  • he just said who hes looking out for, the COMPANY as in INSURANCE companies.

  • It is kind of funny that Steele said at 6:24 best interest of the company then corrected himself and said Country. Maybe he meant insurance companies.

.. Setting payment rates in the MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PROGRAM on the basis of Medicare spending! (SAVING $170 BILLION)

  • This bill ask for more freedom. Give me just a little more of your freedom, and I'll make it all better. Let me force you to purchase health insurance. Let me decide what you'll buy and use price controls to set the premiums. Let me add to your tax burden with yet another failing government program. Let government bureaucrats decide whether you and your loved ones get the treatment you want.

We can achieve so much, the president beams. All I need is just a little more of your freedom.

  • This plan will raise premiums on all and raise taxes on cadilac plans that will cost all of us. The public option is just an expantion of medicare which will be broke in a few short years. Medicare waste $1 to every $3 it spends. Taxpayers pay for that waste. A big part of our high premiums are due to medicare short falls.

We need to get government out of healthcare and let the consumers control the dollars which in turn will control cost.

  • uh no... ur info is in correct. medicare waist less than private insurance. private insurance is up 47% medicad only 32%. private insurance rates are up 400% up double digits in cost since 2004. Medicad will go broke ONLY because salaries of mid income earners hasn't moved because all of the money is being horded up to the top 5%. which cutsoff te amount people will give to the system because we work more and earn LESS. Even you have to admit the incomes and benefits are severly down.

  • We need reform but not an expansion of medicare/medicaid. Medicare enables each generation to take more from the young to give to the old. It is responsible for a dozen tax increases in its 43 yr exisistence. As the population is aging it will become unsustainable. To keep it going income taxes would have almost double w/ top rates at 66%. That will cut income by 20%. Medicare waste far more in fraud and abuse then private sector. Last year alone est. were 80 to 250 billion.

  • "this health care is not in the best interest of the company"

  • take steels health care away

    let's se what he does

  • "i don't believe this kind of reform is in the best interest of the COMPANY "...lol freudian slip...."come on shep you know i'm not a talking points guy "....LMAO....fuckin lying asshole....who is fooled by steele's weak ass shit....i'm 23 years old and his bullshit doesn't get by me....why are so many "old people" aka real adults fooled by his nonsense....glad to see shep smith at least call him on it

  • LMAO OWNED...by shep smith....i love how steele looks stunned...and then tries to talk over shep to keep the fox viewers from hearing the truth....republicans and blue dog democrats are OWNED by the insurance industry.....that is a FACT...and steele calls that a "democrat" talking point....fucking DUMBASS

  • HUH? Steele says we need a "bottom up strategy"? What ever happened to "trickle down" theory? These guys are confusing.

  • Shep is a dumbass.

    BROKEN PROMISES BY OBAMA

    "Transparency"

obama.. "I will bring all parties together, & NOT negotiate behind closed doors, & broadcast those negotiations on C-SPAN so that the American people can see what the choices are."

Obama has announced deals with groups like the pharmaceutical industry & the insurance industry after they were worked out in backroom deals.

Meanwhile, Baucus, not only shut out the public, but shut out most of his own committee from his "bipartisan negotiations."

  • You don't negotiate contracts on TV, for the simple fact that negotiations don't happen that way.

It's the same reason athletes negotiate deals in private and that the Collective Bargaining Agreement was even written in the first place.

Both sides can save face, while still being candid to one another in negotiations, and people end up seeing what they really cared about, a deal being made, without the sausage process to get there.

  • Scary we are giving government control over healthcare when they are attempting to mandate an untried flu shot. We would become the governments guinne pigs.

  • Calif,

What better ways for obamer to control health care costs than by killing off a few million Americans with just one simple shot! LOL

  • And I hope you do realize that the government (gasp!) makes a new flu vaccine every year, in much the same process as the H1N1 vaccine was made.

    lol

  • CBS NEWS

    BROKEN PROMISES BY OBAMA

"NO individual mandate to buy health insurance!"

    Jan. 31, 2008...

obama... "I think we can anticipate that there would be people potentially who are not covered & are actually HURT if they have ***a mandate imposed*** on them."

    In June 2009...

obama indicated in a letter to Kennedy & Sen. Max Baucus that he was changing his tune to ***accommodate Congress*** on the proposed bills that CALL for an ***individual mandates***!

