I'm curious about the versus always cited as prophecy for the rebirth of Israel. But the only slaves Egypt kept were the spoils of war, or when civil in-fighting and rebellion occured in Palestine. Historically, the Hebrew account of Pharaoh enslaving the Hebrews is very likely a mythical anti-Egyptian satire written in the 6th century.

The second mass of Hebrew slaves was right after Rome conquered all of the Jewish kingdom in 70 AD. Alexandria, Gaza, Rome, and other big cities in the Roman Empire were flooded with Hebrew (Arab colored) slaves who were sold for cheap because the market was flooded with them.

This video should have mentioned Amos 9:7 (KJV) because it reveals the children of Israel are as children of the Ethiopians. I'm curious about the versus always cited as prophecy for the rebirth of Israel. @degen83 There was no mass of Hebrew slaves in Egypt at any time. There was the Habiru, the Amorites, some Hurrian slaves and some Nubians. But the only slaves Egypt kept were the spoils of war, or when civil in-fighting and rebellion occured in Palestine. Historically, the Hebrew account of Pharaoh enslaving the Hebrews is very likely a mythical anti-Egyptian satire written in the 6th century.

The second mass of Hebrew slaves was right after Rome conquered all of the Jewish kingdom in 70 AD. Alexandria, Gaza, Rome, and other big cities in the Roman Empire were flooded with Hebrew (Arab colored) slaves who were sold for cheap because the market was flooded with them.

It is patently obvious that their 'claim' was nothing more than a distant memory of someone elses Exodus event, perhaps the Hyksos expulsion or the rounding up of the lepers in the reign of Amenhotep. Israel never left Canaan, and emerged peacefully from the Canaanite population. There was no Conquest of Canaan, and the place names where the Israelites supposedly worked in Egypt are anachronistic. Clear to me that the Exodus was a satire and not history.

This video should have mentioned Amos 9:7 (KJV) because it reveals the children of Israel are as children of the Ethiopians.
