she didnt want to use words like:

    Phenomime (擬態語 gitaigo)

mimetic words to represent non-auditory senses.

Psychomime (also called 擬態語 gitaigo or 擬情語 gijōgo)

mimetic words that represent psychological states or bodily feelings.

But dokidoki can be said to mimic the sound of a heartbeat.

  • I really like your videos:) Please make more videos. Can you also try to pronounce a little slower it is hard to pronounce the big words in Lesson 1.

    Thank you

  • My friend iz Japanese nd she alwayz sayz どきどきする, when a boy we grew-up with talks to her。I study japanese but i never knew wut she meant by iht!!! Buht now I know!!! ありがとうございます!!!

  • How about a kana version? Peace.

  • I am interested in the Konomi's pronunciation. Her pronunciation of English is perfect and Japanese pronunciation, too. Her face muscle movement is the English speaker´s one but she can speak Japanese well. How can she divide in the muscle practice of English´s speaker and Japanese pronunciation?

  • Lolz "ira" in portugues is literaly anger so that made sence ^▽^

  • informative with such bright and pleasant presentation. please continue!

    i look forward to epsiode #3. ( ^ ^)

  • (Ai shiteru) this profile ;D

  • @arkutiaa Wouldn't that actually be "Purofairu dai suki desu"? "Aishite'ru" means "I love you". :)

  • @TheRipperPrince possible:) somebody can Russian language? Russian for me rather will be easier because it is in the same family of languages(Slavic)
