His tribe had the majority, his tribe member found the HII, and his tribemates knew to vote him off at the F7 because he had to HIIs. It was also his tribe that occupied all 4 spots in the F4. Just because Cirie wants to vote out precious Yau it's dumb and she's a bitch? She had reason to stick with the four - she was at the core with AMANDA and PARVATI who she went to the end with.

Cirie wanted Yau gone so badly because she'd shared the clues to the immunity idol with Yau... and they had planned to share the idol between them like Yau did with Earl in Fiji. However, when the Favourites won the reward, Yau suggested that Penner go to Exile Island, signalling to Cirie that Yau had told Penner all the clues, and was instead going to share the idol with Penner. So Cirie had to get rid of Yau to prevent Penner and Yau from controlling the idol, and the game.
Cirie was on the outs. No one wanted to ally with her and she might easily have been the first to go. She used luck and opportunity to go from bottom position in the tribe to being the one to decide who was to be voted out. She did the same thing in the previous game she played. That can only be called strategy.
just like in season 15, idiots like Cirie vote out the best people in the beginning of the game, i honestly hope favorites loose all challenges from now on just to prove that yau-man wasn't the one who should have been voted out

Also, the couples were much easier to control, while Jonathan, Ami, Yau-Man, and Eliza were all highly independent people and would've been harder for her to manipulate. So I can see why she went for the couples over the JAYE alliance.

@xanananax Same here...he's probably the only one left that has the brain cells to realize what the best move was for the tribe...he's already played against Parvati once, so he knows that her game is to flirt with the guys on her tribe in order to get her way, and that removing her would really screw the Ozzy/James/Amanda alliance
