I really loved this movie,it catches the internal struggle in the heart of one who knows to much, and is on the edge. And also Puts the voices of the collective abrahamic religions as a counted point.Today is a painful time in the lives of the little people from times before, anyone can get to the literary truths of what is real and not, this film is on the cutting edge of this new wave of understanding theology.
This movie was AWESOME. No distractions via action, or car chases, or beautiful people just...dialogue, reactions, facial expressions. These two actors bounced off of each other like protons and neutrons, it was cosmic. The story itself?...Are where people are in their lives. It IS Black & White, it IS Belief or Unbdelief, it IS a choice to view the world the way you want to, or the way it is, It IS a choice to live...or die. Never have I seen a film that asks those questions like this one did.
whats that supposed to mean, im presuming that your infuring that my comments are nonsensical and retarded, if im right who the fuck are you to tell me what my opinions and thoughts should be in order to please you if so go fuck your sorry self faggot, if not well apologize. @SONOFABITCH
oh how clever you have another account with an even more stupid name, listen i have never stated that im an intellectual but judging from your comments neither are you, your probably some depressive negative atheist who shares the views of the Lee jones character and thats fine and if your life is so shallow that a mere screen name grips your interest well good luck with that. i have my views and opinions and the movie moved me to comment. continued
my comment wasnt offensive or controversial in anyway and i dont give a damn what some loser miles away from me thinks if you want an augument i will give you one just try being less vague and up your own ass
@ifeelrelaxed God bless HBO for having the guts to take one such a blatantly non-commercial story with two terrifically talented actors and Jones's superb direction. An artsy, philosophical Bergman-esque chamber piece that would almost never get made in today's day and age finds its way to cable. Go HBO! Thanks for offering up an intelligent bit of intellectual alternative programming! Great to see good art still finding a place.
