  • ok, forgot to do it again in May 2011 ;-)

  • /watch?v=guXirzknYYE&feature=related

  • update? update?

  • the whistling as back-ground ambiance is perfect

  • Nice crash call...the downtrend is officially broken today, the market doesn't care about fundamentals, doesn't care about your price analog. There's too much money in treasuries and it's leaking into stocks, whether it makes sense or not.

  • Lo : 666 .79

    Those signs....

  • This vid made me want to watch Kill Bill. ;)

  • And what shills are you speaking of? I have yet to see a single person saying do not buy gold at 1,200 an ounce (just saying it blows my mind). Where are these vids? I've been looking for them.

"By all rights gold should be up 50 bucks a day at the rate they are creating US dollars" This shows how little you understand the economy you live in, how little you understand what happened to get us here, and how little you understand what is coming. Like I said, you all deserve it.

  • @bweazel

I've read your comments and I now have a question for you:

I'm interested to know what are YOU invested in that's performing so well?

  • Shill, it's no question that equities have performed better than commodities over the last 5 years. I don't have much money, but I invest when I see bargains. In almost two years, AMD (300%), 50 or so shares of NFLX (120%), just got into RZ, HTM, ENA, and EEE. RZ and HTM because I think geothermal will end up powering much more of the grid as technology increases. EEE cause I think they won't let go of "clean" coal and ENA cause they will be making electric cars soon.

  • LOL. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. It's not going to be a dip. It's going to be a drop. Back down to where it belongs. Gold IS NOT real money. It is a commodity. Period. A commodity that reserve banks have horded the most of, so naturally, they'll say it's money. Doesn't make it so

So after your rant, do you have any reason why you think speculators will continue to pour their DOLLARS into gold? Because you've said nothing different than the rest of the talking heads.

  • The coming drop in the price of gold. That and this being piss poor analysis.

  • You call this analysis? Wow. Maybe all you gold pushers will learn your lessons when I benefit from the short side. All I wanna do is, *bam bam bam bam bam* take yo money! Not like I feel bad about it though. You all deserve it. ;)

  • Thanks for that its always easy if you stand back and look for the bleeding obvious

  • lmao. amazing.

  • The buy and holds will definitely feel more pain in about a month. For everyone else, just go into cash, gold, inverse etf's, PUTs, or short the market when we get a double top. No big deal. Personally I think wave B (the rise back up) will overshoot because we have an unfinished fibonacci destination. It's the action that will lure the novice bulls to jump in - don't fall for it.

  • you're such a show off ( but you might be right)

  • the crash will begin June 4th 2010. all hell will break loose by July 11th 2010.

  • @traynickel

according to the Web bot ?

  • @sinterminator Cliff High is good. Martin A. Armstrong uses history, which normally repeats itself in some form or fashion.

  • The "master manipulator's" attempt to discourage flight to gold and silver by suppressing the prices via naked shorts of ETF's, only serves to create a longer opportunity to acquire such metals at a discount. Iran just announced the dumping of euros for gold and U.S. Dollars. And the U.S. mint sold in the month of May, approx. 190,000 gold eagles. Demand is up, while suppression keeps the prices down. Is there any validity in any aspect of the markets anymore? Should be interesting...

  • Wow!!

  • This is plainly ridiculous, I am glad you don't make any explicit statments, but the title of the video would suggest that because one section of the graph looks like the other, then the markets will crash. WHY?

Why would the markets crash? There must be some reason for it, unless the stock markets are purely based on speculation invest based on the fundamentals, what is the underlying property you own and how much do you value it? Everything else is BS

  • Whether the market is ready for a crash or not (and this vid is compelling that it will),I have already doubled my money in gold in the last 5 years and I won't part with it.

I really belive that we're in an era that requires not only PM's for our economic preservation, but food, guns, ammo, water wells too.

  • Karl should watch this one: mises.org/media/5005

  • all at Xtrenders

Post: "did we see the intermediate term lows? "

    author : patacon

  • Comment removed

  • that idea was posted well before your video, and the original author didnt need childish whisteling to sound convincent.

Did we see the intermediate term lows?

    Thanks for the update Atilla,

I agree about the double top pattern but one of my scenarios says second top is still to come. It may or may not be higher than 1210. One argument is the correspondence with 2007 topping pattern:

Although I know your roadmap is different, I 'd like to hear your thoughts.

    TIA

  • hahaha you're my hero.

  • You scared the Bernanke out of me!