  • QUick answer: legislation process

If the bill put forth include all the provisions to aid citizens, without the individual mandate, the insurance lobby, along with Dick Armey and big Pharma, would've thrown every bomb they had into the works and probably killed the movement of the legislation in July.

simply the give and take of the process

  • Scipio

And the "big Pharmecuticals" ARE already involved with obamer!

    LA Times

"Tauzin (Chief Pharmaceutical Lobbyist) secured an agreement with OBAMA!

In return for pledging $80 billion in cost savings over 10 years, the OBAMA administration has promised to BACK OFF FROM PRICE-SETTING on the Medicare Part D drug program as well as from importing cheaper drugs from Canada or Europe!"

And with obamer getting $90 MILLION from lawyers for his campaign, NO WONDER tort reform isn't mentioned!

  • An $80 billion cut, over ten years, in addition to an agreement to support the legislative process or no such deal in place, with the far left trying to scalp the pharmaceuticals, while "Big Pharma" launches a massive ad campaign, trying to destroy the entire process.

I don't know about you, but I have a plan to, wait for it, actually govern for once, I take the deal and move the process forward.

And with tort reform, you miss the fact that most states already have some level of caps.

    lol

  • The Democrats, at this moment, have a stranglehold on the House, control of the Senate, and have a Democrat in the White House.

If healthcare, the #1 priority in the Caucus this year, doesn't get through now, IMO, the Democrats will be seen as inept, get crushed in the next two cycles, never to be a governing majority for the rest of this generation.

Obama's doing his darnedest to not let that happen.

If you want to be the left's CubForGrowth, so be it.

I want to see Democrats govern.

  • scip,

the small cut of $80 Billion does NOT say anything about the 7 years of TAXATION to "front load" the cost of this bill that won't start until 2016/2017. Missed that one?

And what do you say to obamer's deal with the Pharma lobbyists to keep prices higher???

And did YOU also miss the 90 million given to obamer alone by lawyers to keep TORT Reform out of the bills?

Time to catch up on the news.. don't ya think?

  • lol

Call it what you want to call it, but between Thanksgiving and New Years Day, IMO, President Obama is going to have a health bill on his desk to sign, that includes many of the protections that Democrats have been championing for years, and that "small" $80 billion cut in drug payments and the "front load of taxation" would've been some of the primary reasons why the legislation makes it to his desk.

    have fun.

  • scipio,

Well, not so fast! Your OWN party is STILL fighint among themselves... so it could be well into next year if at all!

But the Blue Dogs are still VERY concerned about loosing their seats next year.. as they know.. the majority of the American people do NOT want this and will in 2010 & 2012 turn power over to the GOP!

But it IS fun to watch the Democrats implode! LMAO!!!

  • The fact of the matter is, in a perfect world, the House Speaker would hold off a vote on their legislation until the Senate passes their bill, giving some needed cover to those vulnerable Democrats in the House. Unfortunately, that looks like it isn't going to happen, leaving Pelosi to find a way to get 218 vote without putting many conservative Democrats out on the limb.

  • The Senate bill, in all likelihood, is going to look like Baucus' bill, with the addition of the elimination of the anti-trust exemption for insurers, a little bit of extra help for the poor, and a trigger to Sen. Carper's idea of a public option, where states, if it is deemed that reforms and private insurance alone hasn't done enough to control costs, can opt into a program where they can negotiate a public option for their state.

  • What's funniest about your statement is that over 60% of the public believes that reform needs to happen.

And what's even funnier is that if the Democrats are able to get healthcare insurance reform passed and the new financial rules before 2010, and some serious energy legislation along with a way to make Social Secuirty and Medicare more stable, while doing some real work to balance the budget by 2012, the Republicans will be in the minority for a long time.

    have fun

  • scipio,

Well, nice try to support your agenda, but far from being the truth... but obamer has that same problem telling the truth! lol

    Polls continue to show

    50% oppose the plan!

    44% favor the plan!

HOWEVER...(and here's the Democrats big problem for next year's elections!)

    The Associated Press Reports show...

only 29% of ***independents*** currently support the plans in Congress!

In short.. if the Dems shove this down America's throat... the elections will NOT be in their favor!

  • And on your wildest imagination, there is NO ONE that can possibly believe that obamer will balance ANY budget or deal with the $11.9 TRILLION deficit by 2012 or ANY year!

