  • thats a nice duracoat job, desert sniper style.. 29 palms or ft irwin or over seas in the sand box.. just dont set it down and walk away it will blend in and boom! no more rifle. ha ha ha it's a nice weapon. sniper status big time...

  • Bedliner in a rattle-can works great on rifle stocks too.

  • Looks like an albino abortion.

  • When are we going to see this in action?

  • Nasty color!

  • I agree.. i think that is a good base coat for a digi pattern..doesn't look too good that light..

  • i think this is great but why not throw some camo patterns up on there???

  • rem 700 best all a round long range rifle i personaly use a 700 bdl chamberd in 25-06 cal and have never had a problem with it

  • can civilians obtain this rifle?

  • @revilate yes the remington 700 is also a common hunting rifle

  • @revilate Yep, for around $800- $1000. The SPS Varmint runs on the exact same action (longer barrel) for around $400-$500.

  • What scope is that...

  • looking 2 get a rem 700....... thanks good job as all ways

  • Update vid on it

  • Nice!<3

  • Hey Nutn, when will you drop the Tabletop on this rifle? LOVED to see one!

    Overall, love your work!

  • Any updates on this rifle? You going to do a shoot video/review any time soon? I'd love to see it in action!

  • That gun looks like a piece of art.

  • i think this is spot-on. i commented earlier about your spray pattern just as a tip. but this came out perfect!!!!

  • more bolt gun vids!@#!@#!@

  • beautiful :)

  • great job!

  • @nutnfancy I think it would have looked better a little darker also, but it still turned out ok, what would make it look even better would be a little bit of dark camo strips or leaf pattern (just my oppinion), but while I'm commenting how does a video like this bring out knuckle heads like @ltal0308, where do these people come from and how often do they get their caves cleaned ?

  • @ltal0308 wait... im not american lol... im portuguese

  • Comment removed

  • please what scope is that

  • Would love to see you do some more rifle vids man. I'm limited to rifles and shotgun here in Ireland, currently having a custom 700 built, gonna be sweet!

  • @ltal0308 *yawn* Please, please do something constructive with your time. This is not it. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @ltal0308 you fail so much...

  • Comment removed

  • @ltal0308 and yours is a boot

  • @ltal0308 A rifle is a gun. Any rifle, pistol, and shotguns are guns. If it shoots bullets its a gun. Im 13 and i know that.

  • @MrSwimmerBoyHasItAll A Howitzer is a gun a Rifle is a rifle, but I don't blame you for calling a rifle nor a pistol a gun.

  • @adobo777 no a gun is any weapon that shoots projectiles. a howitzer would be considered artillery. its a gun.

  • @MrSwimmerBoyHasItAll That's what it means now, but has not always been the case.

  • @adobo777 well of course along time ago the gun was considered a fire breathing dragon.

  • @MrSwimmerBoyHasItAll guns are not weapons the person shooting it is.

  • @unclecracker74 guns are not weapons until they are used as one

  • Hey 20 January 2009. Something happenmed that day. Oh yeah we became a Communist Nation

  • @VinnyS914 2008...

  • I would have done some sort of pattern on it, not a fan of just a matte finish.

  • ugliest rifle I ever saw.

  • Have you tried out one of the Duracoat CamoPak's yet. I want to duracoat my Rock River but I afraid I'm going to destroy my gun....

  • looks real cool for coyotes.

  • Great vid nutn, although you should do more vids with different variations of Remi 700's!

  • cool camo but it shines

  • do cyote brown stripes to make a realistic cammo

  • Do some long range vids!!!

  • i dont really like the stand thing on the butt stock but over all it looks awsome i want to do that to mine but a little darker

  • @Nutnfancy - What Scope do you have on that?

  • OMFG JUST SHOOT >:O

  • @DJUygur100 - Watch "Sniper Prime" by Nutnfancy.

  • Everyone thinks they are a sniper with a riffle. It takes a lot to become one, just just owning any old riffle.

  • needs more duracoat....jimping too XD rofl

  • can you tell me what is the device on the buttstock. its like a monopod fro the buttstock. can you tell me what is it call and where can i buy one?

  • seriously, i bought this exact one only in 308,im curious to see what you think about it nutn...please review!

  • @JayFry2000 dude, you use duracoat to protect your rifle from scratches, dings, and rust. well, maybe nutnfancy uses it to be OMG TAKTIKAL OPERATUR SNYPAR, but thats just him

  • hey nutnfancy, i know you love your duracoating, my question is... what is your opinion on the camo tape for a temporary camo finish? you mentioned that an "assault" type rifle you like in black so it looks more mean and menacing. but if you need to camo it up in an shtf environment, do you think camo tape works? i've never used it myself... thanks!

