my daughter skated competitively for years (roller) and was able to do an invert, but your is the best by a guy that I've ever seen! KUDOS! LONG LIVE ARTISTIC ROLLER SKATING!

This can't be Nationals. I was there at this time. The National floor is always wood since '79. I went to Nationals from '79-'86 as a competitor and as a spectator to '94. Worlds is a different story... sometimes cement or wood, depending on the country.

Sorry to bring you the bad news, but nationals 1985 were held at Skate City Stafford rink in Brisbane.. and the floor was CONCRETE!! just before they put down the wooden floor!! 1982 was concrete in Newcastle, 1981 concrete at Noble Park.. 1983 was on tiles at the Parks in Adelaide.. and then 1984 was wooden!! Melb Ent Centre!

Obviously you are talking about Australia Nationals and I am talking about U.S. Nationals. LOL sorry about the confusion. Australian mens was just really starting to get better at that time.
