  • lol this is why i dont want to get a spyderco lol im young i wont be able to take the pain xD

  • That is nothing to cry for fancy.

    Is it healed now?? :D

  • @zzzGunszzz haha yes i would imagine so after three years.

  • @phuckq tool.

  • chemtrails detected xD

  • i just got 1 like that

  • Sliced the top of the thumb off with a Tenacious straight out of the box. Not bad, bled a lot.

    It's the blade retention!!

  • @chestertheman1 haha same thing happened to me, just got it for christmas and bout an hour later, sliced my thumb open...-__-

  • @phuckq It's not like he cut off a finger, but it is a pretty good cut.

  • muahahahahaha! the tenacious seems to like biting people

  • haha i love how there's just blood everywhere; in the bag, on his first aid kit... xD "there's some blood splatter, which makes it look cool!" nicee...

  • lol i just got that knife today and got a brutal cut from it ive soaked 3 tissues with blood

  • Did anyone notice the massive chemtrails behind nutn?

  • a similar thing happened to me with my paramilitary 2 except it was loose in my pocke

  • I always date my first aid kits.

  • yeaaaa, thtz gunna attract tha ladiez

  • i have a cut almost in the same spot! except not to brag or anything but mine was a little worse, i stabbed my self (like an idot) in the area in between my thumb and index finger, it was about an inch long and i could see clearly inside my hand and see the muscle and the back side of my palm! it was gross!

  • OMG did he survive that?

  • I got a new Tenacious not long ago, the guy at the counter said "keep bandaids handy, the first week is when you cut yourself"

1 week and havent got a cut from the Tenacious (yet?)

Also the new one wouldnt open on its own like that

One thing ive realised is that you cant treat it like a normal knife, you have to treat it like a Tenacious

  • Comment removed

  • uhm.....this is a TINY wound.....don´t be a wuss! wipe off the blood....and it´s fine!

  • Not to be a dick but why was there a normal band aid.I dont think a normal band aid would do much for that war wound..

  • clean cut no pain A_A

  • No offense but I kind of hate you

  • @AnusBanus5 That's ok. When you get a little more mature, you'll probably outgrow it. -- Veri

  • that's not even bad. my friend got cut way worse than this, and he survived. although the nurse almost killed him, she didn't clean the wound properly, and he almost got blood poisoning.

  • Cuz the first thing everyone does is when they get cut is get out there video camera

  • @guitarfreak0305 Well not like he's gonna die from that within 2:30mins.

  • TENACIOUS D NOT TENACIOUS CUT!

  • I always thought it was best to keep wounds moist (after disinfecting of course). I remember reading some medical article that said they discovered that was the case--wounds tend to heal better if moist rather than dry. Maybe it's because if they're dry they get reinjured more readily. Anyway, this is disappointing to hear about the Tenacious, since I just got one.

  • i thought this is some Tenacious D tribute band

  • Now I don't know if I should the Spyderco Tenacious or Kershaw Skyline? Unless the Spyderco makes another model just like the tenacious but with a saftey lock in it.

  • don't always use peroxide, it drys the skin really fast and badly. use alcohol instead or something along those lines. hope your doing ok man, love your videos, don't be losing fingers on us now!

  • look at those chemtrails nutn, the government wants you dead:(

  • ha ha ha ! Just happened to me 1 hour ago while cutting cardboard. Got a big cut on my left index... No pain at all but it bloods like crazy ^^

I won't cut cardboard with a serrated knife anymore ;-)

  • @dangerousretard420 LOLOL if it'll happen to you you will cry like a fucking girl dumbass

  • thats hot haha do you play five finger fillet?

  • I just got Spiderco Tenacios and of course I wanted to test it. And... Boom! I cut ma finger open. Grat, sharp knife. I now it first hand, well first finger =)

  • you should be more careful .

  • @ 0:05 two big chemtrails on his head

  • my tenacious cost me 12 stiches in the web between ny index and middle finger.

Great knife. Totally my fault, but I gotta go with the curse.....

