Keep playing your kiddy football and making money for the big boys like Texas and Alabama. Maybe one day you can come play but i doubt it you are not good enough to play for the title.

If the BCS is afraid of the host cities losing money, then they should have the playoff games there. Nice stadiums, and warmer weather. Plus, it would make everything easier in crowning a champion!

I'm a big longhorns fan, but if anything Utah got screwed the most this season because of the BCS. I really feel that a playoff series need to be implemented, because with so many teams having similar records how can they accuratley see that one team is better than another?

It just doesn't make much sense.

That's probably the biggest argument against the BCS. I'm not sure how they'd implement a playoff system... but you have to admit it'd be way more fair.

playoff is the best way to determine a champion for lots of reasons. 1. every other sport uses playoffs, even other divisions of college football. 2. u cant determine a true champion just based on opinions, especially if it comes from a computer 3. its just way more fair, and thats what i thought we all strived for. im personally for a 64 team playoff like basketball. size the season down to 10 games, have every conference play a championship game to determine a true champion, and then seed them

I like CowboyTD. i watch his videos about Texas because I like to get another view on Texas Sports besides the narrow minded Oklahoma Fans that like in Oklahoma. Because growing up in Oklahoma u just watch OU. Theres no other Pro teams or anything besides the OKC Thunder who suck and got here this year. And in Oklahoma theres not many Texas fans that i know at all! Because the Texas kids are usually the kids who get picked on at school. So I respect CowboyTD even though hes a Texas fan/ homer.

If the old system was in place, your Longhorns never would have gotten a shot at USC. They would have had a split title.

As for a playoff, there would always be the chance at an upset.

The real reason for a playoff is simple - to be fair. And don't give me that tired, "life isn't fair" line.

Unless 2 teams go undefeated and everyone else finishes w/ a loss, like in '05, it becomes a beauty contest. Judging who's loss is worse is entirely subjective, and leaving out an undefeated team is ludicrous. Why even have non-BCS conferences if the teams can't compete?

The only way to determine the "best" team in college fb is to let them play. Otherwise, it's just the prettiest team.
