babyface talks like legendary hollywood star, edward g robinson who was known for his gangster movies. also the irony of this being that batman was created by bob kane..bob kane had another character he created as a cartoon series courageous cat & minute mouse ( his animal version of batman & robin) they had a villian called "the frog" who spoke like babyface.

most of these villians were made in the 20's-50's ideas and perceptions were different back then.

Many of the villains used in this show are either A) litterally cartoony (cause its a show for kids). B) old and lame DC comic book villains or C) The characters are "cheesy-fied" to fit this cartoon which has the same sense of the Adam West Batman show.