  • funny story.. while I was checking nives to buy in the store.. I opened the tenacious.. and while closing it I cut my thumb on the blade!! it's CURSED

  • what the heck !

  • nice u were prepared

  • wow thats a deep one...wow

  • Do you remember where you got those mini bottles? It's hard to find something that small that does not leak. Thanks!

  • thats what you get for wearing a fanny pack! :P

  • its gleaming in the sun

  • Ya not such a great idea to bring a freaken knife in ur fanny pack

  • Thats a nasty cut. I have had a cut Like that on my index finger, heck it hurt

  • Yeah I just cut my thumb with my new pocketknife a day after buying it. Felt stupid.

  • ohh shut thats gross

  • Hey nutn at 0:08 I can see chemtrails in the sky , where do you live ?

  • At least you know the knife is sharp.

  • @Avatar230594 haha

  • Lol @ there is blood on my first aid kit... It looks cool... Lol of course you would say that

  • I really, really love your reviews, and I'll tell you what,I'm sooo really jealous of how organised you are,I wish i was but I just haven't got it in me!!

  • Anyone else notice the Chem-trails in the sky?

  • Yep, peroxide will just dissolve any clots and make the bleeding worse.

  • Actually, instead of pouring H2O2 on your wound, I'd suggest normal saline if you have any available for cleaning (soap + water is perfectly fine, but it stings). H2O2 will actually destroy your tissue being a very, VERY powerful oxidizer. It'll tear the iron right out of your hemoglobin hence the bubbling (oxidation of Hemoglobin to form Iron Oxide and other shit). It's the reason my hospital and just about all other hospitals around the world stopped with the H2O2.

  • o.o no wonder its called a "spyder"co xD

  • huge chemtrails over you

  • 0:58 :p

  • is that fake? i think so because the knife didnt have blood on it.. and how would it open by itself? if it's not then sorry...

  • @justgottasmilies clean the knife?

  • @justgottasmilies ive done that and the knife isnt gonna get blood on it

  • @justgottasmilies sharp knives cut cleanly, so it wouldnt bleed instantly, it'd take a few seconds for you to even know you've been cut until u see the blood.

  • thats the daily me, breaking windows with my hands is dangerous :P

    i get cut every time

  • thanks for the warning everyone,,,almost bid on one...not now...i am always accident prone with saws and knives

  • combat gauze!!! lol or some kerlix...

  • in soviet russia the knife comes and cut you!

  • dude one time i stabbed my hand with a sword :P

  • Yikes !

  • its funny coz in britain i cut the top of my finger open(hanging off) and i was told just to let the blood drip into a bucket and let it heal on its own and i was only 11 at the time lol talk about europe being toughies :)

  • MDR chochotte

  • Just like on Final Destination! Things happen when nobody make it happen. Except you didn't die.

  • that was small but looks painful.

  • danm

  • it glistens!

  • Nutn Im a big time follower and signed up to say I just got my Spyderco Tenacious in today and I cut the ever loving Sh*$ out of my hand not but an hour after opening the box. I think the Tenacious is cursed, I saw another video reviewing it and they guy sliced his thumb open. Thought it was kinda funny so thought id share it. Other than that great knife, keep up the reviews. Check out Gerbers EZ out DPSF, lemme know what you think.

  • @MrPecos44 I hope you are ok. I know it took months for Nutn's hand to heal from this cut (he should have gotten it stitched up). The Tenacious has bitten more people than any other knife I know of! -- Veri

  • @MrPecos44 i have actuly had the same this is my 3 day having a spydeco(im 10) it was a spring assist and i almost put a hole in my thuumb dint get hurt but that was my warning about it and mrs veri yes the bite has snaped me haha hope ur ok ok thats all bye now take care soooooooooooooooo okay bye

  • @MrPecos44 got mine today and no kidding I cut the tip of my thumb off. SOB the curse is real!!!!

  • @MrPecos44 I got a tenacious about a year ago and i too have cut myself to the bone twice

  • My brother had worse when he was at work, was workin on a buildin, giant steel plate feel down he grabbed it, got cut real deep at his thumb, lost some control for his hand. And its been like that for 3 years

  • That was clever.