The "current" spending spree obamer & the Democrats are dreaming of consists of $4,700,000,000,000.00 in NEW SPENDING over the NEXT YEAR with the course clearly showing that the NATIONAL DEBT by 2019 to be right at $20,000,000,000,000.00!

But you don't seem to mind leaving massive debt to our children... do you?

  • bigtex- when you typed out = $4,700,000,000,000.00..I may be wrong but I "feel" a little TAX comin to a mailbox near me! .....hey I am going around looking for simple bargins everyday. Sometimes using coupons or going to FREE days at The State Fair. And OWE-bummer is telling me that GINORMOUS figure will cost me "not a dime more".....lol!.......Yep! he's keepin his word! It is not gonna cost me one dime more. It's gonna cost me THOUSANDS more! And from here I can see the ~Tsunami comin~

  • MeMa,

LMAO!!!! YOU kill me!!!!! But on the "mailbox" thing... do like I did and TAKE IT DOWN!!!!

If they can't deliver the mail, then we don't have to give unto the "messiah", right?

And yes, obamer's not after your "dime"!!!

He's after your ENTIRE earnings! Hell with the "dime",....go for the BIG BUCKS!!!!

  • bigtex - sadly I think that when the last thin dimes are all gone. Obama will do what all Lawyers do when they need more=Funding! And that would be to TAKE all people's= Estates! First any heirs with an Estate worth more than ~magic~ $250,000? $200,000? The rest will be taken away. (Fer the good of the Liberal Land of the Loons & Lying By Ommision Commision"...(new name & Czar!) and then we will see all those ranches and cabins and property TAKEN! It's called = Generational THEFT! & Obama likkee

  • lol

And the fact that you continue to acknowledge the current president of the United States as "obamer" underscores the fact that you refuse to have an actually discussion, of anything, on their merits.

Have fun listening to your Rush and Beck, and continue to live your life as you see fit.

Just have fun being in the governing minority for the current future.

    enjoy yourself.

  • scipio,

Hey, I was using.. "The "Pestilence" of the United States", but it took up so much more room than obamer!

But I think your problem is nothing as you say.. but MORE that you don't like the facts that your party is imploding.. has lied, and has used deceptive practices to FORCE America into the socialistic society THEY, and ONLY THEY want!

You're worried about me calling obamer.. obamer.. but I'm worried about the FREEDOMS you liberals are trying to take from We The People!

    HND! LOL

  • There r currently 2 bills in the senate.. One billwill tax top earners over 1 million for health care then which the republicans are against.. the one presented by the republicans will tax premium health plans instead to offset cost. I'm stll reading HR 3200 and havent read the admendments from the Senate yet to see how tax preiums will effect seriously ill patiencts who often have high rates anyway and on the verge of backruptcy because of it..If u have time go to library of congree to read it

  • Nuum,

I HAVE read H.R. 3200 AND 3962 to include the reports from Congressional Budget Office and Congressional Research Service!

I have ALSO compaired campaign promises made in 2008 and how they've been BROKEN over and over again!!!!

But you want to know more?

Watch for the postings I'll have on here... then YOU decide for yourself!!!

  • I am sure Baucus is just taking dictation from the communists that wrote the bailout. I'm sure this bill was written a long time ago. The real bill was written behind closed doors by the czars.

  • Caif,

Agreed! So much for obamer's and the Democrat's version of....

    TRANSPARENCY!

  • Shep is an idoit. Public option creates NO OPTION. Private health care will be driven out. Remember Obama saying he would allow clean coal...but would tax them out of existance? This is around the corner in health care. Public option will create a government monopoly. This robs money from Medicare when Medicare has increasing numbers of people joining each year and has the biggest denial of healthcare for preexisting conditions.

  • Calif,

Too true! And obamer's already pulling Billions from Medicare! I guess obamer figures if he can pull money away from seniors...kill off a few million... then he'll have MORE MONEY to fund his personal agenda!

And Medicare DOES have the HIGHEST denial rate of all at 6.9% over ALL the insurance industry!

And this clowns want to FORCE Americans into this????

  • Shep is an asshole. Government health care will keep the cost down Shep? You stupid bastard.

  • jmspflw - "Government health care will keep the cost down?"

    Based on the evidence yes.

    1) There are 36 other countries in the world with higher quality health care systems than the United States.

    2) All of them are universal government run systems.

