  • @esTebanLRD That's because that comment was not intended for MJ you dumb son of a bitch!! Jordan didn't even attempt a 720!!! I accidentally posted that comment on the wrong video. If you notice, there is some video that says " Worlds first ever 720 dunk in the world" and I had two pages at the same time. That's WHY I ERASED IT YOU FUCKING BITCH! MJ is my favorite player of all time faggot!

  • @esTebanLRD Suicide isn't so bad, give it a chance???? Why did you already try it hahahaha??? Speaking of dumb motherfuckers haha!! Im just now realizing how much of a retard YOU are. Im the BEST RETARD??? What the fuck is that hahaha! Don't fuck please with you??? Can you even write a fucking coherent sentence?? YOu can't even spell you dumb motherfucker and you call me retard hahaha?? You sure know how to make yourself look like a fucking idiot!

  • Comment removed

  • @esTebanLRD Why did you erase your message? You insulted me first. I never insulted you. You started calling me names instead of asking me first why I said 720. I would have explained that I made a mistake and posted in the wrong video. It makes no sense to insult people without knowing what's going on.

  • @LAMEXAME You´re a Kobe fan, Kobe lover get out of here!!!

  • @esTebanLRD NO!

  • @sittingon35s are u smoking or what? 02 kobe outplayed mike and 03 kobe dropped 55 on the wizards

  • @robberealsr1982 UHHHH JORDAN WAS 38YEARS OLD YOU IDIOT! What did you expect??

  • @yahoopl3 hahaha you sir or madame are a dumbass

  • Jordan is the GOAT. No1 can deny that. But I would love to see Jordan and Bryant go against each other in their primes. You can't say that wouldn't be a good match-up.... Kobe is my favorite player, But I say again (for the dumbasses) Jordan is the GOAT

  • @dherring256 Jordan went against Kobe in Kobe's prime when MJ was at the end of his career and MJ still destroyed him.

  • @sittingon35s uhhh I don't think Jordan was playing 4-5 years ago. That's kobe in his prime. Not a 22 year old kobe

  • @PaulM05 Jordan could take Kobe now. Kobe is too busy raping women and getting divorced. At least MJ only gambled and smoked cigars.

  • @sittingon35s lol WTF does Kobe's personal life/problems have to do with his Basket Ball skill?? lol smh Please dude, just shut up. Ur obviously just a Kobe Hater. I'm the ultimate Jordan fan, I think hes the greatest of all time and nobody else even comes close. Not Kobe, not Lebron James, not nobody. But to say that "Jordan could take Kobe" just because Kobe has had issues outside of Basketball is ridiculous. lol 1 thing has nothing to do with the other.

  • @PaulM05 The prime is when you hit 21 if you started as highschool..just like MJ was prime from the moment he enter the NBA because he has college exp. MJ was already past prime in the last 2 championship against jazz.

  • -dunks- "Im hungry"

  • not very impressive compared to what the current nba players can do

  • @yahoopl3 yes, any nba player today can take off from the free throw line and throw down a dunk *sarcasm*. i know that's not the dunk you were referring to, and the dunk in this vid might have been a little mundane for MJ, but make no mistake, the current nba players aren't fit to hold mj's jock

  • this is like a home video from the 80's. youtube style. pretty cool video.

  • I heard only Jordan know where the ark of the covenant hides! Jordan also fought Speed of light and destroyed it!

Jordan misses on purpose to see how it feels.

Jordan 4's & 6's are made in heaven.

Jordan is set to distribute the 3rd testament when the time is right.

Jordan put the NBA on lockdown this year because he felt like it.

Every Jordan that sells heals the an amputated person. Arms & legs just grow.

The Sistine Chapel is going to be repainted with a Jumpman! ..M-Angelo my ass.

  • whats the year of this dunk ?? 1989 ?? weird stuff of mj !! thanks

    legalize it from buenos aires

  • sabonis better dunk :)

  • The Greatest Athlete In The History of the World

  • he's like.... That's all i have to do? lol

  • Pinaka Gusto kong DAkdak ni jordan

  • they said..he did it..easy!!!!

  • ~hold up a card w/ a 10 on it ~ :)

  • The G.O.A.T

  • Wow! Nice camera you have. You have HD from long way back? Awesome!

  • @123rockstar2010 These were televised on the Lakers' home game channel Prime Ticket. This game is the 1988 edition. They began in 86 (w/ Bird and Magic on the same team) and played at least until 93 (rookie Shaq was the star attraction, but Magic won that game at the buzzer). The pattern was to do a 3 pt contest at halftime and a dunk contest after the gm. It was weird they weren't picked up by CBS or NBC considering they were no different than the NBA's ASG in Feb.

