For those that haven't tried it, this is harder than it looks. Especially if the carrier is moving towards you and not stationary. I do it with an F6F. Search slrman on youtube. Great job here, I like it a lot!
Even harder is when the carrier is moving, not standing still. Then you have speed in the wrong direction to deal with. See my video response. I think though, the F6F is easier to do than the F4U.

Very COOL! 1st time I ever saw a deadstick corsair landing on a carrier from the wrong end - and lived to tell the tale!!!! EXCELLENT!!!!