    3) All of them are less expensive per capita and as a % of GDP than the United States system

    4) The United States is THE MOST EXPENSIVE system in the world.

... so the simple answer is ... YES.

  • Hass,

    The simple answer is... NO!

You kinda left out the MASSIVE TAXATION that "other countries" have! Ooooops!

    France

    Corporate Tax 33%.

    Individual Tax 0 to 50%.

    Payroll tax 45%.

    VAT (National Sales Tax) 20%

But NOT to worry... Nancy Pelosi is working on giving America our OWN National Sales Tax like the other countries to be ADDED to the top of existing taxes to pay for these "entitlement" programs!

  • In all fairness to the numbers, the tax level for most French is around 60%, quite steep but, I assume, they pay for what they get, and they receive quite a few services.

Still, the tax rate in the U.S. isn't that much lower already.

Once you add together federal income tax, state income tax, property taxes, investment/capital gains tax, the typical sales tax, and other taxes in the system, most people are paying out 40%-55% in total taxes, for far less services.

  • scipio, Probably an easy way to compare the taxation of the various countries is by the.... **TAX FREEDOM DAYS** US... April 13th Spain.... May 21st UK.... May 14th Canada.. June 6th Germany..July 8th France... July 16th Sweden July 29th So does the U.S. want to follow Canada, the UK, France that so many have been using as examples???? I for one do NOT!
  • Bigtex501,

The simple answer is still ... YES!

Are you a simpleton? How exactly do you think they determine the cost of healthcare in those countries with out taking into account the mechanism to pay for it?

Yup, you're the only one to figure out that taxes are also money ... just you ... because your special, it says so right there on the little bus that drives you places. Thank god and the sweet baby Jebus for smart people like you that can see the obvious. Taxes? Didn't god make the roads?

  • Hass,

Thanks for proving MY POINT! LOL

    TAXES for everyone!

But YOU are ok with obamer's broken promises?

"I will CUT taxes for 95% of the American people."

"NO additional tax on people making less than $250,000 a year. Not income tax, not capital gains taxes, not any kind of tax."

"The middle class will realize greater health security, not higher taxes"

"I will not raise taxes on middle & low income people.. NOT even by a dime."

"I endorse an individual mandate with a tax penalty"

  • bigtex501 - no one with any comman sense & "critical thinking" .....can see the McBudget that Obama thinks we will ACCEPT?.....like robbin gammie health care resource & living resources= Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid......& think that we should dump those needed dollars into=CRAP CARE - '"EVERYONE take a number & get in line!"" (Nurse on BULL-Horn is ER with US sittin on the dirty floor!) ....& poor gammie is back home- no social security check and a letter from Obama = "GOOD LUCK!" gammie!

  • MeMa,

Therein is the problem... getting the liberals to "think"!!!!

And forget needing nurses in the E.R...

just keep a HURST and the CORONER there and he'll be the one taking care of patients under obamer Care!

  • bigtex501 - that HURST?........there is one seen on YouTube video:.....Obama Care Official Pacecar- Czar Car................(hysterical!! ~~ when it comes out of the ~~fog and reveals itself ..........wish I was at a Halloween Party and could drive around town in it with others!!!!...)

  • MeMa,

There is a video??? I'll have to find it when I get a chance! Thanks! Sounds funny!!!!

  • hassl, Then take your sorry ass to China if you don't like government health care here.

  • Did I just hear Mr Steele just say give everyone medicaid who could not afford insurance?

  • Steele's mispeak at 6:23 tells this story as it is. .

  • hahaha. Yeah. Freudian slip. I was just about to say that myself.

  • love Shep!

  • Shep, you'd better watch it. You're really starting to piss off Mr.Murdock with your annoying questioning of right-wing hardliners and GOP ideology.

Remember: Your job is not to inform - it's to disinform, cover up, smear, lie and toe the company line.

  • And as for your question about if i believe? If I believe what? I would much rather get the facts than get a "skewed" version of the facts. That's why people choose fox. I also read websites that aren't left or right leaning. That is all fox is talking about. Be presented with the facts and decide for yourself. I prefer to get my information where I can decide for myself & not have to be told how to think or feel about it. That is the difference between them and the other cable/tv news stations

  • I wish i knew what you guys were talking about. Do you watch Fox or not? I am just trying to answer the question about Shep Smith. He makes no bones about it that he is a more liberal left thinking than republican right thinking. And people were saying that fox might fire him for that. If you watched fox news you would know that and wouldn't have to make the insinuation that he will be fired. Fox knows who Shep Smith is - he would have been gone a long time ago if there was a problem.

