Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for leaving me a comment.

I normally use Seuthe's smoke generator. I installed #100 10-16V on this model because this BLI Blueline engine did not have a factory-installed smoke generator.

  • I bet all the passenger car were Walthers.

  • @HunterR909

Hello.Thank you for watching my video.

All the passenger cars are made by "Branchline Trains"

  • sexy

  • @TheGalligan

Hello.Thank you for watching my video.

  • nice engine. by the way, is that first coach derailed?

  • @tndm123

Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for leaving me a nice comment.

Yes,as you say the baggage car is derailed. There's something wrong with tracks.

  • how much does such a wonderfull train set cost ? :)

  • @Meeturehell2

Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for leaving a nice comment.

I think the engine with a Suethe's smoke unit was about US$300 and the passenger car was about US$50 each.

I understand Broadway Limited is going to reissue this Blueline PRR T1 engine for US$349.99.

  • Can you show it going faster

  • @brickmaster24

Hello.Thank you for watching my video. O.K.,let me try it but for this season I am quite involved, and I will be able to do it in early spring.

  • @houtokur8 thanks its just that the t1s were known for speed(as well as a few probs) so i just thought it be cool to it at full speed

  • Those are not modernism passenger cars there all heavy weights except for the baggage car

  • @c40Ron

Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for leaving a nice comment.

Yes,as you mention three cars are heavyweight passenger cars and I think three are modernism passenger cars. Because Walthers prints "New Modernism" on the boxes.

I enjoyed all of your train videos.

  • @c40Ron It is my understanding that after Raymond Lowey made the streamline "Fleet of Modernism" cars with the paint scheme with the red stripe in the window area that the PRR actually did paint some standard cars with that paint scheme to promote its modern fleet.

  • Tiny smoke rings how cute lol

  • @TheeNinja250R

Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for a nice comment.

  • do you have the P.R.R.s 4-4-6-4 or the 4-6-4-4, they look odd but they are COOL!! are these MTH models or Bachmanns?

  • @BTCRAIL101FILMS

Hello.I think BLI is going to release PRR Q2 4-4-6-4 Hybrid locomotive in HO this year.I once saw PRR Q1 4-6-4-4 in O gage on Youtube.

    They are really great!!

  • great video! the t-1 looks great! i see a derail on the first coach

  • @fallingup90

Hello.Thank you for watching my video.Yes,there's something wrong with a truck of a baggage car.

I enjoyed some of your train videos.Thank you.

  • @houtokur8 i guess all good things have their faulty things. i had some of those coaches from this vid but they kept derailing. i sent them back after 3 days. i don't know what the problem was.

thanks for watching my train videos.

  • @MrAllenRiggs

Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for giving me an information.

I did not know that T1 Duplex originally did not have a large tender.

Could you tell me what was the name of the train?Did it run from Philadelphia to Chicago without making any stops straight?

  • @houtokur8 It actually would be put on at Harrisburg, not Philly, running to Chicago, as that would be where the changeover from the electrics took place. Trains made several stops along the way: Altoona, Pittsburgh, Crestline, Lima, Fort Wayne, and Englewood were stops on the Broadway Limited. Other trains pulled by the T1's might have made more stops. As soon as the E-7 diesels arrived (roughly 1947), the T1s were relegated to runs other than the Broadway.

  • @BenAliGtor

Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for leaving me a nice comment.

As a matter of fact I did not know much about the T1s. Thanks to you,I learned a lot about them .

  • yeah! frieght or passenger, she can handle it!

  • thats a BIG tender!

  • @Railfan19960

Hello.Thank you for watching my video.I also enjoyed some of your NS train videos.

Yes,this engine has a really BIG tender.I think this locomotive could travel a long distance.

  • @houtokur8 no problem! and i think the steam loco can run over a 1,000 miles per trip. who knows

  • @Railfan19960

    Yes,it's really amazing!

  • is the rail number on this one "5517", "5528", "5533", or "5511"?

  • @danpilot547

Hello.Thank you for watching my video.Let me answer your question.

    It's road number is "5511".

  • @houtokur8 did you get this train for about $500? because i am trying to get ahold of something like this.... thx for the previous answer

  • @danpilot547

Hello.Thank you for watching my video.

I bought this model for $248.49 from Factory Direct Trains and I installed a smoke unit later.

  • @houtokur8 thak you for the information.... this will help a lot!

  • @danpilot547

    You are welcome.