  • well I watched it three times still don't have a flipping idea what the hell you are trying to say, the font is too small on the char to see what time frame you are coping from etc etc... not like your usually well done vids...what is the point of this one?

  • @kimdaviscali Basically he is saying the way the stocks are moving are almost identical to they way they moved in 2007/2008 JUST before the huge market crash in september of 08.

I think if it happens again we are done financially. Buy gold and silver folks.

  • History not only repeats itself, it does it over and over and over again. People still haven't learned from their mistakes.

  • If everyone would see this and sell, would it not become a self fulfilling prophecy?

  • Comment removed

  • sell sell sell.

Great vid. We certainly are reaching end days.

Playing the forex is like hacking into the matrix. The example you showed in video certainly looks a lot like a glitch in the matrix ref black cat passing the door way twice ref Matrix film.

  • I was a programmer from 1977 till 2005.

I did not realise that so many trades (in percentage) are done by computerprograms.

In the same situation they WILL do the same thing...... (give the same answers I mean).

  • whats your point, we dont need charts to know that eventually the market will tank..the whole thing is a manipulated casino, eventually the big boys will want their ball and will run home with it.

  • OMG, did anyone else notice the Lo end number was 666 .79 ? lol

  • @hobo59

yes I did! kick me in the jimmy. lol

  • love the analysis...though the whistling killed it!

  • fuck this guy... just a dumb retard who thinks he knows everthing.. you dont know shit, get an education you nerd

  • @rubenv20 omg.. i believe the crash we've seen are cause of most educated person you fucktard.. guy who put toxic assets in banks and gave them AAA ratings were from best business school in world.. so you better start acting like real educated person rather then dumm shit as wallstreet guys...

  • Good video, except for the whistling, it was killing my ears.

  • @AnotherNutJob I liked the whistling. It made it all the more eerie.

  • Grab your tin cup and get in the soup lines.

  • it kind of looks like a line of this solid white puss stuff that recently came out of a huge zit on my ass...then again, it could be signaling another crash...

  • just in time for the midterms.

  • Maybe now can get Socialist control of the economy through a direct democratic forum?

  • You're right. Looks pretty sinister. Good vid!

  • nice vid Karl, ty

  • YES. Thank you.

  • WHAT IS THIS...? I DON'T EVEN...

  • Sweet! Buying time will be on again soon! I got apple @ $80!!!!!!!

  • this is stupid

how come the great depression didnt repeat it self

  • @mark1the1 it did - research it - mid 20's, then Government stepped in 1929.

  • @mark1the1 It's repeating itself right now, Einstein.

  • @JRCrowley

no i mean how come it didnt repeat as fast as this video shows

in this video it shows that within a three year period its going to go down

the great depression didnt repeat itself within a three year period

  • @mark1the1 I know. Sorry I was a prick in my reply. Let's put it this way: No one knows what's going to happen in the future. People can only take a guess. What he's saying is he thinks it's going to repeat because the circumstances at that point were very similar to what they currently are, and the chart at that time looks identical as well. Is it going to repeat in the very near future? Who knows? It's a guess. But history does (to a certain extent) repeat - it rhymes, at least.

  • @mark1the1 - we haven't even hit "the depression" yet, Mark. These are just "recessions", while the banksters toy with us, bleed us a bit more before the kill...

  • @nameofthepen

    i see isee

  • @mark1the1

    Soon. thats the whole point.

  • I guess i am lucky that i am a student who does not really have much money because it all goes to school. Sucks for you people who have to support families and stuff. : D

  • @CoolConejo If you're doing anything other than engineering you're going to be out of your liberal arts college and right into the welfare line.

  • that was the worst analysis i've ever experimented in my life..

  • lol, sucks for the general markets. My investments have been paying off very well lately.

I've made $1,890~ for 2 months in a row now with a tiny investment :)

  • Quick, everyone shit your pants and buy gold... or shit gold and buy pants!

  • I can cut out George W Bush's face and place it in front of Sarah Palin's face and see some dangerous similarities. However, instead of having to invest in gold in order to prepare for a predicted outcome, we should be voting to invest toward a different direction toward a better outcome.

  • This is analysis? Looked like it was a Photoshop lesson.

  • Just another thought, aren't there certain seasonal fluctuations in the market? Mightn't that "pattern" you are showing be part of a normal fluctuation? Where the crash was more of a singular event?

Of course if you and all the gold hawks manage to convince all these traders to start a sell off and move their money into gold it would work well for you to reproduce this wouldn't it.