  • as soon as you paint your rifle you become SUPER SNIPERY!!

  • @Probuilt7 In reply to someone who mentioned an FAC. which when i google imaged it came up with a shotgun.

  • Wish you would duracoat my new Remmy 700 5R and scope. hehehe

  • @Probuilt7 What? when? quote it. i have known what a shotgun is for as long as i can remember. i dont need to do more homework. i know my way around a firearm well enough by now.

  • @Probuilt7 whats to say i dont know how to handle one already? thanks for being concerned. but i know how to use most types of firearm.

  • never met a sniper that didnt paint his own rifle.

  • great vid... but you still have yet to review this gun... *hint* *hint*

  • Very cool, although I don't like the color (I'm not a fan of yellow, orange, brown colors), this is still pretty cool, and I enjoyed watching the process.

  • KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK NUT'N....VERI WILL YOU PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT THE REAR MONOPOD IN THIS VID? I'M HAVING NO LUCK FINDING ONE ONLINE... +

  • whats the caliber of your rifle

  • how much ? that is the 700 or the m24?

  • @dioni81 700

  • so how durable is the paint? does it hold up against the moving parts like the bolt, and the constant hand touched areas?

  • darker duracoat stripes would look cool too on that color

  • put darker duracoat stripes on it

  • Great vids Nutn, keep them up! Am now seriously considering getting a .308 remington and and Dura coating it aswell, will probably be olive green as it will fit in with the English countryside. Also like the shotgun vids, very informative!

  • what exact sope is that? and were did you buy the scope shade?

  • never trust duracoat color charts, they are all lighter., still not a bad color though., the "trijicon dark earth" is a really good one, looks just like the KAC Taupe

  • u also dont need to sand the rifle, REALLY UNessesary, jus degrease n shoot, it stays on just fine., i def dont recommend sanding any rifle

  • hey nutn, to dull it up a bit, now krylon it, then use it alot, and the krylon will wear off while the duracoat will stay put, makes for a great well used camo finish , makes for multiple layers.,

  • first problem is your rifle is now shiny, second is the color as you mentioned is way to light

  • the old 700 bdl will go off i found out the hard way and had to fix the whole in the bed of my truck only a handful of them will do it all i have to do with mine is touch the bolt with it on fire makes it hard to unload but is one of the best gun i own

  • the old 700 bdl will go off i found out the hard way and had to fix the whole in the bed of my truck only a handful of them will do it all i have to do with mine is touch the bolt with it on fire makes it hard to unload

  • Just wondering how did that brownells paint hold up? Looking for a cheaper way to coat my turkey gun.

  • DURACOAT IS A WASTE OF MONEY. If you want a tough finish Cerakote it.

Or do what i do and krylon your stuff.

  • Did you bead blast any part on the gun as recommended, or did you just get by with sanding the entire weapon with 400 grit paper?

  • DO MORE OF THIS GUN i used caps, that means i want it real bad

  • i havent taken the time to look up your other videos but i've been wanting to paint my ar-15 for quite some time now, any pointers on how to? as in, should i break the rifle down and work it in seperate pieces etc?

  • i own lots of guns and last week i saw on the news that the remington 700 goes off by itself i wanted to know what you think about taht

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros We think its more hype by the media to make guns "scary and dangerous". -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy I saw the special, the media made it seem more that it is. Just wondering if Nutn ever experienced it? I'm thinking of getting a 700p and all input would be appreciated.

  • @nutnfancy yep goes off when you pull the trigger...weird considering its a gun

  • @nutnfancy yep goes off when you pull the trigger...weird considering its a gun...dam media

  • @nutnfancy Yeah, watch Rem.'s reply. CSNBC flat out lied.

  • @nutnfancy I dunno. I think the media has been focusing on the 700 specifically (where it can go from there is another story). Have you had any of these issues yourself? I'm skeptical but I've seen some fairly solid journalism on the issue.

  • @nutnfancy Well you've thought wrong, I have witnessed it several times at the range.

