hello, you say you live in an apartment building in Nagoya "2 blocks away from Don Quixote". What do you mean by Don Quixote? I'm planning on moving to Japan when I get older to Nagoya, Japan and Don Quixote is my FAVORITE book ever!
I know you've been asked this a lot before, but how much is the rent?
@Daver869 Hi! Sorry I'm super late, but in case you still haven't found out what Don Quixote is, it's a discount chain store that sells everything from general items to groceries. A lot of Japanese people refer to it by its nickname 'Donki' and its mascot is a blue penguin...it unfortunately, has nothing to do with The Man of LaMacha :p
Rent for that apartment in Nagoya was about 130000 - 150000 yen I believe.
@xxshotxdownxheartxx I was SUPER surprised to find out that the apartment had a separate bedroom with a door! My apartment in Shizuoka featured a sliding door...I think the rent was about 130000 - 150000 yen. My apartment in Shizuoka was a little smaller, but that was about 60000 - 700000 yen.
I love how its a combination lock to your mailbox...and a tab looking key. Japan is so creative!!

stumbled upon your video, cause I'm thinking of living in Nagoya for a while. How much was your rent? It's WAY bigger than what I thought I'd see. :)
