I can only honor my mother by living a God honoring life; she is verbally and emotionally abusive; she makes it impossible to have a relationship with her (she's always been this way). I pray she gets right with God before it's too late...

Caring for the elderly is an extremely important, complex & challenging issue & especially so when caring for an elderly ill parent. The world gives no support to family caregivers who are generally tired & over 60 themselves with health & financial issues regarding their own age related issues. We would all like to be "good" Christians & we may pray 4 strength all night & day but we caregivers r still human & we have more worries & duties & sleepless nights & we break down too. Guilt? Grace?

Yeshua said to love one another. He also covered, honoring our Fathers and Mothers. In jewish society....Gran-Fathers & Gran-Mothers were concidered the same as Fathers and Mothers, etc. . . . If one claims to be a christian and does not show respect or honor to the elders, they have fallen from grace. How about visiting a senior center and read the bible to a elder or listen to their stories, tell them you love them. Pray with them.

Great video dear brother and you make some very valid and important points.This is a vital and serious issue.A real lack of ministry in the church.Young people need to get involved.We must not exclude the elderly.5*****!!!!!!!!