  • I cut my fingertip almost off, definitely severed but i neglected going to the doctor, now, when I did this, I did not use a tefla pad, partly cause I was freaking out. I cant stress this enough, USE A TEFLA PAD, two days later when I went to re-dress the wound and clean it, the bandage started healing into the wound, getting it off was the most painful thing I've ever experienced, I almost passed out from the pain and it totally nauseated me, it was really bad.

  • Ouch. Things like that happen and that's why we use the word accident. Accidents just happen, you keep your blades razor sharp. Like your spirit you are pressing on to do the reviews. I hope The Nutnfancy Project gave you a gold star or a silver bullet, for your wound. Good advise you gave us.

  • Hello, I finally dare watching your video ;) because I just ordered a (serrated) Tenacious. Ouch... I once cut myself while closing my Kershaw Leek (it was my first assisted knife and I was training to get used with the mechanism). It wasn't painful, and the cut was tiny. I noticed because of the non-stop bleeding. But I'm grateful for this experience because it made me aware of the responsibility of bearing a sharp knife.

  • i was wondering how that happened in your infidel review

  • " I forgot it was in there..." and then " oh I got that knife in the back pocket there..."

  • my girlfriend put a cafe recipe spike through her hand and i pulled it out missed everything vital and did not even bleed went straight through from her palm to the other side between her pinky finger and the other one. .. and i also sliced the skin between my thumb and pointer finger on a door handle (don't ask) and did nerve damage and blood was pulsating out every heart beat ;) took of my shirt to cover it while my mother took me to get it stitched up .

  • Btw it flew out as I tripped and went through my hand it was sore I just put vinegar on it I cried no joke it was that bad but this is two years later I was in the army they healed it I was known as shit magnet from then lol but now I'm goingbto do fpsrussia type vids with awesome guns and knifes and show you my wound not now though

  • Comment removed

  • i don't thing that you would pass out from blood loss from that cut... no major vessels or anything...

  • olmost a 1.000.000 views,. thats cool

  • Tenacious D cut! :D

  • Not a bad cut but a nice little video showing just a simple patch up job.

Thou i find it funny that I've stopped noticing when i get cut anymore almost, so every now and then i'll look at my hand and see some random cut somewhere on it.

  • I love the negative comments to this video. All you people saying this is a pussy cut are the same people that use the ER as your PCP. Nutnfancy knows what he's talking about, and he's recommended a lot of products (that I've purchased) that I love. So if it was a deep cut, then it was deep cut. Period. Go back to your accounting jobs people, where sit in a cubicle all day pushing paper and thinking you're tough when you're actually a pussy.

  • I fell on a knife went through my Hand luckily Iam Russian so I was fine lol

  • i havent been cut bad by a knife in a long time, but i just gashed my arm with my karambit, i was more impressed that the knife was still that sharp than i was scared, but you live and you learn haha

  • December 24 at 8:00 in the morning a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Johnson was found dead.Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother cecked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened.Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repost a chain letter. If you don't repost this to six videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight.Sorry don't want to die

  • zombie

  • chem trails

  • Ohhh thats sucks.

  • lol i almost cut my arm in half :P i wish my cut was as bad as yours...Do you know when you cut yourself soo clean you dont bleed?!?! well alteast not for 30-50 seconds...yep

  • lol its made in china :)

  • ih xD

  • I always date my first aid kits... Thats what she said

  • I fell on the ground and scaped half my both knees rashed my hands and you could see my meat... It was bleeding like crazy... My blood went through my white shorts and painted them... Lol.. Luckily I was near a nurse so I got a gaint bandage for both my knees and it healed in around 2-3 months ... I can still see a black spot 2inches long...

  • @123808allday123 hahahaha nice find

  • Wow thats sucks. I was fucking around with my sword and it slipped and clean cut me in the tender place beside my knuckle. Cut through the nerves so it didnt hurt. The ER just glued it up.

  • Quem trails were distracting me until i saw the raw cut

  • Lol I'm just wonderin... Why were you tryin to get a knife while you were driving?

