I have this phone... it kinda simply rocks. It looks and feels pro, the touchscreen is very responsive and the 256MB of ram really do the job. I am currently still using the default "theme-style" whatever yer wanna call it but I'm thinking of going on SPBMobile Shell or TouchFlo as soon as I'm gonna get my mobile internet on. Nice review too.

@jerrhue ...considering that the X10 came out over a year and months AFTER the Xperia X1, I'd say that Rachel (X10) is nice. That said, it is apples and oranges. X10 lacks a physical camera and uses AndroidOS. X1, is older, but is manufactured by HTC (customization is a plus!), and uses Windows Mobile with a tactile keyboard.

The portability of the X1 is equally a plus. If I want to use Android, I'll stick with either a Nexus one or a to-be-released "Project Emerald".

I have this phone and I'm completely satisfied with it, my mm has the 3gs and i prefer my phone any day because its much more customizable software wise and there's sooo many cool things that you can do with it. The camera is amazing (once upgraded). The iphone does have much more games but application wise i can get anything that iphone gets, maybe sumday i can get the games too. If u do decide to buy this you HAVE to mod it (15 mins, like jailbreak on iphone) because stock software sucks ass

I got the touch flo 3D already in my xperia with windows 6.5 however it keeps freezing minmum 2 time a day and when im scrolling it freezes sometimes and takes it a long while to start again. some times it freezes and the only way to unfreeze it pressing the off button n turning it on again. Its starting to do my head in, Any help ? im thinking of selling it for an Iphone because i heard they never freeze but then again iphone has its down side. Any help ? what do you suggest ?

The Xperia X1 was never supposed to have WinMo 6.5. I use it myself aswell but you have to accept the slowdown every now and then. A freeze 2 times a day is extreem but then again your using touch flo 3D ported to Xperia (a WinMo 6.1 device) on WinMo 6.5. If you could do that on the Iphone then it might freeze aswell. Best thing to do is to install the official R3 rom, it's the regular SE rom but it is what programs and panels are designed for.

Yes, it's true. i use skype on my X1 and its coolllllll. I work as a flight attendant and when i'm abroad i just steal wireless connection wherever i am and speak to friends free. It's cool