  • did you record this with an HD sony camera?

  • is this taken in 2010? damn mj....

  • @fakexloser look at the shorts?! 2010 wtf ^^

  • I rofld so hard at the audience

  • Oh Lord I love Cement IIIs !!!!!

  • Man this is like Dr J with the dial turned up to 11 and on crack.

  • really rare footage... got more? Got the video of that game?

  • Look at his edge up!! aha nice move goin bald GOAT

  • damn kobe acts just like this dude lol

  • MJ is not 6ft 6. he always was 6ft 5.

  • @tfbgoat Yep. In fact in his college days he was 6' 4". I always thought he was 6' 5" or 6' 5" n a half in the NBA. Because standing next to Scotty, which was said to be 6' 7", MJ looked about 2 inches smaller. Which in my eyes made it all the more impressive for him dunking from the free throw line, as compared with all others that have done it in the NBA. They've been taller n pretty athletic themselves. Which only makes me believe that if MJ was 6' 9", he would dunk from the 3 point line. lol

  • if this is so rare, why have I seen it hundreds of times since the early 90's from a dozen different angles???

  • thats a hard dunk to attemp

  • @shyeem63 not for a 6'6" NBA player.. Thats a layup line dunk nowadays,, IN HIGH SCHOOL

  • @thehiphopdepot Yeah, I can do that Dunk....but it doesn't look that easy and smooth. Of course highschool kids do these dunks today. People run faster and jump higher. So imagine Mj as a rookie today. He would have hops like T-dub.

  • Mahic Johnson and Shaq have a great sense of humor...Mocking MJ..LOL

  • It sounds like the crowd lost their breath.

  • the dunk is not that good its ok

  • @Saeeddabeast yeah, especially because MJ did the craddle dunk several times in-game in his rookie years ^^

  • Still stupid show

  • Damn this dude had 2 age, what if mike never could age damn i would get a natural high off watching him destroy these new cats in the NBA, i mean damn don't act like yall never used yall imagination!

  • @shellshockedd nba 2k12 with MJ vs lakers, heat, and all these teams haha

  • @shellshockedd I did, but it soon turned from a dream into a nightmare as I imagined MJ scoring 100.

  • @shellshockedd he wouldn't be the best player in the NBA if he was in his prime Lebron would have it

  • @dhughzy shut the fuck up fag. enjoy the dunk and suck lebrons dick after the video.

  • @336freeman I love Michael Jordan but they way Lebron gets his head over the rim and makes passes you can't just by pass that shit Michael has never been pass oriented oh yea and I'll go Lebron's dick and gargle, swallow and not spit no homo though lol

  • @336freeman ay you live in the 336 area you might have to see me nigga lol that's the area I live in burlington, nc

  • @dhughzy haha that shits crazy, millions of people on u tube and I reply to one comment thats in the same area. What are the chances. But Jordan training the way newer athletes do he would excel above all. You get better by playing with better players, and Jordan and Lebron BOTH have that ability to get better than they are now, IF there were better players than them in their time, but to me Jordan has more heart and determination which will makes him better.

  • @336freeman yea I understand they got even better moves more trainers he would have been better than Lebron now I understand what you mean

  • @shellshockedd I hope this makes you angry

  • @shellshockedd We all know what it would be like. To those of us who got to witness his Airness in his prime. As great as these players are today, they are below #23 easily. Trying to imagine a prime MJ playing in today's league would be so epic your mind would explode from Manly Awesomeness.

If MJ was able to stay 27 yrs old, he would be writing the record books today. Especially w/ no bigs allowed to clog the middles, LMAO!!! Dude would average 40-50 ppg today.

  • @TrueSephiros True that!!

  • @shellshockedd Mike would get it too dude he's not a god

  • for this to be old, this is some pretty good quality

  • slomo? XD

  • Thousends of people in this video and I actually saw 5 white people..... ;)

  • Stupid show and stupid fans.

  • @USJew i think the only one stupid here its YOU kid STFU NAO!

  • he sat down like he just did nothing! THE MAN WALKED ON AIR!

  • can george bush do that ? no!

  • Slowmotion, please!

  • i can only see black people.

  • This isn't rare.. he does it all the time on a fastbreak but good video tho :)

  • youtube.com/watch?v=B64lWjwOpmY&feature=related

Where the cradle started and stayed. Never been topped yet.