  • I'm nauseated

  • i got alittle light headed looking at it lol

  • @sortaAWSOMEish

you ought to not ever USE a knife then...

use it long enough any tool will hurt you.

i have owned knives for almost 20 years, i dont even notice half the time i cut myself anymore.

use em, you lose your fear of them...

  • @Arteanor im just not use to it.... you've been using knives for 20 years... im 14 my mom just started letting me have knives.... lol

and i havent been cut by a knife (of my own) yet

so anyway im sure when you first started with knives and such you probably got alittle light headed looking at deep bloody wounds.... ;)

  • @sortaAWSOMEish

    not so much.

not to say you should gash your hand open on purpose just to acclimatize yourself... but in a situation you will need to keep your wits about you ( people leaking lots of blood) you should train yourself to cope with it if you can manage.

  • @Arteanor lol i said i got alittle light headed i didnt say i passed out :P

anyway people can get use to anything... i mean look back at 100 years ago and look at today... people sure got use to alot of terrible things

  • @sortaAWSOMEish

"i said i got alittle light headed i didnt say i passed out :P"

    i didnt say you did...

but now that you mention it... light headed at a picture means a real spurting wound and your hitting the floor bud.,..

  • @Arteanor "light headed at a picture means a real spurting wound and your hitting the floor bud.,.."

im not really sure what you mean by that but anyway there is no point in this conversation except to keep a conversation going.... so anyway last words for this conversation

i did get kinda light headed but thats just because im not use to it

you think i should own knives because im not use to seeing blood

i dont care im gonna get use to seeing blood the more i own knives

    conversation over

  • Do you want a kiss on it?

  • chem trails in the background!!!

  • i cut my leg split open with a tin can

  • i cut my leg with a tin can

  • your fine... i am fckin 12 almost 13 and my dog ripped open my lip twice and i lost more blood than u... your fine

  • @RLSEI whoa whoa tough guy calm down, he giving informative advice for future reference

doubt your scrawny, fat lipped ass could stitch up your own wound

  • AHHHHH AH AHHHH!

    Guiltyyyyyyy!

  • putting rubbing ahcohol on a open wound will kill the flesh around it making the healing process longer thats why it stinges

  • i did somthing ike that but i cut straight to the bone so i couldn't stretch my thumb anymore Oops

  • How did the knife open itself? I have a Tenacious, and an Ambitious, along with a few other Spydies. None of them have ever opened themselves in any type of carry position or setup. Unless you had deliberately loosened the pivot I don't see how the knife could have opened itself. That's like a gun going off without someone pulling the trigger. It doesn't happen

  • @rwb1500 You're right. We rethought this and decided that the knife did NOT open by itself once it was thrown in the fanny pack by jostling around amongst the other stuff that was in there... How dumb were we to even imagine that could happen? it was actually opened by magic elves that live in there and wait to cause mischief. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy maybe the knife wasn't duracoated properly.HAHAHAHAHA

  • @rwb1500

You just made yourself sound hella stupid. Remington has a rifle that is notoriously known for going off when you have it loaded and turn the safety off WITHOUT TOUCHING THE TRIGGER. The gun is called the Remington 700. The gun misfires whenever you have it loaded and turn the safety off. Good job on making yourself look stupid.

  • @rwb1500 and who the fuck has time to post vids of random cuts, its not even a bad one.

  • @rwb1500 Dude, guns have gone off by themselves. sks (pretty that's one) rifles have been known to fire because the pin is actually loose and so a jostle or a heavy vibration will cause it to bounce, and if it's loaded it's going to fire.

  • @rwb1500 guns going off without pulling the trigger?!?? yes they do!!! did you hear about a farmers son while they were going hunting. so the kid put the gun on his shoulder and it fired accidentally and killed his dad.

  • I took this as a post to comparison so I got something of equal pain, or maybe a little bit worse...last week I cut my finger nail too short, that was certainly very uncomfortable for close to a week.

  • dude i got worse

  • great knife!

  • i had about the same thing happen but to the web of my toe with a screw, it went to the bone and cut tendons, and i didnt clean it properly the first couple days and it almost got infected badly

  • hahahaah Fucking awesome I hate it when that happens.