  • buy gold now

    or forever hold your peace

  • So, you anticipated the last crash like you are anticipating this one right? Of course if you manage to bring about a crash by anticipating it then you could be well placed to take advantage of it wouldn't you.

  • NWO.

  • But they say this time will be different! LOL! We are so screwed!

  • How strange... The Market almost looks "manipulated".

  • But when? Of course no one knows, so exercise proper money management as you don't want to be one of those Bears who became insolvent while waiting for "P3".

  • Karl rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • had to watch it twice .. your hypnotic whistling made me switch off the first time and i couldn't remember anything up until you stopped lol (maybe cuz im tired).

  • How will this crash effect the dollar-denominated price of gold?

  • MASSIVE MASSIVE Deflation on our horizon, followed by 1 last HUMONGOUS stimulus package and then Hyperinflation a couple weeks later.

  • "analysis like this?" seriously?

I can get analysis like this by starting paint.exe

  • One BIG Ponzi Scheme....

  • @aceyorba

How DARE you call Mr. Denninger's services a Ponzi Scheme!

  • lololol i saw the similarities as soon as you boxed the first thing. wow.

  • Thanks Mr karl. I am not a financial technical person but I think I got the gist of your vid.

I do wish you would do more videos here on youtube. I subscribed to you when things went so bad last time and learned a lot just by listening to you. But you seem to have pretty much stopped doing vids over here. I sure do wish you would come back and be more of a sound presence on YT. You seem to help so many that way.

  • WTF! That is crazy! Historically does that happen often? Is it the illusion of a coincidence? How high would you say is the probability of recurrence? Man, I'm bugging out.

  • @iFreedom4ever

There is no such thing as a coincidence.

  • @stripe64 i know that's why i said the "illusion" of coincidence

  • Gots ma gold, gots ma silver, ma beer,

ma guns & ammo & tattoos. Bring on the No. Koreans.

Ah been waiting fur the Sociologists & the Commienesses

to take us down from within. I forgot to worry bout those

nice conservative, patriotic banker fellas who did what

all the Commies in history couldn't.

  • @danger0usknowledge

    store water

next year price of water will explode

  • @danger0usknowledge ... You're missing the most important "prep", Jesus Christ. None of us will make it out of here alive, and without Jesus, you won't be prepared for eternity.

But he was pierced for our transgressions,

    He was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,

and by his wounds we are healed.

    Isaiah 53:5

  • @shoeman3434, It's good to be preped and

being with Jesus. Having said that, I was also kidding.

I don't have gold or silver and don't really like beer

but I do worry bout them sociology people all the time...

and people with tattoos...and I hope those

banker and oil CEO fellas get with Jesus real soon

    and ask for forgiveness. ))

  • perfect melody :)

  • @Doenietmeermee and briljant catch indeed

  • Good Catch !!!!

  • so we got 1 more upstrend to go eh ?

  • Typical PPT curtsy of Goldman Sachs HFT (High Frequency Trading).

  • @kdenninger -- what is the song you are whistling? lol

  • @lostmatt its the hungarian suicide song, Gloomy Sunday.

  • Historical data only gives you half the picture ;)

  • You couldn't have said it better!!!

  • Very clear illustration, thank you.

  • I dont know what Don Harrolds service is like. But i have a feeling that Karls service is better. Unfair maybe cause im not subscribed to either. But from what i see here on youtube i like Karls vids better

  • @NicosMind It is way too hard to follow Don because his website changes once a week and he seems to have ADHD because he can't stay on task. One week its Maldova, next week its DayTradeShow, next week its ScanWinners -- somethin ain't right with that guy.

  • @lostmatt Thanks man. Have you used his services before? I dont know what it is. I didnt see it when i first started watching him maybe just over 3 years ago, but maybe things have changed recently. Hes really trying to sell his services lately as well. Hes yearning to make a profit for some reason. Maybe even struggling, hence his chaoticness

  • Very well done. God bless you!

  • A rotting corpse of an economy

  • Great teaser clip with value. Looks like we're done climbing the roller coaster hill, time for the screaming!

  • The whistling was a perrfect touch! Keep up the great work!

  • Loved it!

  • Hmmm... copy and paste business in a copy and paste world

  • Here comes!

  • The nonchalant whistling is a nice touch:) thanks Karl.

  • I would appreciate if you make the same chart for the USD

  • Technical Analyses is not mathematical. Its based on assumptions and it does not work. Believe me...

