Desire HD official Android 2.3.5 with Sense 3.0 overview

do you think i should buy this phone now? i know it's been like 18 months since it came out, but it's reeeally cheap now and still quite good. what do you suggest?

@evangelia96 first of all what phone have you got at the moment?!

- it depends if you're fussy or not. I would recommend it to anyone who is new to HTC or Android. but as usual there are better spec phones out atm for example the Galaxy S2, but they are more expensive :( lol.

so yeah the desire HD is a good phone and you will get your monies worth!

@iNemoHD nooo, im not new to neither HTC or Android. i've had HTC since forever. but my phone was stolen like 2 months ago, and i can't afford a really good phone right now. so yeah, in general i think that the desire hd is very good, also considering its price atm. the only issue that puts me down is the 1GHz processor. and not even dual-core, lol. is it really that bad?

@evangelia96 what HTC did you have?! the main difference between the 1ghz and the dual core is the speed. you may want to get the dual core if you use your phone a lot. and by that I mean not just texting/calling/facebook or whatever. I mean if you use the internet browser a lot white doing other stuff like playing games at the same time. for me personally I need an upgrade soon. my desire HD doesn't feel as quick as it did when I first got it!

@iNemoHD i had the evo 3d, bought it when it first came out. the processor is (or at least that's what i see on papers) much better then the desire hd (dual 1.2ghz). so anyway, are you telling me that for average use (for example doing one thing at a time, gaming/internet browsing etc.), the 1ghz processor is sufficient?

@superpiff420 personally I don't use sense, I use launcher pro. but if I were to compare it to the previous sense I would say it is the same really, just new features.

@aramonmacedojunior I've used the Galaxy S but i've never owned one. So I prefer HTC. I think the TouchWiz UI is a bit "childish" lol but it is a really good phone. And obviously on paper the Desire HD is a lot better.

@gogochriso Tmobile will be the last to roll out the update, I am also waiting but it is definately coming. Wait it out, hopefully we all have it soon, cheers.

how do you take a screen shot on desire hd 2.3.5? i did it once by accident but it wont anymore and all videos i have seen dont work (home+back) or plus volume up and power or something