  • Scrotee..keep ~swigin~ that Nyquil buddy

  • Again - words + coherent thought make a SENTENCE!

I still don't know what you are trying to say.....

  • To answer the questions....Yes this is Shepard Smith. So for all of you who think that Fox news is an arm of the Republican party - you have just found out for yourself that is not a true statement. Right? Well-that is the accusation coming out of Obamas white house. This is a fair representation of Shepard Smith. The slogan for Fox is "We report, you decide." Gee-are you starting to get why people watch it now? If you want real news - watch FOX.

  • Feeling more delusional than usual I see, scootie..

  • Actually - they made an attempt-and at every turn senators like Barack Obama-blocked EVERY ATTEMPT. Why? The reason is they didn't want any reforms that could attempt to IMPROVE the health cae system. Setting them up for everything that is happening right now...An attempt to take over the health insurance dollars. Government single payer. That is the endgame for the democrats. Why vote to improve something? Block it until you can get what you want rammed through.

  • Scooter ! .....you are not trying to use "critical thinking" and some Truth? Are you?........I heard for the 1 fraudgillionth time "no Republicans have ideas or programs"...."they have= NOTHIN!" .?...lol!.........then on FOX you see Senators who have attempted to bring some reason and HELP to the country and they are = SHUT OUT!!!! ......just like Obama did this morning with his "secret DIM woodshed" meeting = For Dims ONLY!...?? thats creppy and score another one for the Chicago Grifters club

  • uh oh

here come the black helicopters for you, memama

  • Mama - I would be happy to reply to your post if I could understand one bit of it.

  • Good lord, scootie, I think you might actually believe that codswallop.

    You poor thing.

  • his platform is.... Do nothing, my buds are making a lot of money.

  • 6:20, exactly.

  • Bridge to sell? Where Palin?

  • Shep better be careful questioning Republicans, Fox might fire him.

  • does anyone know if shep is always like this? I'd like to see republicans when they feel they will be protected. It would be interesting.

  • I think Steele was very confused about Shep's "foot rotting" comment. He needs to do more reading.

Diabetes: an affliction that effects 26 million Americans. Even worse, it has a 2-4x greater prevalence among African Americans. No way he could have known that of course, when talking about a health care and health care reform...

  • Wow, quite remarkably Fair & Balanced for FauX News.

think Shep Smith will be canned?

  • I'll give him 3 weeks.

  • Shep Smith is the ONLY good thing over at FOXnews. That was some BRILLIANT interviewing.

  • 6:20

"We don't believe that this is the kind of health care reform that is in the best interest of the COMPANY.. eh the country"

Haha, way to slip your real masters.

  • Don't have the time or energy to read all the comments so someone may have asked this already but do you think it was a Freudian thing at around 6:20 when he said, "We don't believe that this is the right kind of reform that is going to be in the best interest of the company... uh... country..."

  • Right now it looks like the GOP will lose between 3 to 7 more Senate seats in 2010.

The loss will be blamed on Steele & he will be immediately fired.

Even the GOP in Texas has got Hutchinson to delay her resignation because the GOP realizes they can't win a Special Senate Election in Texas

  • BullSh_t!!! WE WANT HEALTH CARE INSURANCE REFORM!!! You people are all in somebody's pocketbook - your masters tell you to bow and you do! Instead of lowering our cost of living, you work against us, both Dems and Reps, both sides of "the isle"! You people suck! Steele, your an ASS!

  • go Shep

  • "im not a talking point guy"

iced tea litterally just flew out of my mouth on to my screen...

  • the lack of logic is staggering...

polls show americans want a public option....

to steele, the fact that americans want a public option....essentially means that a public option is not the kind of reform americans want...

im not shocked by this...but how does everyone not see how ridiculous he is...

  • "i got a bridge to sell you as well." huh? nice comeback to "the polls show that americans want a public option"

  • yea good comeback...

leave it to steele to remind people of the two REPUBLICANS

  • sorry hit enter on accident...

the two REPUBLICANS, stevens and young, who suppported the pork barrel bridge to nowhere project...

hahaha...obviously thats an older expression. but that def reminds me of the bridge to nowhere. hes such a fuckin moron

  • ya i googled it, apparently it's obama's line about the bridge and how repubs support corporations that just want profits. lol at how he used it.

