I agree with all the comments re: speed. There is no stillness, no element of surprise. A really skilled dancer will find the space within the music, not just try to catch every single accent and fill it with movement.

First off may I say I have been dancing and teaching bellydance for about thirty years. I think Neon is a talented dancer and applaud her work.I thank Studio East for bringing us high quality videos with gorgeous well costumed dancers to wonderful music.All that said:

The NAME of this song is "SERPENTINA" it is 5:12 long and has been cut here.In my opinion the almost two minutes of missing music is the sweetest violin solo ever.Sacriledge.

it could be fantastic if the "traditional" PC games like (I´m not a PC game maniac - I´m dancer) Might and Magic - the game based on fantasy with great music! - use the tallent of dancers like this lady - refering in this way for example to the heros of the game - or to any other existens - imagine - reality and fantasy then would be really next eaxh other:) imagine...

you are a very good dancer but I honestly feel that there was way too much movement. i wasn't able to concentrate on anything at one time because every thing seemed to be moving all at once...but I can tell you are a good dancer

@psionicmaiden Maybe she feels like a happy snake today. :) LOL I think I would like her dance better if it was slower too, but I have to say she did beautifully doing it fast too and I guess that's how she felt the music moving her. I probably would have tried to go a little slower, but that's also cause I'm much more of a beginner than she is, that and I love slow undulations, they're mesmerizing.

Everything you had stated is true. The slower undulations are actually more demanding in a performance.

I've been dancing for 30 years; example, I can do a dance like this at her pace and not break a sweat. Now if I take double the time to do the same steps naturally to slower music, I will be drenched in sweat. It requires more control, etc..

@psionicmaiden I have to agree, sometimes when the music seems to call for "soft" she is very "hard" and It sort of detracts from the dance for me. Not that I think she's a bad dancer, just for me I feel like some of it should be softer. I love her as a teacher too.
