Jazz Singer (pt. 4) Neil Diamond

No disrespect to Urban Cowboy but I always felt that Jazz Singer was the best movie from 1980. The movie brings back memories watching of a bright light in December 1980 during another dark time like August 1977 in the music industry following John Lennon's death.

Great movie, great movie, after seeing it at the movie theatre eight times I went out & bought the VHS tape, still watch it to this day, 33 years later. Critics said Neil could'nt act, shows how much those idiots know. One of my favourite films of all time, rock on Neil !!!!! You'll always be No. 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed her performance in this movie.

Funny and grace doesn't get any better.

The shots of her in various scenes are brilliant, they border on poetic.

Particularly in Love on the Rocks, her beauty absolutely shines!.

Her emotion is pivotal!.

..not only is he still very much alive,... he is still performing , writing, recording , and last year appeared on American Idol and was a 'featured' singer. The contestants sang 'his' songs...LONG LIVE NEIL DIAMOND ! ! BTW His birthday is this week... HAPPY 69th, NEIL! !

Lucie Arnaz is incredible here. That those who 'know' talent, (I use the term loosely), have never realised this, is an example of their inability to do their job.