Nance #1 after almost 30 years.

  • It looks like JaVale McGee's dunk on 2011...

    But McGee's is harder...

  • @handiheraldo101194 You don't see it from this camera angle, but MJ takes off from way before the hoop and glides through the air before slamming it. Furthermore, he was having fun. I mean it wasnt like he was giving it all in a serious NBA dunk competition back then. Was 6 into the league at this point. If Jordan took off from where McGee did, he woulda hung around and stood on air for awhile - no comparison!

  • @handiheraldo101194 Furthermore, most modern day dunkers are only concerned with athleticism and have lost the art of body torque in the air, grace or style. McGee's dunk was impressive and I'm happy he did a unique version of Larry Nances cradle, but Nance still 'owns' the cradle >>> youtube.com/watch?v=cM08OJwRDgg.

Also, Jordan has the single most athletic, graceful cradle dunk ever >>> youtube.com/watch?v=2Nb7qea2hRo

  • watching this makes me cry..

the era we live in is poluted by moneyleaches and we as spectators get to watch spoild kids that are treaded like they have won 3 rings

  • The sad thing is this video has better quality than some videos in the 2000's

  • i just noticed that during this great era, no one wears jerseys in the crowd

  • Lmfao @ thearistotleq

  • Magic on the mic lmao

  • i counted 4 white people

  • clear vid :D

  • Man i love this, it's footage like this that really makes you appreciate how the game was and how much i missed seeing MJ and Magic on the court. Watching Magic coaxing MJ into taking a spectacular dunk sumes it up in one word for me, PRICELESS. You could'nt get that kind of passion, fun, joy and excitement these days, no matter how hard you try. This was the same way they looked on the great "DREAM TEAM" in '92.

  • @delfra70

    Thanks for the nice post

  • @Basketsofhope Not a problem my man, thank you for the great lost footage, videos like this always brings back great memories and make you reminisce.

  • @delfra70 Memories are all we have once the day has passed. Remember yesterday and pray for a better tomorrow:)

  • @Basketsofhope yea one of the gayest youtube conversations ive read in a while

  • Comment removed

  • @Basketsofhope wow thanks for uploading this. brought back a'lot of memories and seeing the forum and so many great games played there.

  • @delfra70 dude quit living in the past. All that is new is not evil. I see this sort of camaderie and sportmanship everyday on the court, we all root for eachother, and I bet Wade roots on Lebron at practice sumtimes to do a super crazy dunk. Stop watching so much ESPN and feeding your mind negativity, because not only will you start copying their negativity, youll start believing it, like it was your idea in the first place. Ur a good person, dont let them tell you you arent.:(

  • @Kuzarkit Naw you got it wrong my man, it's not so much of living in the past but aprreciating it. I've been wachting the NBA for over 30 years now and i still watch it and enjoy it, just making a point. Hope i did'nt hit a little sensitive spot there bro. Maybe i have been around a little longer than you and i just happen to remember the past with fond memories, but the game is great now as well, so it's all good. Now as far as ESPN feeding my mind negativety, i'm a grown ass man youngyin'.

  • @Kuzarkit dude you're probably just a dumb kid and will never appreciate this era of Magic and Jordan. All you know is this selfish era of LeChoke James.

  • @delfra70 And in 20 years this generation will say the same bullshit about how there is no passion like in the early 2000s anymore. Fucking morons like you who talk about the "good old days" piss me off. Players today have just as much "Passion", "Fun" and "joy" as back when jordan played but it wont be appreciated until todays players retire

  • @ben1ben2ben1 Now, before i toast you like bread dog, clean the wax out your ears and listen to this, you are entitled to your opinion, like i am mine. Now who knows, maybe in 20 years people will be saying the same thing. You sound like someone that's not old enough to remember the 80's and 90's, those are usually the youngyins who talk down on the past. The game is good now, don't get me wrong, i just happen to remember the past as well. Oh and one more thing, watch who you calling out chump.

  • @delfra70 HAHAHHAHAHAHHA how the fuck is that toasting me? You didnt even defend your own opinion. Jordan, Magic, Bird, DR J, Clyde all had "Passion" but how the fuck did they have more then Kobe, Duncan, Garnet, D wade? Fuck i bet the older guys were saying the same thing about not having guys like Wilt and Russell in the 80s.

  • @ben1ben2ben1 First of all, i'm actually taking it easy on you dog, what are you like 16 or 17. Look dude, i was'nt around to see Russell,Wilt,Jim Brown,Joe Louis,Mays,Ruth,Unitas or none of those greats, but i still understand how great they we're, i do my fuckin' homework dog, i research o.k. Let me slow this down for you, back then players did'nt have the huge upfront contracts that players have now, there were no $100 million dollar contracts back then, they played to get bigger contracts.

