This was an easy fight for Moore's Bond because Sandor doesn't really fight back. But Sandor is well muscled and should have been able to punch and kick Moore's Bond around equally. The character had to be more trained in hand-to-hand combat.

Roger Moore is just plain ruthless ;) he does a similar thing in for your eyes only where he kicks that car off the cliff with that bloke in it, but just like in this scene he does it because in each case the villain killed a woman, ruthless but with morals I fucking love it! classic bond.

Why did Bond's enemies like to just throw him around so much instead of simply beating the hell out of him???? Odd Job, Jaws, Sandor, etc. waste a lot of time playing 'Bond Toss' when they could be kicking in his face.

In any event, this is my favorite Moore-Bond line: "What a helpful chap."

The fights in these films were always very staged. I will defend Odd Job by saying that he knew the atomic bomb was going to explode and he wanted to pass time on by tossing bond around fort knox. Also don't forget that bond has never been potrayed as a lethal assassin, not even in the new ones. The villian always has to try to kill Bond first so that it looks to the audience that Bond has no choice but to kill them.

@Ian911299 Roger Moore wasn't goofy at all, the 70's/mid 80's Bond stuff seemed just a bit .. cartoonish : walking in a bar in Harlem dressed like a Lord, Scaramanga's theme park, Jaws, the Tarzan howl in Octopussy, and countless other things... It was clearly light-hearted, but he's still my favourite : toughness, wit, mixed with very British coolness.
