The only rhythm game I ever got was Guitar Hero III. It was fun for a while, then it got boring. I just don't think games like this are interactive enough to have lasting appeal for me.

Metallica weren't influenced by the Beatles directly, but its really obvious that without the Beatles they wouldn't exist. Check out Helter Skelter, one of the first metal songs. Ok, so the ones like "She Loves You" are generic, feel good type stuff, but the Beatles 1965-1970 is rock music perfection, it will never be topped. The song writing is top notch, and the use of innovative ideas and more experimental type stuff make them one of the most important bands ever. And they did have a strong amount of complex songs.

Metallica weren't influenced by the Beatles directly, but its really obvious that without the Beatles they wouldn't exist. Check out Helter Skelter, one of the first metal songs. Oh, and not to mention the Beatles changed the way albums were recorded, produced and even packaged. Also, the Beatles were arguably the first people to invent music videos. Oh, and Metallica ripped off the cover for the White Album, but instead colouring it all black.