  • @delfra70 Back then they didnt have the huge contracts that they have today BUT Jordan and Magic made shit loads from endorsements so i dont think the $ thing would apply to them dog. And dog all im saying is that every generation will always say there generation was the best or most passionate dog. Its like that with movies, sports, music. My generation will probably say the same thing in 20 years dog. Every generation had passion dog. And iv probably seen as much MJ in the playoffs as u dog

  • @ben1ben2ben1 Now let me start off saying, you stand strong behind your points, i can respect that, even if i don't agree with everything. You got some fire in your arguments and you're not just blowing smoke like some folks, so you alright. I actually go back to MJ's college days at UNC and the '82 NCAA championship against Georgetown, so i go back man. Be honest with me though, that last game the Lakers played against Dallas when they lost by 36, you did'nt see no passion there, they quit.

  • @delfra70 You can find examples of that in any sport in any decade. Because of the rules the league was definitely tougher back then but more passionate? I don think so

  • @ben1ben2ben1 Yeah, it was tougher, defenses we're less limited without the handcheck rules. Maybe not necessarily more passionate, just more focused. You did'nt have quite as many outside distractions like twitter and so on. I'll say this, you never seen MJ,Magic,Bird, etc, quit, no matter how ugly things got, and even those great players got blew out sometimes. Did'nt it kinda seem like Kobe and the Lakers quit in that final game against Dallas, it look like they just said 'F' it, let's go home

  • @delfra70 MJ, Bird and Magic? Probably not but im sure there was examples of others who "gave up". Im just saying every generation thinks they were the best

  • @ben1ben2ben1 Oh, yeah, i think cats like that are just wired that way, never quit no matter what. Every player does'nt have that DNA. Man i watched the NBA religiously then and i still watch it like that now. The playoffs we're great this past season, they really we're. I was debating with a lot of people i know about the Finals, most we're picking the Heat but i took Dallas, i just thought they had the better more complete team in my opinion, Miami had more dynamic explosive players.

  • @ben1ben2ben1 and you dont think that the past greats were more fundamentally respected than today's greats? get a life

  • @psychomajoreflex What the fuck are you talking about? Players always get more respect after they retire

  • @ben1ben2ben1 im not talking about retirement, i mean bout when they play the game, like when Dr J use the sweeping layup against the Lakers when the Laker players were mesmerized and froze about the play, or MJ's circus hangtime move against the Nets and the whole Nets bench jumped in awe, you would never see that in today's game. why do you compare the era in the past to today's era. in your terms, i see that the argument is that there is NO era?

  • @psychomajoreflex Have you seen the player reaction to some of Vince carters moves? I would even say he has gotten a bigger reaction from opposing teams benches/players. Vince over frederic weis just froze the French team and his windmill against IN TRAFFIC against the clippers had the clipper bench jumping around. I really dont know what the fuck you are talking about.

  • @ben1ben2ben1 saw that, lame, only one player was mezmerized the rest were just okay it happens. i bet u dont know how it feels to play in a real basketball game. the 80's was gold, 70's era was washed out from the 60's i agree, the eras are different now, unless you are telling me that there was no era, get the fuck outta here!

  • @ben1ben2ben1 i've watched NBA for more than 20 years now, and I also got myself a NBA league pass to reminiss myself into 60's basketball, where there was total domination between teams. 80's and 90's were gold, and in the millenium we see new faces everyday, but everyones for their own era, and i am proud to say that i have witnesses basketball in the 80's and 90's where defense and drive was gold. nowadays, players have relied heavily on promotions and money just to boost up morale in NBA.

  • @ben1ben2ben1 about that second question, i have never seen player fleeze after a play or opposing team benches jump up for the other team other than MJ. sorry man you are clearly out of your head. this is an MJ video, where he shows his greatness on the court. if you dont like nostalgis, why are you coming on to this page and acting all buthurt because people on youtube are reminiscing the memories that they grew up watching? you like today, hate the past??? you are wasting your time here.

  • @psychomajoreflex Hate the past? Jordan is my favorite athlete besides Muhammad Ali (another past athlete). Just look at my favorite videos. But people always like to pretend that the past was better then today in sports and thats simply NOT TRUE. Maybe players dont freeze anymore because they have seen it all and much better (vince over the 7 foot 2 guy for ex). Like i said you were not even born in the 60s-most of 80s and only see the best of it.

