Technically O'Riely is right. The definitin of a lie is "to make an untrue statement with intent to deceive". So if you believe something to be true, and it's not, this makes you wrong... not a liar. I saw this interview, and Michael Moore, and Moore was wrong and his point of view is just stupid. However.... Al Gore simply Lies!!!

Creativebuzz, you're right, I don't usually make cheap attacks like that without defending them :) I just thought there was universal consensus on O'Reilly's idiocy, so... anyhoo... Firstly, i disapprove of his approach. If you disagree with him, you have to shutup or be told you're an idiot. Not very intellectual. His logic about Iraq is all wrong. He wants asked letterman a yes/no question of whether he wants America to "win" in Iraq, and letterman gave a thoughtful response. But O'reilly was just hoping to label letterman, not understand what he really has to say. I'm an American and I don't want the Bush to succeed in Iraq. I want the US to win, but Bush isn't looking after the US' interests. O'Reilly's really dangerous; I'm serious. When someone thinks they're always right, you've got a problem!

Wiki, Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that's what make Am. great. I personally like Bill O, and I typically agree with his point of view. I believe he really has Am's best interest at heart. He has said some thing I don't agree with, as has Bush. I also want US to succeed in Iraq.. that's a good way to put it. However, I do think Bush believes what he is doing is right. He knows he has made early mistakes, but I like his convictions, and hopefully we can be out sooner rather than later.

That's not true. I have many.... MANY, friends who have complete opposing views. I have no problem debating them and giving my point of view. I mention that I believe Bill O... IS fair... and balanced as he says he is. It's MY opinion. Hannity on the other hand is too right for me. BUT, when I get blasted for defending someone I think does a good job... He claimed his earlier show, Inside Edition, won two Peabody Awards when it actually only won a single Polk award (won for reporting that was done after O'Reilly left the show). These examples are not rumors, they are undisputed, well documented facts. There are plenty more examples of O'reilly's mistakes, carelessness and bias. You can apologize for him all day long, but the facts clearly call into question his credibility as a journalist, not to mention his obvious ideological bias.
