  • iOS's bar is more "widget"bar...

  • *Nice*

  • @techmobo Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinions.

  • Android rapes iPhone. Period.

  • @ivs511 haha notification center has been on iPhone for years, but on jailbreak, so don't think its a giant innovation from android...

  • you forgot to mention one thing on your video....iOS notification system is a total rip off of android's :) too obvious...REALLY obvious..take a look at the notification drawer

  • @TrainerScoobyDoo Maybe. But if you didn't know, iOS 5 Notificaiton Center was made in collaboration with the developer of MobileNotifier (Search for him).

  • @ivs511 uhh...your point? alpha 1 of MobileNotifier released on 2010...android notifications 2008?

  • @TrainerScoobyDoo My point? It is that iOS didn't "really" copy it..It's just that MobileNotifier was built like that. Also, how about camera access from the lockscreen, quick reply button on ICS? All companies copy each other so it's no big deal.

  • @ivs511 so basically MobileNotifier copied android's notification system and placed it on the official firmware...so basically...a preinstalled copycat application on the official firmware...you started copying it...TO BE FAIR! we also copied some of your crapple features (tbh those features are useless, you can just have a camera button -.- and there's a quick reply button on ICS??) :))

  • This Apple notification system was being developed for like 2 years, but was released until now because it was being bug fixed.

  • Wait, that iPod was running on iOS5. Take a look at the slider where you turn thing on and off. In iOS4 it used to be rectangular and in iOS5 it's a bit curved. Not that it's an important thing, but just in case it was necessary to tell

  • @HoodiesAreAwesome Yes man obviously, haha.

  • So apple doesnt copy eh?So funny.

  • apple faggot

  • @ivs511 nice starting animation man

  • @Hamza9028 Thanks a lot :)

  • well at least some apple fanboys are peaceful and honest. i once saw a comment saying that android has always sucked and will suck so bad that amazon wireless sells all android phones for $1. anyway i think the notifications on iOS are nice and that all smartphones should have a notification system like this

  • iOS maybe has copied Android's notification system but Apple made it better ;)

  • Use Microsoft Exchange to set up gmail on the iPod. It pushes them instantly.

  • @1Dumindu2 Hehe I did that right after making this video, lol

  • even with the new io5..iphone need a lot of catching up to do

  • @thatnigga54 I think it's pretty satisfactory..

  • @ivs511 unfortunately in my opinion and based on the opinion of reviewers from tech savy etc...ios5 does not compete that well with ice cream sandwich. So yes it does need to catch up.

  • @nataliepond1 Yes it is a little behind with some things like customization but it will always be better than Android at stability and smoothness. Although you should realize the fact that ICS has been announced but only a couple of devices have it. Most of the devices will get it in the second quarter of 2012. Seriously, should we wait for 6 months? I realize this is a cause of diversity of devices and carriers, but the result is unchanged anyway.

  • @ivs511 ehh..I don't think so I tried the s2 at best buy it was more fluid and smooth than the iphone 4 I had back then..and the delay is mainly due to carriers but google knows this and is trying to push carriers etc to upgrade quicker. With the new android phones and ice cream there is virtually no lag..In my opinion ice cream is superior and more stable compared to ios. Of course it comes down to personal preference. But once ice cream comes out for s2 in Canada I am selling my iphone.

  • @ivs511 also browsing on the iphone 4 is terrible, with the tiny screen.

My friend and I had a speed test his s2 loaded pages faster and it was more easy to navigate and more fluid...he was basically using the internet like he would on a laptop..and actually some of the full desktop versions loaded faster on his phone versus laptop. Anyways I'm sure apple knows of these faults and will probably improve browsing on the iphone 5 and probably improve screen size and probably switch to AMOLED.

  • @ivs511 all in all I look forward to 2012 and seeing the iphone 5 vs galaxy s3.

  • @thatnigga54 in ur damn dreams ios is way better than android ive got both galaxy nexus and iphone 4s

  • @Hamza9028 na ice cream kills everything.

  • You can't get mad at apple. As thomasskyg said, Apple hired a man who made his own notification system. As well, Apple made their touch friendly, more informative, and much nicer to look at all around. They made it good for the consumer who wants frakin phone, not a device to that looks like a tech-only zone.

