  • xaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaaaaa!!!!

  • Now, my point of view in the older fighters is that: Let'a take plain boxing for example. From the very beggining, you get punched and stuff. The good thing is that you get hardened with time and you are resistant to hits but the bad thing is that when you get older for example, you could suffer from headaches and brain damage. On the contrary with wing chun, it might take more time to get as tough as a boxer but you don't get too heavy blows and hits. in that way you can maintain balance

  • and don't suffer from oncoming problems.

What martial art are you practicing? I guess boxing but what exactly?

  • Well, maybe i got a little bit too overwhelmed in my answers.. anyhow, I don't say " don't tell your opinion if it's bad, tell it only if it's good" You were like " W C sucks and that's all" Well, I agree too in the fact that the wing chun fighters are not as hardened as kick boxers for example, but the difference is that wing chun has more technique that kick boxing (I think), I mean I guess it's easier to learn kick boxing moves, rather than learning all the wing chun moves and stuff.

  • You should respect every martial art, despite if you like it or not, who knows, you might face a wing chun fighter one day...

And something to end cuz I don't have all the time in the world. This Video was shot in 2005 and now it's 2009. Both, teachers and students become better and better. Please don't bother to answer me because I see that you are disrespectful in the Wing Chun System and you will certainly find another one "flaw" bye bye.

  • And hell, myai thai fighters and kick boxers might be harder and more durable than us but have you considered that problems may occur when they reach 40 or 50? have you seen boxers at that age? Yip Man was still able to perform moves and train his thechnique despite being so old... Did you know that a single punch on the head destroys permanently 100.000 brain cells? Boxers are tough but they wont be for ever...

  • I don't say that my hand will absorb 100% of the thrust of the kick but the most of it. The elbow is a hard bone and it's suitable for this job. And by the way, I know that the upper section of the foot is much softer than the elbow, and tell me if you disagree on that...

2nd thing you should know is that we are not just practicing the techniques but we do some sparring at the same time.

  • if you keep talking shit about wing chun I wish you will get your Gay ass kicked sometime by a wing chun fighter, to take the taste

  • Dude i have fight with kick boxer and i do this block i have to tell you that his leg shmashed to my elbow ,,, he cryes from pain... but beacuse you are shity kick boxer ( i mean you dont practise , but you see a lot of movies and k-1 fights in tv and youtube ) you dont understund what that block do.... so piss of dont mess with wing chun fighter...

  • and HELLOOOOO this is a demo not a sparring session. It's purpose is to show the moves and their application, not how they will be in a real fight. Go write your crap somewhere else. I'm proud that this person is my wing chun teacher so stfu

  • DO you practice any martial art or you just talk shit?

@ 2:39 the main purpose is to block the kick. Then you take advantage of the situation and if you can you throw him away and hit him in the neck. The purpose is not to break the damn neck, just a temporary loss of the breath is enough to shock him and then give advantage to the wing chun fighter. Capiche?

  • You are WRONG because you block the kicks with your elbow and not with the rest of the hand.

  • No he is SiHing Oustagiannidis Pantelis. He is student of Dai Sifu Kiriakos.

  • The one in the video is Dai Sifu Aντωνιάδης Κυριάκος?

  • afta einai

  • Great video, great actors! Pure tech and stances!

  • this video is absolutely true compare to ip man movie....its amazing

  • actually this is an insult

  • How is this different than Wing Chun?

  • nO IS same thing just another name :) (IS SAME )

  • No actually nowadays its the same, but before wing chun was created, there was a separate style called Yong Chun incorporated with crane style

  • Yong Chun Rulez!!

  • Very good video. I have seen this team in a demo, and it was fantastic.homorepellent, why your account was open only for a day? unfair competition.

  • I agree with you, but somehow people get th wrong idea that to fight, to defend yourself and to control an opponent is actually so easy as in the demo looks like.

  • My sifu's 30 years experience in our martial art comes to prove your point. For those who get seriously involved in martial arts these videos are more like a different point of view that you can either embrace or discard. For me it's just good to be able to see how different people and cultures approach the same system. How much of pure technique remains to free sparring or fighting relies on each ones capabilities.
