Shouldn't use a task manager :( It kills battery :P People think it saves it but it doesn't, because most of the things you kill are programmed to be reopened immediatley so Android uses more resources to reopen those apps... I have a Sensation, just sayin.

what is your opinion on windows 7? as in the future im picking up a new phone in a week and im heavy set towards windows mobile but do you think it will have support 2 years from now? i dont want it ending up like my zune hd and it has no support other than music on it

@cantfishnow I think Windows Phone has a TON of potential, and in a few years, could be one of the leading mobile OS's out there on smartphones. Microsoft has created a totally original UI and plans to combine everything together. Windows PC + Windows Phone + Xbox + Zune = Win.

@seb7dagreat It's a good phone, but I wouldn't recommend picking it up now unless you can get a really good price on it. It isn't worth full price anymore IMO.

you should try "panoplanet". it costs about 2 $ but its pretty fun to play with. its a live wallpaper that makes any picture panoramic and gives you full 360 rotation as you switch through your homescreens. its wild. also may I suggest a launcher pro review? just mentioning it causes its an app I think really shows off the benefit of androids "openess"

Im with you prince on purchasing an iphone 5 or the nexus prime. I have a dx and since the 2.3 update the battery life has been horrible! My gps has gotten worse. Just a shit load of problems that i don't need. Ios is always solid and a pure nexus phone is good so i won't have to worry about all this crap that they advertise on the phone even though im paying over 3grand over the course of 2yrs! It's a shame that google allows them to mistreat android that way. But anywayz iphone5 or nexus p 4me

@pcigroot A $600 phone that can't run apps is a worthless phone. It's like buying a computer and not putting anything on it for fear of it slowing down. That defeats the purpose. These phones have incredible hardware and can definitely handle a few apps. Battery life is still good as well, just make sure to turn off radios when you're not using them.

@BlackPrince310 yea all radios are turned off and the brightness is at the lowest, but yet my g2 can barely last a day. maybe its cuz i play quite a bit of music on it. but either way no matter what hardware it has, a phone with 100 apps or 50 apps isnt as fast as one with 10 or 15.

@pcigroot That's strange. I remember the G2 having the best battery of any Android phone I've tested so far. Regardless, I'm going to use a phone to it's fullest potential. I'm not going to install 5 apps and have all my home screens blank just so it can stay fast, that defeats the point.

I just saw flossy carters impression of the photon 4g have you had a chance to get your hands on one because I'm getting a phone under Sprint and I'm undecided between nexus s 4g and the photon 4g so which is better I like nfc tech and pure Google with nexus s but photon 4g is dual core and world capable so which one is better from your p.o.v? Also when you buy your phone outright it doesn't tie you down to a contract or does it? I'm asking because use to prepaid but now mehhh

@SoleBella4 Not yet. I'm trying to get one soon but I'm not sure if I will. Honestly they are both great phones, but I couldn't justify paying full price for the Nexus S this late in the cycle. If you're going to pay full price the Photon is a better buy. Correct, buying a phone outright doesn't tie you down to a contract.