  • @rifall You sir are a Genius :P I remember when there was news all around when the Dev of MobileNotifier was hired by Apple..

  • 1:20, lol you have some bad weather where you live.

  • @StarShootex Haha, thanks for being so watchful :-)

  • omg yea how did u get 1 minute?

  • @iMackid97 PM me.

  • Apple: We needed a new notification system...so we copied android!

  • @imVerizon

they hired a man who already had invented his own notification system, then Apple worked with him to make the new notification center

  • @thomasskyg You are so true. People just don't get it. He was the developer of MobileNotifier :-)

  • @ivs511

Finally someone who knows the facts, instead of those ultra fanboys who just posts comments based on their first-view of the new things. I love the new iOS it's amazing. I prefer Apple it's a great company, but that new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich actually looks pretty cool...

  • @imVerizon 'few years ago',Samsung:we needed a new hp,so we copied Apple!

  • @imVerizon hey mf the ios notifications r way diff frm the fuckish android ones

  • @Hamza9028 Um...no. just no.

  • @imVerizon You do realize that most core concepts of the android OS came strait from the original iOS don't you? Before the first iPhone, andoid's prototype looked more like blackberry's OS. I think they are both wonderful OS' but they have both borrowed from eachother.

  • get ur self a real life u dump

  • @MrKhalidatlassi This was for me...?

  • i use both

  • your thumb had shit on it

  • imessage adamlydzinski@yahoo.com

  • @guitarede How?

  • @gopeder79 Are you being sarcastic? Seriously I'm not getting you..

  • If you have to jailbreak an iphone/ipod to get the same functionality of an android device than Apple has really dropped the ball.

  • @Daikenhunter There's something called rooting.

  • @ivs511 I know what rooting is. What I'm saying is for the iPhone to get the same great features of an Android phone you have to jailbreak it, nobody rootes an android phone to be more like an iPhone.

  • @Daikenhunter "great features"? Well, what's that? Does Android have voice assistant (No, Google Voice is syntax based and performs only certain tasks)? Does Android have stability? The answer is sometimes, at most it is full of flaws especially HoneyComb. Both the smartphones are good at different places. Thanks for watching!

  • @ivs511 wow Maybe you are smart lol Look every one the iphone is going to be the better phone every time with less lag and so on no mater the specs of your droid but it going to cost you so if your a cheep bitch get the android its an ok os but lags even the best android smartphones so Quit your bitching unless you have one of the better androids and an iphone 4 i my self have the evo 3g with a fast dule core and my iphone 4 soon to be 4s and it has just about no lag where my evo lags a lot

  • @gopeder79 I have the Galaxy SII as I mentioned in the comments below. I'm not saying gingerbead lags, but Honeycomb lags Ass. Added to that, even iPhone lags occasionally. Also, I'm not really sure of what you mean.

  • @gopeder79 Thanks for watching!

  • @ivs511 np thanks for being smart unlike most of the people saying android rock and ios sucks lol if you have the bills to drop get ios if not get something full of lag its called android

  • @ivs511 isn't google coming out with a new voice assistant?

i read it somewhere, not 100% sure though

  • @cloudsymph If it comes after iOS's voice assistant Siri, the AppleFanboys can claim that Android copied iOS. Well, even iOS copied Android. We need to stop creating flamewars..Lol this was off topic XD Thanks for watching! Subscribe if you want more like this :)

  • @cloudsymph

all android 2.2 devices come built in with a voice dialer which acts as an assistant.

    /watch?v=gGbYVvU0Z5s

  • @machinimastartup ahhh i remember seeing this, but i'm meaning google is coming out with a new version, that's more like an AI (i guess), which is kind of what apple is selling it as. but yeah i can't wait for the next reveal from google.

unlike fanboys apple and google fanboys i like to see what's going on for the sake of technology =/

  • @cloudsymph Thanks for watching! And yeah, I like the people who are NOT fanboys of either side :)

  • @ivs511 "At most its full of flaws"? How so? The added voice options are just gimmicky at best. Whos gonna sit there and talk to their phone when wanting the weather or to make an appointment on their calender? I can send text/email, place phone calls(even if their not in my contact list), get directions and do general searches. Most of these things I do while the phone is in a cardock. As for the other features you apparently don't know about, how about customization? iPhones don't.