  • @ben1ben2ben1 i know i get your point, but i do have the NBA league pass. i could watch any era all day when i want, and i believed to have seen a week full of 60s basketball, next week, i tune in to more 70's, if i have time to do so. and just because i was not born in the 60's doesn't mean that i dont know anything about that decade. its history, and you know that as a historian like me, i base my theories and statements based off the facts, not fiction

  • @psychomajoreflex My point is there only going to show the best games on NBA league pass so you only see the good

  • If Len Bias hadn't have died, he'd be the one ya'll would be drooling over. He was the more athletic and developed player when they were both in the ACC

  • @FavreianVengeance Len Bias was weak minded. He died because he experimented with drugs. More athletic, better developed game? Maybe, but it means nothing unless you put it on the biggest stage, against the best. Jordan's mind was a weapon. If you want to speculate Bias could've been better than Jordan, I'll speculate Bias would've killed himself or destroyed his career before ever proving it. Bias was certainly talented, but so were other weak minded college players that went nowhere.

  • @TheAristotleQ

Weak minded? Cmon. You really buy that shit? People love to talk about Jordan and Kobe's minds. Really they're pretty fucking weak minded and that's why they say and do stupid shit all the time. They're superior athletes. That's all there is to it. And as for Bias, it's on yt. Check it out. Bias kicked Jordan's ass in college b/c he was the superior player. He died. Shit happens. That doesn't erase his talent. His/Celtics loss was Jordan's gain plain and simple.

  • @FavreianVengeance Yes. Weak minded. Look up his interviews. He talked about how he needed to avoid the drugs, partying, etc. Then kills himself messing with drugs. Dying in a car accident is "shit happens". Drugs are for weak minds. Kobe quit twice in the playoffs. He's weak minded too. Your comment that Jordan is weak minded is ludicrous. What did Jordan do that showed he was weak minded?

Bias may very well have been the superior player, but his weak mind led to his death.

  • @TheAristotleQ

Yet he didn't avoid parties. You can read all about his shit with Tiger Woods. And you think he's going to come out and say he ever did drugs and hurt his corporate image? You truly are a stooge. I'll give MJ plenty of credit but I'm not going to buy the fantasy like you.

  • @FavreianVengeance

Dude, Jordan is notorious for some of his party antics. And you think just b/c Jordan said in an interview that he never touched drugs that that is true? He has a corporate image to protect. Stop being such a stooge.

  • @FavreianVengeance My bad. Let me get on your level. Jordan was a weak minded drug user. Len Bias was the greatest of all time. Feels good to be out of fantasy land.

Tiger Woods is a weak minded drug user. Federer is a weak minded drug user. Messi is a weak minded drug user. Gretzky is a weak minded drug user.

If only they could have been like Len Bias, the greatest of everything, ever.

  • @FavreianVengeance you just assume MJ didn't get better since college. that len bias 'could've' been better, but you can't say that, cuz he never played an NBA game.

  • @datfunkyfresh

No. Jordan improved his shooting range and his post game (specifically the turn around jumper). But he basically came into the NBA with his game 90 percent developed. Bias was the better more athletic player in college and there's really no doubt that he wouldn't have continued his development, especially under the tutelage of the greatest ever, Larry Bird.

  • @FavreianVengeance Larry Bird is not the greatest ever. MJ is. you cannot say someone would've been better, cuz you have no fucking idea if he could've been better. bias was an explosive playmaking forward, not warranted to be 6x Champion, 5x MVP, 11x Scoring Champion blah blah blah blah... MJ is GOAT i know you've heard this before

  • @datfunkyfresh

Yea. Is that why Bird came into the league and turned his 29 win team into a 60 win team and a champion in 2 years and Jordan came into the league and turned his 32 win team into a 38 win team and got his ass swept by Bird both years? Jordan never beat the greats in their prime. He would have if he was as great as the corporate media tells you he is (and you buy it). Did you also know of all the Dream teamers Jordan had the lowest FG percent.

  • @datfunkyfresh

BTW - I don't go by stupid numbers. I've done real analysis. If I wanted to just do a ring/mvp check I'd tell you Bill Russell was the best. As it is, Russell is number two on my list and Jordan is number 5.

  • @FavreianVengeance you're just a sad whose never had a women in his life to put MJ at number 5.

  • @datfunkyfresh

Try again. This time, remember to make sense.

  • @FavreianVengeance you don't have friends, and you've never had a women if you put MJ at number 5.
