Beautiful work. I just watched you at the conference in Chicago as well and was very impressed by your Oud skills as well. I wish some of your Oud work was here as well, but can't find any. I wonder if you have any recommendation for a quality Oud purchase. I have a Syrian Oud, but it's a bit different from the one you had in the conference, besides as you know it is not easy to find a quality Oud in the U.S., do you know a good source?

this is Iranian music and does not belong to any sect or cult, including bahaism. The true masters of this instrument are the recently deceased grand master Faramarzeh Payvar and again unforunately the recently deceased Parviz Meshkateeyan. You can find live performances by both on you tube.

Hi,

In Persian it is called 'Santoor'; in English it is called 'Hammered dulcimer'. According to many sources, it was invented by iranians.

These guys are great.