  • @nutnfancy probably a rumor made up by none other than THE DASTARDLY WINCHESTER MODEL 70

  • Comment removed

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros

surely that could only happen if dropped or misused? im sure you are a responsable firearms owner :)

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros there is a reason the the militray and police have used remington 700 style weapons for years, they are great, and the news about them going off by themselves, just more anti-gun liberal bull shit, ive seen them beat to shit over seas and one has never just gone off, even when droped

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros I was reading a news article the other day talking about this very thing. From what it said the only way it goes off is if the safety switch is inbetween safe and fire, then you have to pull the trigger, and then flip the safety switch to fire. The autor of the article said he ownes a 700 and could not get his to do it after several attempts.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros

Yeah dude, guns don't go off by themselves. Most of the time this sort of thing happens, it's people discharging the firearm carelessly and blaming the gun.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros remington investigated on that more. the police that were using the 700 adjusted the trigger way below the maxium of the minimum pull. there ffore weakning springs and wearing metal down fast. so the gun BECAME dangerous after being mis adjusted.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros if you notice who is making these claims, you will find that it is MSNBC :/ they are about 236% liberal and anti-gun. I personally own one of these Remington 700P's, and it is as safe as a gun can be...and extremely accurate :) .375" groups all day.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros One batch of about 500 guns had that problem, a few years ago.

    I wouldnt worry about it.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros media says so much bull shit about fire arms. It drives me crazy

  • @poofy917 Because you always have those people who dont know how to use them properly and buy them anyway and end up in the news for doing stupid shit with them (i.e. killing themselves or people around them). The people who have experience with firearms usually are smart enough to stay out of the spotlight.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros Im replying to this abit late but thats just mainly said to scare people.. if the 700 was dangerous, The military wouldnt be using it

Now OLD models, if you try to fire it while the saftey is ON some guns[Not all of them mainly old ones] You'll feel a slight creep and it wont go off, obviously now when you go to take the saftey off the gun will fire

I know someone that has an older 700 that has done it and nearly blew off his nephews head afterwards

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros i saw that as well and read up on it, it looks like its more of an issue of people not knowing where there finger is or holding there finger on the trigger when they chamber a round... just my 2 cents!

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros it is true i own one and its very true remington has had this problem before its with the gun itself i think you can send it to remington and have them put a different trigger system mechanism in it but other words be very carefull with the gun

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros There was an issue with this. there was a documentary or interview special something like that. With the guy who designed the 700, he admitted that there was a design flaw that could be dangerous. He reported it to remington but he was ignored. There were also reports and videos by army or marine snipers where it actually showed the malfunction. Oh and it doesnt shoot by itself, it shoots when you touch the bolt after you've closed it or something like that.

  • @andrademeza

    1. let gun rust

    2. adjust trigger pull so that it's like .3 pounds

    3. go to media

"omg why my raiful does shoot?"

  • @dannyman4444 well i dont really know what your trying to say, (cuz im siik as a race horse you'd put down, and cuz im drunk off rum) but okay.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros My neighbor what hunting with his this past fall/winter and had that problem happen twice, he hasn't had a problem since. He said it might have possibly been due to the drastic heat to cold (68-15 degrees) aka goin inside to outside but idk. I hadnt ever heard of it happening until 3 months ago and his is also like 25-30 years old.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros

I have a rem 700 in a 243 and 270, the 270 is the one in the news, I took both rifles out and tried to make them discharge like they did in the video and I could NOT make them go off. I guess it is possible with the right weapon.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros take a look at the remington response to that lie in the "news"

    just some liberal bullshit lie.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros The sear engagement of the Remington 700 trigger is extremely sensitive and far to many people have the bad habit of playing with it when they don't know what they're doing. From the factory, no weapon will "Go off by itself". The lawyers would have a field day.

  • @MrLorenzotrigueros It is bull, you are talking about a 2 branches of the military that swears by this exact gun and police forces all over the US, as well as the IDF. You would think with that much scrutiny, this gun would be rejected if it went off like that. I bet if anything there was a batch of 700's that were defective and recalled. If special forces who are perfectionists still stand by it, it must be rock solid

  • Its too light. nice shoot though. Id carry a few covers for those unpainted dials and duracoat the covers.

  • Hey nutnfancy, Where do you go to shoot this video? your run n gun videos? Do you belong to a club or are you shooting on your land? I'm trying to figure out a good approach to a similar setup. -Thanks

  • THE FINISH COLOR IS OK! but there is alot of shine?? why is not a flatter looking finsh,,,btw love your vids PLEASE DO ONE ON M-72 RPK!THANKS keep the the very cool work...

  • REVIEW THIS GUN NUTN !!!!

  • @shanehey its a remington 700. whats there to review about it :)

  • Do you have any recommendations on who or where to send a bolt to to have a badger bolt knob installed? I recently purchased an r700 and I would love to upgrade the bolt handle but lack the experience to do it myself. Thanks!

  • @karn1v0r Honestly man, you can go to one of your local machine shops and they can do the work but you need to do a little research so that you understand what needs to happen before you take it to them and explain what you want. Its actually alot easier than it seems if you have the tools. I had mine done at a shop that rebuilds engines and it came out awesome. Hope this helps.