  • I'm really having more and more respect for Shep... he must really get hell over at Fox.

  • 6:20 is going to make a great sound bite.

  • "...not in the best interest of the company..." Priceless...! Freudian slip? hahaha

  • The US could have insured every man woman and child in the US with the TRILLIONS that have been TRANSFERRED up to just one percent of the nation via GOP 'tax cuts' that were SUPPOSED to have trickled down and stimulated the economy BUT DID NOT.

The GOP is so full of shit!

Regan, for example, TRIPLED THE DEFICIT which ushered in a two year long depression when the ELITES put the windfall in offshore accounts.

That was MONEY forever lost to the US economy.

    GET A FUCKIN CLUE.

  • lol, fraudulent slip @ 6:20

  • "I got a bridge to sell you" it's like their mantra.. when confronted with a fact against the GOP agenda it's always the same line, no matter which talking head

  • Lets address the corruption CONTROLLING the cost

  • Am I wrong in saying that Shepard Smith seems to be the only legitimate newsman at Fox News?

  • 6:20 FREUDIAN SLIP

  • seriously. that was pretty telling. lol

  • "Freudian" no, TRUTH by accident, yes

  • Shep is gold.

  • he may be half black but i can see right thru him.....he is translucent.

  • Shep is constantly surprising me! He seems like the only sane anchor on Fox.

Also he pwaned the shit out of Steel.

  • Just imagine a channel consisting of Joe Scarborough, Dylan Ratigan, Carlos Watson, Shep Smith, Chris Matthews, Cenk Uugar, Rachel Maddow, and Anderson Cooper, at the crux of the lineup. From right to left, one of the strongest informational lineups on cable TV.

I have no idea how the ratings of the channel would do, but it'd be fun to see.

  • Actually, scratch Cenk.

  • lol

Up until 2-3 weeks ago, Cenk would've been on the list, without question.

But trying to insinuate that, somehow, Warren Buffet, arguably the best financial player in the world and a pure capitalist, somehow leveraged an administration to make his money? Really?

Cenk's been on shaky ground for a bit, but that pushed it over. sue me

  • When you republicans were in power you were all for privatizing social security. Cue the crickets on health care, assholes.

  • People who simply repeat "the fact of the matter" is this and "the reality of the situation" is that--without spewing anything more than unsupported assertions and references to "the playing field" and to "the fingers in the pie" are a WASTE of airwaves.

I should know better. When that Fox "News" icon is rotating onscreen, I might as well be watching a sitcom. I'd be just as informed about the world.

  • "We don't believe this is the kind of health care reform that's in the best interests of the company- ... country."

    RED- FUCKING- HANDED.

  • I've never heard such a blatant freudian slip.

  • Company, er, Country. Clear as day.

  • It can't be long before a real news network offers Shep a job. Fox can't be giving him the millions that they trow at Beck since he's not a fucking lunatic. And the sleazy liar spot is already filled by Hannity. That only leaves the arrogant liar and the hopelessly uneducated liar. Oh wait, that's O Reilly and Steve Doocy. Yeah, there's no room for promotion over at Fox. Shep could go to the Cartoon Network and it would be a journalistic step up from where he is.

  • "Republicans want reform"-really? Since when? Why has there never been any effort, over decades ,by the GOP to alter healthcare, other than trying to block Medicare and other government safety nets.....talk about a bridge to be sold

  • Man - Shep schooled him. The GOP put themselves in the corner by choosing Steele because now they worry that replacing him would cement the racist charge....karma is a bitch

  • Shep is the only respectable person on Fox News. I guess Michael Steele forgot that he was on the only show on Fox where he would get called out on his BS.

  • THE COMPANY...MKAY?

  • Steele is so embarrassing, he just makes me cringe. Shep destroyed him.

  • Shep just took Steele to school.

  • LOL Omg.. OMG..

    Shep!? WOW

  • Steele is an idiot...I sure hope they don't fire him :)

  • i would like to hear more about this bridge he's selling.

  • word Innize,

"We know it's not in the best interest of the COMPANY"

    !!!!

  • "We know it's not in the best interest of the company"

FREUDIAN SLIP, MR. STEELE. FUCK YOU.

