My personal opinion is these sorts of protests don't help anyone, by taking pictures of scientologists you are infringing there rights to practise what they believe in, I'm not a Scientologist however have read some of Ron's books, would you stand at a Mosque or Catholic Church and protest in such manner, I think not and both religions have good and bad points!
you are right i would not stand outside a Mosque or catholic church and protest, but these religions do not tell their followers that they have to spend hundred of thousands of dollars to even read the religious text, or keep their members trapped in the religion if they want to leave. these sort of acts are what we are protesting.
It's not a religious issue: that's a red herring. It's about deceptive selling of products and services, and a long history of attacks on the human rights not only of its own members but people outside who criticise it. Look into it more and you'll see why people are upset about this corporation in particular.
Nothing we did was against the freedoms of the Scientologists: quite the contrary. Also, by warning the public against Scn we are saving them from potential ruin, both mental & financial.
Yes, it is possible, and most *do* leave, although depending on one's level of involvement the cost might be huge. Friends and family who are still in may be required to "Disconnect" from you (google "Disconnection"). Your "confidential" confessional files may be used against you. An extreme case was Lisa McPherson who told her family she wanted to leave and then was held in a locked, guarded room until she died. We support the freedom of individual Scientologists, including freedom to leave.
No I wouldn't worry. They try to claim you've signed away all sorts of rights, but that's just another lie. You might get some junk mail, but that's it.
Great vid, loved it. I think you did scare that scientologist. He was pretty fast getting in.

Can I ask something should somebody become involved with Scn, is it really impossible to become unattached?
