Wow. The tree argument is EASILY explained and I would bet that the speaker is well aware of the fact that what he says is flatly false. What a dishonest video. He asserts himself as more knowledgable than the greatest minds in the world that have dedicated their lives to studying this stuff. His 7 year old knows though! This guy has no degree in geology, or astrophysics yet he claims expertise over the foremost scientists. Don't accept these lies, look it up yourself.

Your reading of Genesis 1 is a mistranslation as, "God created the heaven and the earth", not the "heavens". A big difference, really.

His point about the Moon and its distance from the Earth is especially absurd, again showing that he is badly misinformed or just lying. The Moon's rate of retreat hasn't been constant, but it's needed billions of years to get where it is now. Likewise, we know from testing moon rocks and other sources that the Moon is over four billion years old. Are we arguing about facts or opinions? So far the ones who do not like this video either ignore the limits that the VERIFIED DATA put on the age of the earth or they just give us their opinion. One more point on population growth. Brad states in this video that Earth's population was exactly 8 at 4500 years ago. He also states that Earth's population doubles every roughly 35 years. It's a simple exponential formula and Brad gives us all of the variables. Here's the calculation:

8*2^(4500/35) = 4.04e39.

That 'e' means 4 with 39 zeros behind it, which is what Brad "The Numbers Don't Lie" Harrub is claiming Earth's population to be. Check Brad's math before you repeat this tale.

The human population hasn't doubled every 35 years on average, the most prominent spikes have coincided with major advancements in technology, agriculture and medicine.

Due to time constraints, Dr. Harrub’s video does not present all of the math details behind our human population growth rate. Today’s doubling time has to increase from 35 years to 150 years to get 4400 years for the age of man since the global flood. Conversely, evolution requires doubling every 90,000 years. But taking 90,000 years to double means apes could not accumulate the ~100,000,000 “good-mutations” in their DNA code (required to evolve into humans) in just 3 to 5 million years.

What are you referencing when you say "evolution requires doubling every 90,000 years"? You speak like this is a numerical constant. Growth rates are variable (as you've already pointed out Brad's problem). What are you talking about?

32:44 Brad starts talking about population statistics as evidence for a young Earth. Population growth rates are a well understood topic and follow an exponential growth rate. Brad says that you can calculate back to a time when "there wasn't as many people". I'll bite. If you really do the calculation, you can see 4 million people at 12,000 years ago. There are _no_ significant decreases from then to the present. If there was a global flood, no one died in the processes.
