Jones is no more fake or cockier than any other fighter. He's in the spotlight more than before, had to create a beef with Rashad, in order to play the Dana White game. Jones has always been a very articulate and well spoken young black man. He's not a thug, nor does he act thuggish, so he is viewed as fake, cocky, or uppity. Bottom line, the young kid can fight and will probably serve Rampage a good beating. I just hope Rampage gets his heart back and brings the fire and the PRIDE heat.

I also cannot stand Jon Jones. He's got this whole fake humble act going on. I think he tries to sound humble, but when it comes down to it he's not a humble person, so it kind of comes out like a mix of humble and arrogant, and these personality traits just don't mix, so it really rubs me the wrong way. Its cause Jon Jones is American, and the UFC loooves their American fighters. They boast them up and make them seem invincible, look at what they had us believing about Hughes until he faced a real competitor, same thing with Rich Franklin,good fighter don't get me wrong, but he wasn't facing top contenders until Silva beat him. Jon Jones is a nice in the public eye and that's all that matters, not sure what you guys see that is fake about him, i admit he looks smug and cocky but he's the champ.

I hear what you're saying about the "hype machine" and agree with most examples but not Hughes. And I CAN'T stand Hughes. But thing is, he was a 1 dimensional fighter and so was everyone else during his prime. Even now, many are STILL one dimensional fighters. So, you can't hold that against him.

Unlike Franklin, Hughes beat the best of the best from all over the world in his prime. He truly was the GSP of his day.

And again, I can't stand, well couldn't stand Hughes at all.

I really don't know what people want from Jones... Can someone please explain what happened specifically? I haven't really seen him be disrespectful. I saw him get frustrated at an interviewer once because he didn't want to talk about Rashad, but other than that he seems pretty good... I usually agree with most everything you say, but I can sense the underlying bias toward page vs. Jones

Jones gassing beore page, not gonna happen did you watch pages last fight . It was pathetic. After a half of a round Page was gassed, couldn't lift his arms, had no snap in his punches. I actually quite felt bad n embarrassed for page while watching it.

The deeper the fight goes the more Jones has the advantage, imo. Jones can be beat but page is def. not the one.