  • @Daikenhunter I was talking about HoneyComb (tablets). Gingerbread is ton more better than HoneyComb. Gingerbread is not really "bug free", but it is comparatively stable. As for customization, Android is the winner. If you ever wanted to customize iOS you always can jailbreak, anyway. The most annoying part of Android phones is the battery. Elsewhere they're nice but certainly not my choice. iPhone and Android are the best smartphones available at the moment! It's all the user's choice!

  • @Daikenhunter Customisation is what scares me away from my Android - Galaxy S II. You can like turn your phone into anything and you wouldn't recognise that it is an android phone there is so much customisation. It also makes the home screen look ugly with all those weather widgets and all that.

That is a reason why I like to stay with iOS, I also think it's a good bit smoother, cleaner looking and better overall (Especially safari). BUT... that's just my opinion, we all have our rights...

  • @tomo0086 Agree. Same with me.

  • @tomo0086 gingerbread is a lot faster then ios5 p.s I looked at my friends galaxy s2..unlike my iphone it's not full of dull and boring square boxes..and it's not packed with widgets either, it's more functional and he was watching megavideo..p.s. the fact that you can customize it means you can make it look beautiful to suit your taste.. he was watching megavideo on the bus ride home! I can't do that on my iphone I'm switching soon.

  • @bambam7180 Yeah customization on Android is better. Although battery and smoothness is not so cool with less amount of apps. Anyways thanks for watching! :) I'm not trying to change your mind or something like that, haha

  • @ivs511 haha na I understand everyone has their own views, discussion is cool. But yeah android is going to surpass the number of apps in the app store I believe by the end of the year if it has not done so already lol and my friends androids has a longer battery life then my iphone4.

  • @bambam7180 Nice to see people who are not hardcore Android/Apple fans. Thanks for watching again. And yeah, obviously a newer battery would be better than the old one! We'll see if it surpasses the "number", the quality is always going to be worse no matter what specs you have on your Andriod phone becuase the developers have to optimize the apps to run on the worst and the least tech-spchy-phone. Thanks for watching! :)

  • @ivs511 Apps have features to lower and raise the game specs, and they are going to stop making low-end phones now, almost every phone has a dual core. I'm a fan of both apple and android, currently i'm an iphone 4 user but I think android is the future because well...100 million people own it, they are the first to accept new technology like nfc, google wallet LTE networks....And I'm just kind of pissed that I'm limited to youtube on my iphone when flash works so smoothly on other phones.

  • @samiamred Yes, I agree with you that Apple "limits" technology. Certainly Android is advancing in technology but, Apple is advancing in a different way..And btw, there's actually no use of Flash. You wouldn't like to play farmville when there's already an app for it :P That's just my opinion..And last thing, as far as I've experienced flash is not so "smooth and fluid", it just works. Thanks do much for watching and critical appreciation :)

  • @ivs511 haha nice to have some peaceful discussion I did not even know it was possible on youtube, in terms of flash my sister has the S2 and its faster then me using flash on my laptop!...in terms of uses I connected a bluetooth mouse to her phone haha...but yeah that is just a cool extra...but what she can do is watch, videos on megavideo, videobb, videozier..etc I can't do this on my phone which is annoying.

  • @samiamred Yeah, I like peaceful debates :) People have been disliking my videos because I like Apple. If anyone comments that Apple is nice; LONG flamewars take birth..haha. Other than that yeah it's annoying..But HTML5 ftw :P No jus keeding..But Android is nice :) I like it but it's not my preference! Did you see my video on iPad 2 vs. Galaxy Tab 10.1? :)

  • @ivs511 yepp but almost all phone if not all new android phones have >>specs then the iphone 4s.

  • @bambam7180

Camera, no. The 4S beats the SII narrowly, and the Nexus by a large margin.

Battery, no. Even with the battery issues, it beats out any Android

GPU, 4S wins handily, usually double the SII and Nexus

CPU, 4S is above the SII, but slightly below the Nexus. Slightly

Display, well it had the best up til Nexus came

So in no way are Android phones>>iPhone

  • @ls600h1 My iphone feels like a kids toy after I tried the s2.

