it just looks like a pink bottlenose, not a river dolphin. river dolphins dont have much of a dorsal fin and have a much longer pronounced snout. but i could be wrong.

Just to clarify: This is a humpback dolphin, they often have the same pink/grey coloration as the Amazon river dolphin.

i understand the urge to pet the dolphin but what people dont know is albino animals have sensitive skin to the sun. the dolphin is pink because it's sunburnts. people are reporting it's pink because it's healthy but it's just sunburnt which causes the pink. please dont pet it anymore. imagine how you'd feel if you were touched when sunburnt. i'd imagine the pet is used to it because of hitting the waves of the water and plants hitting it's skin. poor thing. wish people read about albinos

i've peted a dolphin and kissed one and danced with one .I love dolphins , that is why my parents let me do it ,but i have never seen a pink dolphin ever and its my fav colour

This is the shallower part of the lagoon where people can pet it. The lagoon is quite huge and of course not shallow in other parts. There's a limited number of people allowed to pet the dolphin thus the dolphin don't have to stay there for too long. Moreover, while waiting to be petted, the dolphin is fed fish by the carers. =)