  • Brilliant video of one of my favourite locos.

    5* definitely

  • @sonstwer01

Thank you very much for watching my video and for giving me a nice comment.

I also enjoyed some of your videos.

  • The 4-4-4-4 T1 is my favorite steam train, if not my favorite train. I know almost everything about it (except for the designers and builders)! I'm dying to get one of these BLI 4-4-4-4 Trains!

  • @Carnotaurus98

Hello. Thank you for watching my video and for giving me a comment.

I know you love this PRR T1 engine. I checked the stock list of BLI but I was afraid I could not find this model.I don't know if this BLI locomotive is still available in the market.

  • Thank you for the video. Is this an BLI model?

  • @bzuccala46

Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for asking a question.

Yes, this engine is BLI made. I installed a DCC decoder and a smoke unit.

  • @HaloCE14

Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for giving me a nice comment,

Yes,it's pretty sorry that all of the Duplex have scrapped and none is preserved.

  • HO SCALE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @myjuto369

Hello, thank you for watching my video.

Yes,it's HO scale yet puffs and chuffs.I love this locomotive a lot.

  • This looks so much like the SAR Steam locomotive!

  • Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for giving me a comment.

I am sorry I don't know the SAR Steam locomotive.Could you tell me where the railroad locates?

  • Well its somewhere located in Pennsylvannia but all of them have been scrapped in real life... (*SNIFF*)

  • Is that right? It's so pitty that all of them have been scrapped!

  • Yeah, Its sad... (*SNIFF*) They even scrapped all of the famouse NYC Dreyfuss Hudson 4-6-4 Steam locomotive... (*SNIFF*) WHY?!? WHY DO THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO SCRAP THE STREAMLINED STEAM LOCOMOTIVES?!? CURSE YOU, STEAM LOCOMOTIVE MURDERERS! (*CRIES*)

  • It's a quite problem, but I am afraid steam engines eat a lot of expense.

  • @houtokur8 Yeah, Maybe thats why steam locomotives are being scrapped... =(

  • Do you have to clean the tracks alot because of the smoke?

  • Hello.Thank you for watching my video and for asking me a question.

I don't think you need to clean your tracks often because of the smoke. However, the Suethe's smoke smells really bad so I recommend you to use MTH's smoke fluid

  • Can this T-1 engine handle 22 inch curves without problems?

Is it equipped with traction tires?

Is the model made out of plastic or diecast metal or something else?

  • Hello. Thank you for watching my video.

BLI recommends more than 22 inches radius. As your track is maintained well, 22-inch curve will be alright.

This locomotive is equipped with rubbered traction tires.

The engine has an ABS plastic body shell and a diecast chassis.

  • Hello. What number of Suethe do you use?

  • こんにちは。ビデオをご覧いただきまして、有難うございます。

    この機関車には、#99を使用しております。

  • 返答ありがとうございます。

    分解してハンダ付けが必要みたいですね。

    ありがとうございました。

  • is this HO you used?

  • Hello.Yes,this PRR T1 Duplex is in HO scale..It's manufactured by Braodway Limited Import. The Suethe smoke unit is not factory-installed.I love this beautiful locomotive.

  • nice layout

  • Hello, thank you for watching my videos and for giving me a nice comment.

  • Hi,where did you buy the train from, who's the maker of that Ho version..My boyfriend wants one..

  • Hello, thank you for watching my video.

I don't know whether they are still available or not,but I bought the BLI-made Deplex engine from "Factory Direct Trains" and Branchlines-made passenger cars from "Caboose Hobbies".

Please note that a Suethe-made smoke unit is not factory installed.

  • Those Branchline 12-1 Pullmans really do the train justice, don't they? You may want to add a dining car and 2 or 3 "head end" cars (express reefs, baggage, RPO) as well. I can haul 12 heavyweights with my T-1 with ease.

  • Hello. Thank you for watching my video and for giving me a nice comment.

Yes If I could add a "New Modernism" dining car and "head end" cars,it would be a perfectly beautiful consist. I've been looking for them for a long time.Yet, I am sorry I can't find any one of those.

  • Woah is that thing smokin, is that a Seuthe smoke unit in the T-1? Its a very nice locomotive you got there.

  • Hello.thank you for a nice comment.

Yes,this locomotive is equipped with a Suethe smoke unit. It looks really cool with puffing smoke.

  • u have so many nice trains

  • Hello.Thank you for a nice comment.

  • Awesome!