  • looks dumb. needs a darker shade no offfence, looks almost white.

  • Make your order now # lushfmlk.info #

  • @Breakneckhydra1

calm down mate, im not going to do it:) he only meant it as a harmless joke. peace mate :)

  • @Darkestsides

    leave him alone mate

  • I would jizz myself if this came in digital camo.

  • how does the duracoat hold up to abuse

  • @tommysixgunner Look up his other Duracoat videos, He loves the stuff but for more on it, check out the vids

  • @bmx65 cool thanks

  • @tommysixgunner Search "duracoat durability" to see nutnfancys video on that subject.

  • you are killin everyone lol what kind of scope is it? I want it for my Remington 700 30'06

  • Looks like a good even finish! A good job!

  • what scope is that?

  • Beautiful looking finish, nice work. Reminds me of taffy. :D

  • do you remove the bolt before you painted??? or how i can do to dont paint the bolt and the inside of the bolt space and chamber???? i have a barrett .50 cal and i want to paint it butt i wanna be sure if i can paint it with out the bolt or with the bolt in??? please help me!! thanks!

  • DuraCoat seems to reflect light...do they have a non-reflective version?

  • what mono pod is on the back of the gun?

  • This was a excellent video. I would appreciate it if you would review the 700P 300 Winchester Magnum. Thank you!

  • MOAR!!!!

  • It needs more camo..like maybe in a leaf pattern or digital

  • i like the painted 10/22's but i w ould never paint a 700 much to of a expensive gun

  • Tiger Stripe it with coyote brown ;)

  • What I did was to get some stiff cardboard and made some stencils out of them. I took one sheet of cardboard and and made "branches" by slicing 1/2 diagonal and vertical stripes using an exacto blade. I then place the stencil over my base coat and spray the lines. It came out very cool ! I practiced this on a couple of Toy Rifles first.

  • hey bro you got a ass bad rifle there how do you do the duracoat? I have a savage 7mm and want it done that way you have yours!

  • what scope is that?

  • u duracoat everything and thts awesome

  • makes me wana paint my airsoft guns...

yes, i swore, i said airsoft on a firearms video. but forgive me, i live in the UK. i cant get real guns.

  • @MATTNATTMATT Airsoft comments welcome, no apology necessary. Nutn loves airsoft, he just can't take it anymore, because of bad knees. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy

i reckon with all the run and gun he does he would be good at it.

  • @nutnfancy Dude thats awsome Nutn airsoft thats awosme haha

  • @nutnfancy Lolz but he can run n gun? can you please clarify (TNPeRS ROCK)

  • @MATTNATTMATT all you need is a firearms licence

  • @WhoDaresWins164

yeah i know. but i need different licences for different firearms. oh, and im 15

  • @MATTNATTMATT Me too. I did for my CA33K A3 with Krylon. I wonder what's better between this and Brownell's paint?

  • @MATTNATTMATT that sux! Why cant you get firearms??

  • @kathryn2348

im 15, i would need a licence, to get a licence i have to be 18 i think. plus, there are only a few types we can own :)

  • lol england you can still get bolts

  • @MATTNATTMATT ouch better learn how to swim if a zombie outbreak happens lol

  • @MATTNATTMATT You can get real guns in england, you just have to have permission, place, reason to own them. Best thing is to be a member of a registered gun club.

  • @origeonalpranksta Yeah i know. i was exaggerating. Im going to try get hold or a nice bolt action rifle, but i will need a ton of paper work lol :)

  • @MATTNATTMATT i know how u feel also live in uk their firearms law is complete BS intill the goverment realises that the arverage law abiding citizen isnt dangerous the better

  • @MATTNATTMATT I'm still disturbed about all these bans on firearms :/ Don't worry though, Americans lose their rights too. Ever hear of the Patriot act?

  • @ChiefsFan581 Yeah, im on wikipedia now as i dont know what it is. why do you ask?

  • @MATTNATTMATT Basically just a big bill that gave up a bunch of American rights. As soon as they try to take away OUR weapons is when I will fear the country is going towards a police state.

  • Comment removed

  • @ChiefsFan581 It's already going toward a police state.

  • @MATTNATTMATT Well its a damn shame that the UK doesn't off its citizen's rights when it comes to home defense and recreation. Firearms have been an integral part of the United Kingdom's history since firearms have been invented, and only in the last couple decades have guns become "bad things" that are only used for "evil" purposes. Tell your parliament to pull its head out of its ass... try and frame it as a way to get more tax revenue... I'm sure they'll jump on it. lol
