Wow beautiful result and looks like you live in a great spot.
Question--is it necessary to nail and screw the boards (4:30 or so). With moisture change will they want to expand laterally and potentially crack if held by nails. Should they instead be in a rabbit that lets them move? I dunno, have a garage door I'd like to replace. Anyway nice job thanks for the vid.
@ndktube the wood i used was pretty much dry...it was oak pallets...so far the door has been holding up no cracking .it has been hanging in the house for a bit now........thanks..like to see the door when you are done
There was no reason for name calling. I will pray for you, God can make you anew and wipe away your anger. Give your heart to Jesus Christ for it will be the best thing you can ever do. God bless you.
Use of power tools really takes away from "rustic" to me. You are good at what you do but build one with hand tools only. That is what makes it "rustic" to me.
Nice! I'm in the process of building a grow out pen /broody coop for my chickens using pallets. Re-purposing stuff that would otherwise become trash is awesome!

"Nails/brads are an abomination to a real craftsman." An old man said that to me once.