  • sorry bro, i had a chunk of meat picked outta the bottom of my thumb's knuckle to the bone once, by a thin sheet of steel, tried to wirl around to get it over :/...they really hurt x.x...oh and by the way, i couldnt help but say this..the preview picture looks like a penis :) alrighty man hope it healed up good, my scar looks like a huge ass pale freckle :) :O freakiest part was, i picked up the cone of meat...it was all sqishy XD

  • sorry bro, i had a chunk of meat picked outta thumb's knuckle once by my fridge :/...they really hurt x.x...oh and by the way, i could but say this..the preview pickture looks like a penis :) alrighty man hope it healed up good, mines a weird lookin scar.

  • @Shaado86 Don't worry I'll come over and cut your thumb off then say be an man k?

  • Never cut towards yourself. I almost stabbed myself in the worst possible place with a Benchmade once. I got lucky and only put a hole in my pants. That could have been bad. Really, really bad.

  • @cisnerosevan Sperm loss -_-

  • Veri owns trolls :)

  • phany packs r dangerous

  • @XxEliteMin3rxX fanny pack... not phany pack -_-

  • eeewww

    that hurts

  • this is why reviews like these are very helpful, i am deciding between getting the tenacious or the manix, but seeing a vid about some possible detent issues with the tenacious will definitely factor in my decision...thnx for keepin it real Nutn!

  • babaca

  • If you're gonna carry this knife in a pack of some kind, slipping a sturdy rubber band around it is probably a good idea.

  • Once I was cutting something and I dropped the knife :O and now I have a little cut scar on my leg and a HUGE scar on my foot

  • woah that looks like it hurt! i once cut myself with an razor blade, it just took of a little chunk of meat.... but urs looks like it hurt A LOT more

  • i like trains

  • Iodine is always the best for using on all kinds of wounds. If your wound may have lots of bacteria in it, as the hydrogen peroxide boils the blood it can push other germs deeper into your tissue. Rinsing it with warm water then peroxide would be a good idea if you don't have iodine(get some or you could get infected). Random medical tip #1

  • Hhehehehhhehe...Fanny pack

  • I just read comments on this video and they were all like fmls

  • just sayin' i dont know many people who wear a phany pack.

  • @stoptheemotions Lets just hope you know some people who can actually spell it. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy why you so angry? LOL I WEAR A FANNY PACK!!!

  • @stoptheemotions you cant mess with my fanny pack!

  • @stoptheemotions Most fanny wearers are concealed carriers. Great way to conceal without printing...

  • @stoptheemotions Thanks to nutn I now have respect for dudes with fanny packs. They may be ready for war with that little pouch =) wish I could pull one off myself

  • @stoptheemotions steve karydnal does

  • @werewolfbeast566 damn... I would be in for murder

  • hommie ive lost an eye and gotten stitches uncountable times im 15 what are you 36? 50? -.- god damn.

  • @7ryhard I guess cause you are only 15 that you mistakenly think this is a contest. Sorry about the eye. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @7ryhard You lost an eye? Haha... Sorry.

  • @7ryhard what, u think cuz ur 15 and you have had all these painful things happen to you we think ur tougher n hell????dont think ur tougher n anyone else, did you see him bitching about it???it was a fuckin cut he wanted to show...if anything, you need stop being such a bitch. ur 15...do you really think you would talk to an adult like this face to face..whats up with all these little fuckers bein brave. why dont you take more time being carful. instead of loosing an eye, and getting stiches..

  • @7ryhard how do you lose eyes uncountable times?

  • @7ryhard 50? Lol More like 90

  • I feel your pain, Unfortunately. I was once holding a machete when my brother wanted to "snatch" it from me, and I got a lovely cut to the bone in the bend of my thumb. Things like that always make you realize how much worse it could be.

  • @SuperFatty3 Ouch, ouch, OUCH!!!!! I probably will think about this post for a long time.. -- Veri

  • @SuperFatty3 That's like a paper cut pain times a million. D:
