For people who have repeated pattern in there backgrounds it's not to bad but for those who have a picture like a picture of spongebob in their background the new design covers it and you have to make it transparent and if you do that often it's hard to read the text on their channel like their info.

The "Quicklist Button" that usually shows up in the thumbnail of a video aren't there in the 2.0. That annoys me when the user doesn't have any playlists set up, which by the way, are set up horribly now as well.
The only thing that I don't like about the 2.0 beta channels is when I try to go through them on my PS3 online browser, it glitches the hell out and I can't scroll at all. It will keep itself in the top left corner. Of course this problem doesn't happen unless I touch something, but the minute I do, I can't leave that top left corner, making my entire experience on these channels pointless.
The channel design has changed about 4 times. Each time it has gotten a little better and increased functionality. People just hate change. I get that you want to keep your old design, but your argument sounds more like "the new design doesn't look like the old design, and so it sucks". Also, when you go to someone's 2.0 Beta and you try to check out their uploaded videos, they don't let you use the QuickList feature. I used to be able to just hit See All tab, and hit the + signs on what i wanted to add to the list and quickly sit down and view a video. This made it easy to watch things that were in a series like a wrestling event or what have you. now you have to rely on the side scroll that you mentioned that can't even keep up half the time.

In the new channels, the uploads does not have "MOST DISCUSSED", which means that you can't arrange videos according to the number of comments.

The only thing that I don't like about the 2.0 beta channels is when I try to go through them on my PS3 online browser, it glitches the hell out and I can't scroll at all. It will keep itself in the top left corner. Of course this problem doesn't happen unless I touch something, but the minute I do, I can't leave that top left corner, making my entire experience on these channels pointless.

The channel design has changed about 4 times. Each time it has gotten a little better and increased functionality. People just hate change. I get that you want to keep your old design, but your argument sounds more like "the new design doesn't look like the old design, and so it sucks". You and everyone else has been being extremely hyperbolic. Also, try grid view if you don't like scrolling so much.

I agree. The only advantage for the new channels are viewing your or another persons favorites. Just click on a video without leaving the page & click on the next one with ease.

beta sycks it looks like a kindergarten kid designed it. I was shocked to find my channel changed to 2.0 beta I liked it the old way much more organised and eaiser to use. Overall conclusion youtube and wwe are alike they don't give a shit about the people and they also side with the lowest magority of the vote.

Youtube Beta sucks so hard. It is horribly aesthetically, and for all the reasons you mentioned.
I wish it was an optional change. Let people who want the classic look stay with the classic look. Why fix what wasn't broken?

I agree, the channels are horrible. They look like someone took all the pieces of the original channel (uploads, favorites, personal info, etc) and just slapped it every which way like a blind man putting a puzzle together. It's like Picasso designed these channels or something

Yeah that's not gonna be there later on. In a couple of weeks, maybe a month, every single channel will be 2.0 I had my old channel last week because i switched it then i logged in about 3 days ago and it was permanently switched to Beta. Don't get comfortable. Unfortunately.

well the only good that comes out of this is if ur watching several videos on one channel the entire browser doesnt have to load which really wasnt a problem in the 1st place. some videos take longer than others to load on here anyway. i hate when people try to fix what isnt broken.

let me also note that i find it pathetic of unknown companies sponsoring there shits on my video. say i'm gonna watch a video and on the bottom of the screen a fucking ad just mysteriously makes its way up out of no where like it was an act of god. WTF. not to mention i've experienced waiting out a 30 sec commercial just to see a video. if i wanted to see commercials i would have turned on the tele. i don't like the thought of all these ads

Also, when you go to someone's 2.0 Beta and you try to check out their uploaded videos, they don't let you use the QuickList feature. I used to be able to just hit See All tab, and hit the + signs on what i wanted to add to the list and quickly sit down and view a video. This made it easy to watch things that were in a series like a wrestling event or what have you. now you have to rely on the side scroll that you mentioned that can't even keep up half the time.
