  • High Cortisol; Is Related ,TO ADRENAL FAILURE AND EXHAUSTION , in turn often misdiagnosed and related to all metabolic ; dis / functions. Including ,Thyroid, intestinal, , and many other symtomatic puzzles in the body :Doctor's are really not to the point . Watch "Doctor Borkin's" Video's , For complete Info;

  • all of it is in the diencephalon anyway, backup. :P

  • i have been diagnosed as having hypothyroidism about 2 years ago and take 150mcg of thyroxine,i have trouble occaisionally with speach ,it's like a mental stutter and know what i want to say but it wont come out. When i told my dr he asked me 20 questions of which i got 17 right then sent me to a endocryologist who did the same.I find it hard to explain my symptons,do i need a brain scan?

  • the hypothalamus origin of our brain that integrate information from rest of the body and regulate most of the body endocrine systems an emaple of endocrine system regulated by hypothalamus is the hypothalamopituitary axis. some neurom within the hypothalamus produce and secrete thyrotropine releasing hormone TRH

TRH is secreted into the hypothalamo hypophysio bono vessels and carried into the anterior lope of pituitary gland

  • Hi donatello, thanks for the result, these all symptoms you feel belongs to a control cycle, which has been disturbed through your suprarenalis gland(cushingsyndrom). you have to bring cushing under control , the other symptom will disapear gradually. dont worry about other symproms, now you have to see a Endocrinologist, he is the specialist, he will make ct for the s.gland, if there is a harmless tumor , it will be operated, if all clear then he will adjust you on medication, believe me you w

  • Euthyroid sick syndrome and non thyroidal disease are commonly missed on labs and mistaken, people end up with sudden death, those who have bizarre thyroid levels should always look into it more, its the second major control panel of the body, doctors are not educated enough on this

  • I've been sick for 3 years with abnormal gland results but with no answer...regarding my Thyroid, my T4 is always high. My Cortisal is always High, my pituiratry gland levels, LH and FSH are low, while my prolactin levels are High. I feel and look horrible....I was thinking maybe its my hypothalmus, it's almost like the doctors have given up ;(

I dont have hyperthyroid because my TSH is normal, and i dont have large Puititary gland tomurs since my MRI was fine. what could it be?

  • your t3 and t4 are high you said, make one more lab parameters for glandula suprarenalis those are 17 corticosteroids, you have to collect your urin for 24hrs for lab, tell me the result then i will tell you what to do.

  • I actually just had the 24 Hour urin test done, an AM Cortisal test where i took 2 pills before doing the test, which is tested for Cushings as well and An Insilun test since my Fasting blood sugar is high. An nope, my T3 isn't high...Just my Free T4, Cortisal..while my pituitary gland results come back low, high or even normal at times. testosterone has been low at times and i had high glucose before. yet i tested positive for the ANA tests, and i had a high titre as well ;0

  • my current endo thinks it might be Diabities type 1, cushing's disease or a pituitary problem or hypothalomus problem...I saw a Ruemo and he didn't think i had Lupus or an autoimmune condition. i just want a diagnoses, it's so frusturating

  • Thanks!

  • What about a huge difficiency in T4 levels with healthy T3?

  • erin, low ft4 and normal ft3, is either due to high t3 production in thyroid adenoma or caused by overconversion of ft4 to ft3 by low cortisol. Or by taking t3 containing medication which up t3, but lower the ft4.

  • regarding my thyroid....My T4 is always high, yet my TSH and T3 are always normal...AND i went for a RAIU and my thryoid was mildy overractive...the doctors dont have any answer yet and i've been sick for 3 years. High cortisal levels and abnormal pituitary gland results, i look and feel horrible ;(

  • high cortisol, pituitary..high/normal ft4 and normal tsh and t3..could be cusing's disease.

  • How is that diagnosed? I've had an MRI done on my Pituitary Gland and they saw nothing abnormal, but that still doesn't out rule Micro Pituitary Tumors...Anyways i'm getting a new doctor, starting fresh with someone who will listen to me and be caring and hopefully will know what to do, my endo's clearly dont. But ya, So Cushing's disease may be a possibility eh? so what tests can be done to detect it? thanks,

  • free cortisol urine tests, serum cortisol am/pm sometimes midnight too, saliva cortisol, acth testing.

Only 50% of pit tumors for cushing's show on mri. They can be on adrenal too sometimes. Better read up. If your cortisol is allways high, reason enough to find out why. You can pm me through the youtube options, if needed.

  • Thank you so much for this!

  • great posting, estmulates to pursue further investigation. Added to my favorites.

  • shouldve put negative feedback regulation as the title. that wouldve caught my attention earlier.

  • It's amaizing !!!!!!!!
