John, I was at GT-34 in Hot Springs and heard about the shop closing. I want to say what a pleasure it's been to know you and Carolyn all these 30+ years, and wish you both the best always. Thanks for everything. Rick Green
You are a true gem, John. Though my project isn't even on the road yet, it's a damn sight closer to it thanks to your knowledge and generosity. Best of luck to you and those you love in everything you do. And if you do decide to continue to keep posting, please let us all know!
John, I stopped by last Thursday to buy a starter for my B. I was so sad to see you had closed! Thanks for the years of great service. I always appreciate your valuable information and excellent service.
John, just bought MGB GT 79 here in Ireland two weeks ago and learned so much from your videos already.............maybe you could compile them onto a DVD and sell it ? Sorry that your business has finished up......take care
Thanks John. Though I live hundreds of miles from your shop, you have helped me set timing, and given me a better understanding of my carburettors. You are a great educator. Thanks for sharing your passion through these videos. Best of luck for the future.
John: I've followed you for about 25 years. Your tech tip;s and know how are the best. I hope you continue making MG videos. You will always be a reminder of what car repair shops used to be; personalized, humanized and folksy. When I was a kid I used to watch MG mechanics like yourself and marvel at their skills and camaraderie. John, thanks again for keeping the MG Spirit in America alive and well all these years. Please do not drive off into the sunset. Get young people going w/ these cars.
John, you are such a good man, whos welling to help and teach people, I 've learned so many things from your site and your youtube videos, you should be proud of yourself.