In my opinion the S2 is smooth and fluid both the iphone and nexus have there small mishaps. Once the s2 gets the ice cream update, I'm selling my iphone cause that phone will demolish anything and many reviewers agree with me giving the s2 5/5...anyways it does not matter it's just a phone and depends on personal preference. Some people like the iphones simple screen just full of square boxes not a big deal.

  • @ls600h1 not that it really matters it is just a phone but you got some facts mixed up.

processor Samsung Galaxy S II – Dual Core 1.2 or 1.5 Ghz processor

iPhone 4S – A5 dual core processor.. Samsung wins..I would also like to mention apple do not make or barely any of the parts the processor and chips are actually supplied by samsung...the iphone LCD screen is also inferior retina vs super AMOLED plus with gorilla glass this is proven in drop tests and contrast balance and viewing angle.

  • @ls600h1 in terms of camera they both have good ones Samsung Galaxy S II – 8 mega pixel rear and 2 MP front facing

iPhone 4S – 8 mega pixel rear and basic VGA camera on front

galaxy s2 batter lasts longer then the iphone. Memory goes to samsung. I would say camera goes to apple. Network and speed LTE goes to Samsung...all in all it comes down to personal preference and also if you want to fit in with the sheep or stand out.

  • @samiamred

LTE BTW is a battery drainer. Some said that with it on, they're car chargers couldn't keep up with the drain.

Also, don't forget CPU and GPU, which both go to the 4S, (4S GPU produces double the pps).

But you are correct, it does all come down to personal opinion.

I was just replying to the comment that said Android phones >> iPhone.

So if I get an iPhone, of my own accord, I'm a sheep. But you want to convince people to be unique by listening to you and getting a phone? Ridiculous.

  • @ls600h1 not all s2 have LTE...but the speed is amazing. No the galaxy s2 has a more powerful GPU and CPU...I do not know where you got your stats from. Also apple barely makes any parts i.e processor is made my samsung...the easily shatter prone screen is made by LG....and no I am saying generally people buy the an iphone simply because it is an iphone and has an apple logo on it with no regard for the type of software or hardware it runs.

  • @samiamred ignore the grammar errors it's 2 am here lol

  • @samiamred

    just google iphone 4s benchmarks...

  • @ls600h1 ok.it's just a phone I really don't care that much. I have owned both the s2 and the iphone they were both ok

    from gizmodo(dot)com..stock browser galaxy nexus>Iphone 4s>Galaxy s2.

Graphics 4s>s2>galaxy nexus....also test varied on different conditions. All in all a benchmark is just a benchmark it depends on what os you prefer etc. So if someone likes an iphone they should get an iphone and if someone likes and android phone they should get a galaxy nexus or wait for Icecream on the s2.

  • i have an ipod touch and the ios without a jailbreak is just a piece of shit

i cant wait for the nexus prime to be released i think its gonna be awesome and much better than the iphone 4, 5,10 whatever i dont think i will buy any ios again someday

  • @MrGzzzzz You'll regret it when you find shitload of bugs in Android and less apps. But then if you want more customization, Android is the winner.

  • @ivs511 look i dont care much about the apps, maybe i was but now all i care about is the OS and i havent tried the ICS and i dont think u did so please dont judge if it will have alot of bugs or no

But one way or another i will buy the NP and we'll see what is better

  • @MrGzzzzz Yeah but don't start comparing with the iPhone 4. iPhone 5 is on it's way ;) Btw did you watch other videos in this playist? Be sure to check them out and subscribe if you'd like to..:)

  • @ivs511 lol, dude i changed my mind from ios to android after i compared GB to ios4

just tell me how will u chose anything without comparing it to others

i think this is why u still a fanboy to apple

and for the iphone 5 i'v heard it will be released in 4th of Oct

  • @MrGzzzzz Cheers..Btw I have the Galaxy SII, Galaxy Tab 10.1, iPod touch 4g and iPad 2. I've made comparison videos..Be sure to watch 'em! :)

  • Therefor, android sells 500,000 phones a day vs apple. Ipad ipodtouch iphone all together 325:/ poor

  • @liitleangels Tell you what..Android has 100s of mobile handsets compared to iOS which has 4. Well, then every Android phone is selling 1/50th compared to iOS. haha poor Android :P

  • Android beats ios on alllllllllllllll videos on youtube and all comparisons

  • @liitleangels Well you watch specific videos..haha! :P Anyways check out my playist of iOS vs Android.