  • a freudian slip indeed lol...gotcha goofball Steele

  • "You know me, I'm not a talking point guy"... LOL!!!!! FUNNIEST THING I HEARD TODAY!

  • 800 or so bills? WTF? Steele is an idiot!

  • Steele:

5:03 'Humans are the flaw in the system of profit generation'

6:20 (freudian slip) 'Reform is not good for insurance companies'

  • "best interest of the companies.....country" also known as a Freudian slips.

  • 6:20-6:24

You all heard him say it! He's only in it for the best interest of the companies!!!!

  • can anyone tell me what the republican plan is? cause all I here is that we are going to fix it from bottom up but no plan is put forward. please enlighten me.

  • If you don't know by now what the Republican plan for health care is then you need to question who's spoon feeding you the news. If you're getting all your information from one of the Obama cheerleader networks then you have much bigger issues.

One of the far-left fringe networks outside the mainstream media seem best suited for you kool-aid drinking, Obama cult followers.

  • So what's the republican plan then?

    Would you please answer it?

  • freudian slip at 6:23 by steele "...best interest of this company" LOL

  • But you know him, he is not a talking points kind of guy. This is how he honestly feels,

  • Republican reps think they'll get points for attacking the president. But for the majority of us who actually think he's doing a good job given the circumstances, we just see irrational, obstructionist hatred.

  • Steele is a Clownator

  • go round up some teabaggers and start a circus on some street corner. thats about the best you and the rest of the crazy minority can accomplish

  • hell is starting to get chilly - i'm enjoying it

  • Why is Mississippian Shep starting to act far left. The guy is a doosh. Since he cussed on air in the spring and later bashed Conservatives after a shooting in Washington DC I don't watch him. I used to think he was great and now I think he is cuckoo for coco puffs and it comes after he was all happy about making it thru 13 years on Fox News. Problem is he acts like an idiot sometimes and I am taken aback by his lunatics. Shep has no brain.

  • shep is one of the few with a brain on fox news

  • hey everybody, I'm with ya on the health care thing (esp. public option being a good idea) but at this point we all know that the stereotypical GOP talking points are pretty worthless except to the 30% or so of the US that claims to be a Republican. However hateful name-calling does not forward good ideas. Some day, if we don't watch it, the GOP will use it against us. It will poison the Democratic Party the way the same thing has been poisoning the Republican Party for the past 20 yrs. Love

  • Ge said it in that Freudian slip "This isn't in the best interest of the company....er...country" We know who the Repub party is working for

  • Shep's gonna get fired soon!!

  • watch the last 30 seconds to see Steele's lame ass slipping in of his scare tactic talking points "broad government grab" and not good for his "mother" and himself... way to try and go back to the death panel bullshit... At least Shep is acting as the only "fair and balanced" person on the network, will it last?

  • I know what is best for YOU.

That is egotism at its best.

  • shep trying to get fired?

  • I'm impressed with Shep. I can't believe someone with a brain in his head and a decent soul actually works at Fox.

  • I think O'Reilly has decent soul too, even though he is a jerk.

Thing is, Studio B is supposed to be a news show, and the host is not supposed to take positions, but ask illuminating questions and moderate the guests. Fox's journalistic standards are a joke.

  • You know, I agree with you. I like O'Reilly - I just hate the things he believes.

  • Steele speaks out of both sides of his mouth. What a fucker.

  • I like how the Republican party thinks they know what the American people want when they lost the presidential election and are the minority in Congress.

    What morons!

  • Michael Steele - a talking asshole with a mustache

  • Michael Steele: "I'm not a talking point guy"

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    That's some funny shit!

  • Yeah, he must've been cracking up inside while saying that :-D

  • "honest debate" coming from the Party of smears.

Obama is a communist, Obama is a socialist etc.

    Steele should STFU

  • LOL

It's believed by some that humans are not better or worse than any other creature on this earth. It's the awesome scientific and technological advances and the stupid political arguments (note: not healthy debates, but stupid, pointless, I'm-sticking-to-my-partisan-comfort-zone-instead-of-actually-thinking-on-behalf-of-the-public arguments) that make me believe that we are both superior and also inferior to the creatures around us.

I thank God for science, but curse man for politics...

  • Amazing Freudian slip for Steele at 6:24

"We don't believe this is the kind of healthcare reform that's gonna be in the best interest of the company, uh, the country."
