  • Dude your videos are AWESOME!!! The only thing I would change would be your text...can't read a thing....second....slow down.....have to use the pause button like crazy to catch up. Otherwise keep it up!!! :)

  • @synergeticink Lol sorry about the text, I really should've changed that after the first episode. As far as the speed, there was a lot to cover ;P lol.

Glad it helped you out! And (if you want) I will be explaining another Desktop Environment to thank all my subs x)

As far as which one: I left it up to them, so feel free to ask about anything you're curious about! I will personally look into it and make a vid!

  • I followed your steps trying to change the Close, minimize and maximise to the right hand side of the title bar, by following your video from 1:45 - 2:50, but nothing has happened. i really want to get them over to the right, any ideas?

  • @gg41r Not to be Captain Obvious here... but have you tried restarting?

  • @testingte Yeah, i tried rebooting the laptop....things remained the same tho.

  • @gg41r Ok.. what does it say under gconf?

  • @testingte you will have to excuse me....i literally had Ubuntu for only about 12 hours. Im not yet familiar with all the terms. All i can say is, i followed all the steps as per the video, and nothing changed. If worst comes to the worst...we will just have to manage with the buttons being on the left of the title bar :)

  • @gg41r I see the confusion then ;)

GNOME Shell has the buttons on the right of the title bar by default, the fact that you don't have it there means you may be using Unity. If that is the case, I refer you to my videos explaining on how to customize Unity. Hope that those help! :D

  • @testingte Thank you.....im not the most attentive person to such details to be honest. I shall have a look for your Unity video. Many thanx :)

  • @gg41r No problem mate! Thx for watching!

  • dont mind, but has someone told you that you talk too fast?

    seems like you are rapping?!!

  • @neo31591 Lol aye xD more than once.

Not the rapping though, that's a first! xD

Hope the links and video help out though!

  • @testingte they did..thanks!
