MPC 2000XL,Midi Controller, Setup to Reason 4.0 Part 3

with this setup like that, which is the master transport...reason or mpc ( meaning which 1 are u pressing start and stop on)? and also, which one, reason or mpc, are u sequencing with? hope these questions make sense.......i got reason 5 and im lookin to get my hands on a 2000xl to give my drums that groove im lookin for, cuz its not in reason. THANKZ in advance homie

How do you record in reason from your MPC? For instants if you have a sample from a floppy or external cd player and you put it in your MPC and play along with the melodie. How can you transmit that sound to reason?

You are the only dude doing something wrong , the computer is recognising your usb port when you hit mpc pad not your mpc ? .... so whats the point of saying connect your mpc output b to your interface

Yeah ive watched this video manytimes it is fucked you contradict yourself so much and it also makes no sense , because you say to connect output b on mpc to device meaning your interface but then when you press pad it comes up as your midi controller ? , yeah good stuff lol

i got to the bit where i pressed the pad on the mpc and it reconized the device but when i enter the channel section to add my modules i cant hear the sound when i press my pads i dont know what im doing wrong lol

Everything is working perfect until I get to Hardware Interface I have REASONs 3 and don't see/have "ADD MIDI DEVICE" button.The window next to BUS SELECT says "No MIDI Input".......I'm assuming your using MPC as MIDI Controller replacing Axiom because you disengaged the MIDI Controller keyboard in Preferences???Nice Vid thanks for the help.

@Jahmylov I think I resolved the issue.In REASONs 3 you have to go back to Preferences..and go to Advanced MIDI..Right???

You can check out Operation Manual,Go to Reason>Preferences>

Preferences Menu>Click Pull Down Menu>Choose Audio>You will see>

Latency Compensation>manipulate Latency with arrows on right.

There's many ways to set this up but through this way of setting it up can you use both mpc and axiom transport controls while using reason as the main sequencer?

he means that the MP is not mapped like a keyboard. I.e. pad 1-16 doesn't go up the scale