  • Fail copy

  • @aarony17 Sorry I didn't get you?

  • @ivs511 iphone notifications are a copy 4 android

  • @aarony17 Yerp, type of..But you know what? Newton copied Galileo..

  • @ivs511 where did you get that black blueprint iPhone background? I've been looking all over for one like that and the only ones I could find are the blue version of that wallpaper, and a less sketchy one with the app arrows in the middle in a cross (yes I know it's pretty much it, but im that sort of perfectionist who can't go with that when there's a better one available). could you send a link for that wallpaper? thanks

  • @Theevangelist10 I can't find the wallpaper at the moment :( Check out "WallpapersHD" in the appstore..It's free and it has lots of cool wallpapers! :D Maybe subscribe? :)

  • @guitarede lol yeah! :P Thanks for watching this so dedicatedly. :D Subscribe maybe? :)

  • What game is that? Thanks in advance

  • @Rhantis "Cut the rope" Please do consider subscribing if I help you out! :)

  • I'm trying to decide: iPhone 5 (when it comes out) or Nexus S. What are some advantages of Android?

  • @TheCBGamer Let's wait for iPhone 5 to release. Rumors have been claiming for iPhone 5 to 8MP Camera and lots of cool stuff. Android has advantages like better customization..Widgets etc. Although it has some disadvantages too, like poor battery, poor security etc. If I were you..I would had got iPhone 5 (when it releases). Anyways, thanks for watching this video! Subscribe if you'd like to! :D

  • @ivs511 Thank you for the answer :) Good vid too!

  • @TheCBGamer Please consider subscribing! :D

  • Do you even know that Push doesn't drain battery life as much as fetching every 15 or 20 minutes?

Push means the server sends a ping to the device which tells the device to check NOW and the phone doesn't need to be connected to the server constantly

  • @Drybones5 Nope, I don't. :( :P I keed.

  • Take the phone cases off when u do a vid.

  • @haichtee Thanks for the thoughtful comment! :)

  • iOS is better Ever :D

  • Android is beast

  • @bwaschenko Different people different opinions..I don't really have a say in this..

  • @F3lixMjamjar I don't want to turn it into a flame-war..You like Android, I like iOS. It's just our opinions.

  • @ivs511 then why did u make the video? lol, every iOS vs android vid is destined to become a flame war

  • @RefreshChannel It's not like that..I don't know why people have such mindsets..Anyways nice username :P

  • @ivs511 i was joking, i like the video. but you gotta expect it to turn into one. Just try to enforce not to i guess.

  • @RefreshChannel Haha :] Could you subscribe to me? =/

  • @ivs511 sure :)

  • @refresh967 This is your secondary account!! Haha =P

  • @ivs511 lol actually the first one i used was my secondary. i use that one for talking and refresh 967 for vids. i was trying to switch that around but i didnt want to sacrifice the views.

  • @F3lixMjamjar I don't want to turn it into a flame-war..You like Android, I like iOS. It's just our opinions.

  • Its such a rip off of android

  • @F3lixMjamjar I don't really know. Mobile smartphone companies have been copying each other they will continue to..And really doesn't matter. Apple has done a great job here, nonetheless. Anyways, please do consider subscribing! :D

  • @ivs511 I beg to differ, Apple gets pissed off about copycats and then proves themselves hypocritical.

  • Done.

  • Good job. Whoever disliked is lame. Good video.

  • @merophosis Thanks! =) I don't know why people unreasonably dislike videos without even viewing them! ?_?

Anyways, please consider subscribing to my channel..I've got lots of stuff like this (not foricing u to!)..:)

  • @merophosis That was quick. Tanx a lot! =-}

  • Awesome video my man... Thumbs up from me.

  • nice video man!

  • Beep you just Beeped.. -1

  • @SSJAang ahaha yup.

  • @wemaketechreviewz Tanx! :)