  • @Mikannika Well that's a good thing; technical analysis makes little or no pretense at being scientific and isn't taken too seriously. Autistic math-masturbation and statistical modeling has been a key component of several crashes now; it causes companies like AIG and LTCM to take a huge amount of leverage and earn a small fee every day believing they take no risk, until one day they get steamrolled by an event they deemed to be 20 sigma out. *splat*, they're gone.

  • faber said markets are oversold near term

  • Karl is a great whistler... and his technical analysis isn't bad either!

  • Uh, I don't quite get why this means a crash is coming. As you wrote it MAY mean a crash is coming or it MAY mean one isn't. Puts us in the same boat of not knowing as we did before the pretty picture got manipulated. I'm glad the gold market is going up, that means it's time for those of us who bought low to sell high--just like any other good investor.

  • .

Awesome! Time to load up on more gold and silver!

    .

  • @tyronebiggums3 Karl wouldn't agree with you, but I do! =^[.]^=

  • Nice, speak truth to power by keeping it simple KIS.

  • That's so scary.

  • The fingerprints of manipulation?

  • Anyone going short?

  • @SilverBar9999 I'm thinkin about wearin some shorts, not that I have any expertise in it.

  • Wow, very insightful. Good thing I already lost everything.

The next crash will also start the social order collapse. (riots) The illlusion is over.

  • LMAO!....

  • scary.....just.... scary

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • hahaha!!! thats great! so whats the time frame for this?

  • @somezemos looks like half a year

  • Very interesting

  • Karl Denninger is an excellent analyst with a huge amount of integrity, sadly all these attributes are missing from Wall Street and DC.Excellent as ever Karl!

  • From the recent S&P high of about 1200, a second crash would take us down to about 480. Too bad you didn't have room to move the 2008 crash over, too.

Elliot wave guys say we have to get to a sub 1000 DJIA in order to complete the cycle, so much for the 401K.

  • Wow. Somebody call da ambulamps!!

  • Karl, MORE VIDEOS PLEASE! Make more and we will keep passing them along!

  • market ticker rocks

  • not a coincidence. only software/ computers can be so precise. therefore, whoever is controlling the software/ computers is controlling the direction of the markets.

  • @beebletox that's my thoughts as well. I was wondering if anyone else believe such is the case here. But will the 'programs' allow the crash to occur? Or will it just recycle the buying after a small correction?

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well there's something. Rather telling, don't you think?

  • Comment removed

  • Doesn't history tell that Gold will crash as well as everything else?

  • @tbgx1 Maybe, we'll just have to wait and see. I can tell you this. If gold does drop like it did before, This guy will be loading up the boat this time.

  • Whistlin' past the graveyard. Great analogy.

  • dammit denninger, stop being right all the damned time... *sigh*

    /goes and buys more gold

  • Oh yeah thanks Karl, "have a great evening"? after that?

i think i'll have beer or 3, this is gonna SUCK!

btw- your T party presentation was great.

  • Jim Cramer stock market shill

  • Noticed citibank hit 4.01 today right in the sweet spot for a short. Also the Kramer indicator says buy citi and we should all know by now what that means.

  • If Cramer tells you to buy, it means the time to sell is now.

  • wow, great analysis

  • Wunderbahr!

  • yep...so there you go....

  • so why do you call it a "gold" membership?.....she how deep the "ancient relic" resides in our collective unconsciousness....appreciate your work.

  • Pretty funny stuff ... here comes the depression :-p

  • If that chart repeats itself even partially.... I'll laugh at everyone on the trading floor..... great job karl

  • I LOLed when I saw the analog. Now lets see what the future brings.

  • You know I wait weeks to be educated by you. And when you do eventually post a video, you just do some charting overlaying....You could have talked about the M3 supply, Housing Market, ARM's, Commerical Real Estate. whatever.....

  • @Drav1212 can you ?

  • @DavidAKZ NO, that is why I subscribe to KD to get educated....No one else on youtube educates us.....

  • The reoccurrence of media's laughing response to cover truthsayers has become prolific...again.

  • @143DREWID yes this is true big time.

  • You RULE! thanks for the update.

  • I always wonder is this fixed or is this human emotion being predictable.

  • WOW! déjà vu

  • It's going to get wild!

  • all i know is there's alot of people & unions on the tit; if wall street goes so will everything else

  • creepy.......

  • I was thinking that the stock market is acting the same way as 2007.

  • @JOConnor100 Yeah, but Gold is not acting the same. Logging on to APMEX as soon as I leave youtube.
