We've all had to go through a moment like this in our lives. Important for kids to understand they can't always have what they want. I'm a SDSU fan and glad we won, but sorry for this kid. He'll forget all about it. And besides, BYU has a very good team and is in a regional that could see them go a long way. Go SDSU, Go BYU and Go UNLV!!! I hope we all do some serious damage!!! That would be nice.
SDSU's "thugs" won the MWC tournament for the second consecutive year this year so I wouldn't say it's short lived.
@RichardandKara If you look at SDSU's history with Steve Fisher and the incredible changes he's made to the basketball program, you probably wouldn't be calling our time "grime on the sole of every mediocre team". Chances are lots of great players are going to want to play for him.

@motopunk81 do you even understand basketball. this is how it works.. during the season New Mexico Swept BYU, BYU swept SDSU, SDSU swept New Mexico. SDSU= BYU. SDSU beat BYU in MWC (when it acutally matters) SDSU> BYU . Its not about points that were scored its about the number of wins, this isn't soccer. AND if ur only argument is amount of points scored, then BYU out scored sdsu by 8 points, but New mexico out scored BYU by 16 in there 3 meets so SDSU is still better than BYU :)
